    I ment that "tactic" or whatever it should be called. You'd think that dirty play would increase injury risks, but like I said I ran it in Lumber for about 5-6 seasons and atleast it didn't have as big effect as I was hoping. Yes, I'm terrible person, but I really was looking forward to pretty much killing everyother team , but it never happened.
  2. Iirc IF you had 3 keepers it used to bring the 3rd to start incase that happened, but apparently you had you'r 3rd in an affiliate so it couldn't do that. Affiliates just got released, but I'm pretty sure Anders will add it at some point. Tad annoying, yes.

    Clarke McArthur did miss entire reg season iirc, because of a injury suffered in practice. and you sure it's because of that? I mean you'd think for sure, but I once tried LIHL->GHL team in lumber with big&physical&dirty mindset and I don't remember injuring that many players. and isn't unrestricted kinda the opposite what you want?

  6. Why would it be a bad idea? It would let us control best of our prospects and have to decide which to keep, instead of just hoarding players with salaries that lowerleague teams can't offer for eg. 5x and still paying them half the salary (5x*0,1=0,5x) than a lowerleague would have had they gotten him without you, because they were assigned to aahl. Rest of them will never be in line with GHL. IHL will always be handicapped, because of this compared to others, since they can't offer lowerleague players like the rest and GHL teams will never have upperleague teams taking their players to their affiliates. and why should someone keep their GHL place over somebody just because they have played longer and can hoard players from all the others?

    Last two relegate and first two promote and 3th-6th play poffs to decide which two will go to play poffs against 13th & 14th in the upperleague and winners stay/go in the upperleague.
  8. ^That "problem" is getting smaller every season tho What if we would have for eg. 26 contract limit, if you have more you'r players can be claimed by others if you don't they'r free to go down? You could have 3F, 2D & G or other combination as injury reserves, but it would limit hoarding players to affiliates.

  11. I'm going to follow MattLumberjacks lead and just say that besides reporting you can aswell contact the support team http://forums.gmgames.org/topic/7710-support-team/?p=27872 . I'd probably do both. E: IF there was a fishy trade between human and cpu I mean. If it's human to human trade then I'd let them be. E2: Reporting will cause a ban if enough ppl sees him as a cheater and contacting support team for eg. a trade might get it reverted etc.

  14. 1. Been pondering this ealier aswell, but never got it this far, but would it be possible to reduce cap when the season goes on? Like NHL. I mean even if it would be on the day that g40 is played every players cap would go down to 70% of what it was. (I just threw in a number). Like if I have players with 1.2m, 1m and 800k salaries they would cost me 840k, 700k and 560k for g41-60 + poffs. Or if my team has spent 53m of cap the total cap of my team would be 37,1m for g41 + poffs. Then again if I have released somebody with 4m contract (2m locked) and hav spent 53m on current roster only the current rosters cap would go down to that 70% (or whatever) so I would have that 2m+ 37,1m spent = 39,1m. That would imo. encourage ppl to make trades for a cup/promotion push, because they would have the room to do smthng and the other person could only send picks/prospects back. Now it feels like you pretty much have to give roster player back to get one, because of cap. That would require a system that breaks up a team with too high cap when season changes or atleast on d3 of the next season. I guess it could be like the highest paid goes until a team is under the cap. 2. At the same time I'd like to see moving TDL to smthng like d50. At the poffs is fine too, but I think it would make it more exiting when you'd have to do you'r stuff 10games earlier and you'r not necessarily in the poffs/promoting/relegating for sure like you are now. (3.) MAYBE add a function so you can offer trades even on days that you can't trade, but the other person can only accept them after the "trade block" is gone OR make it so that the players can't play for the new team until after the "trade block" is gone(which again might be harder to code xd)
  15. Afaik it's, atleast, affected by you'r tactics&his role. Stay at home D with PK time on Simple Box and defensive tactic that requires PHY + training on defensive => Physical training + some other D stuff and if you don't have PHY on any of you'r tactics then they won't get much out of it. Atleast that's how I understood it. Then again, I might be imagining things , but to me it feels like usually all of my players skills develop at the same rate, regardless of role/training so maybe just adjusting like +20% for the skills in use and -20% for them that aren't would solve this issue?. Not trying to trump you'r idea just tweaking the existing system to be more like it.(= less work for Anders = faster implemented + I think it's not so far from you'r ideas althought you take it a step further )

Missing the poffs seems like even more of a disappointment now I guess with the update and ppl refraining from abusing CPU it's going to even out even more in the future instead of the opposite. Atleast I atm. believe and hope so. It's not like IRL promoting teams compete for the cup the next year. (excluding top tier players making new team and starting from bottom and winning pretty much 99% of matches till they'r back at the topleague and maybe even could compete there or millionaire burning some millions, but it can't happen in GPH.)

  20. Hi! If it's not complicated would it be possible to add avg. age,height&weight in the same box that has the point leaders etc. atm? Not really impactful for the game itself, but would be interesting addition imo. E: or somewhere else like teaminfo tab?

Yeah it might not be an issue at all, but the one's with almost all red traits usually sit there idle so I'm pretty sure after 20-30 seasons or less I'm afraid there would be no players with red traits. Maybe that 2nd point would help with it? I mean I would take a all red GHL player in SHL everyday. Also wouldn't it make the competition more intense? Ofc, LIHL players can't afford GHL players and I think that SHL teams would grap them before they would be willing to play there if it we're possible so in practice they wouldn't be signing from the same pool.

And believe it or not, I'm currently going to have over 9m cap for next season so if someone is looking to clear some cap I could take one or two players, preferably C/F, but hit me up if you think you have something to offer. E: I mean players that are going to be useful for me or you'r willing to pay smthng so for me to take them.
