Not a bad idea. Just wondering how it would affect worlds that are +20seasons with it. A bit worried it would mean that there would only be players with all the traits at green Do that and hide traits? Also been wondering if some of those players would be willing to join lowerleagues if they are like half of the season without a job. Atm it feels like wether they say "they'r propably interested if nothing better comes up" or not, they won't join your team. League position only changes that, which should, but you'd think that a player could be willing to play if nothing better really comes up

I have a feeling that it's like the GHL has something like 30 Crosbys in 16 teams now in Lumber, since imo. Biscuits draft pools keep getting better and better every year we go by. As does the players ovr in GHL. Lumber's just few seasons ahead. I think talent is too abundant(?) in this game, not sure if it's a bug or not, but I'd like to see it tuned down.

Well... Now that the seasons midpoint is past us the poff picture looks quite a bit different than ~10games ago, but quite similar to the usual poff tree. Thought there's only handful of points separating 7th and 14th. I guess the competition gets tougher with every season we go by Pls, Steve, give up already

What about your captains? I think I changed mine recently, but then again we'v been slowing down lately so don't know if we'r back at the bad old habits.....

Just wondering do they have nervous/anxious trait? and hows your winner instinct? Been feeling that also... 3-5goal 3rd period meltdowns have been quite frequent for my team Thought I think I'v somehow gotten rid of it this season

I guess you'v been doing it "wrong" then I mean if you trade, let's say six, 25-35y old players with 80-85ovr for one 18y old 87ovr player how the heck it's not a win in every possile way? Only scenario I come up with is you'r relegating and 18y has 1W and others not with years left in contracts to lift you back up to GHL.

I have fucked up few drafts so take my advice with a grain of salt..With my current knowledge I would order them: Player - Pick preference A1 - 1st round B1 - 1st round A2 - 1st round C1 - 1st round B2 - 1st Round A3 - 1st Round C3 - 1st Round B3 - 1st Round C3 - 1st Round If you put them like you have above I think it will take C1 as the first round choice and leave A2 for 2nd round if he's still around. Atleast I think one draft fucked up, because of round# preference. E: and I think if it goes to 2nd round with C1&A2 available it will go for C1.

I guess everyone has right for a opinion, but if you'r making fair trades there really shouldn't be any reason to worry about it or expect to get burned for it. Besides this is the salty group you started E: There's also a big difference in stumpling upon a bug and intentionally trading few dry twigs for a diamond.

Cba to go and find the first trade, but I do have my doubts you wouldn't have come out on top with pick for Yu on it. Imo you really can't argue with I made a bad trade so I made a trade I won to balance it out. Just the other way around if you abuse a CPU you could make up by giving him a unfair trade on you'r part, which you apparently did when you gave Senet his 1st back, but then you went to get Yu after he got kicked again. That was like trading young Crosby (or Price since Yu is a G) for Panik, Dano, 28th pick and ~88th pick as far as I see it.

Hey! Since I got my hands on a CPU ran team I have plenty of players who I don't need. Pretty much everybody can move except Hujsa, Kaila & Grider (prospect D). I will move them too if I end up relegating or the offer is so good I have to accept it, but mainly trying to move those who are in the tradeblock. Pretty much every prospect is on the move aswell. Grider will need a lot more than others, but he's not my best prospect. In return I'm looking for picks or something that will benefit me in the long run.

Since I changed my tactics and they'r still at the bottom of the red bar... That said I have few quality young players I would like to keep if I had other tactics so if you'r insterested give me a shout or offer!

Do they play that bad? It does make sense, but I haven't noticed. Haven't had many of those, recently, either.

Been there, more than once. Sometimes "fun" that they ain't accepting everything and sometimes frustrating as hell I can only speak for myself, but I try to do trades I could see myself accepting in the other end. I would have answered with those traits, but dunno if it ain't working. I guess you need to play them to have a greater effect than just sign heroic peeps to sit on pench and if you have a lot of nervous etc. players you could need quite a lot of heroic one's?

Can't argue that it wouldn't suck to see you'r own player drop like 10ovr a season, but I guess there's that risk with older guys. It get's riskier as they grow old and it's not like it isn't happening in IRL. Gaborik, Brown, Horcoff, Thornton(?) and whatnot. Every1 ain't necessarily bad player yet, but overpaid atleast. I do have to admit that I'v been trying to avoid 30+ guys like Lepra, but that's not the way to go either. You just have to be careful with them and not commit to a 6y deal when they'r already 36y old. Unless you find GPH Jagr

Nope, been @GHL for few seasons in a row now. I don't know was it my messy message or you'v already brought it to you'r thoughts, but it seemed to me like the cap changed before the day changed. So that there was few hours when the cap had already switched to s9, but it still showed s8d77 on the upper right corner. So it allowed me and Matt (Muffet of Grizzlies @GHL Biscuit) atleast to offer players contracts for s9&s10 cap hits, but it was still s8d77. I guess it got "fixed" at some point, maybe when the day changed to s9. By "fixed" I mean the cap and day was at the same season and bug "gone".

As far as I know it takes a toll on you'r team if you change tactics before the players learn the new system. So if the tactic bar is still red for you'r new tactic they'r gonna play a lot worse than they would if it was familiar tactic. Idk how long it takes, but imo offseason is a good place to start tinkering with you'r tactics. Looking forward to seeing if Rhinos and Oilers can keep their top3 spots when they face some of the more dominant teams in past years in the GHL Minutemen#9 goes against Rhinos#2 and Grizzlies#10 face Oilers#3

Hey! Apparently me and Matt (manager of Grizzlies @GHL, Biscuit) encountered some sort of cap bug. I guess the cap was changed from s8->s9 before the day changed from s8d77->s9d1, but since it was still d77 we could offer contracts that only affected the next years cap, but since the cap was already changed we we're offering the contracts for s10 I guess. But when the day changed to s9d1 I atleast couldn't offer anymore contracts due to -cap so I guess it went back to "normal" and it's just because the cap changed before the day changed. So in short, I was able to offer contracts on d77 that made me go negative cap in next season.

Just in case the worst happens, which I thought was impossible due to GHL&SHL team's difference in skill, there's gonna be sale on day77(?) and everybody apart Mandrykin is available and going for the highest bidder. Wessels going to need some convincing before he moves tho and Mandrykin is also moving if the price is right, but I doubt anybody will want to pay that much It's going to be a long day......

iirc there's a bug regarding drafting, which is being looked into(?). There's also chance that you fucked it up, without chancing draft pref to prefer shortlist over rank, like I did....
