Well, apparently the problem got fixed at season transition. My finances seem correct now.

Same happened to me. I had 400k left in budget for next season. Two players retired and now I have only about 70k... Whaaaat???!?? I never promised them retirement bonuses.

More specific training sounds great. Again something new to look forward to.

Big games and Ambition are the ones I look at first. I try to have a true leader, motivator and role model in leadership for captains. Ego is my last priority because I don't fully understand how it affects the big picture.

Seems to be working now. I just edited my jersey from the away model back to home model as my playoffs are over. It's glitchy as always, but I don't get an error page. And just a reminder of my old suggestion: Please, consider about leaving the jersey editing timer completely off. It's silly and unnecessary, downright stupid timer.

Thanks man. I guess the similarity was quite obvious. Since the name ended up being Flame, and because Calgary has had some of the nicest looking jerseys in the past, I figured it would make sense to use them as an inspiration.

I'd root for limited management options for affiliates, mostly because of the aforementioned securing of TOI for players that are serious prospects for the main team's future. The training aspect is great as well.

I do too. I think the mascots are fine for the most part, but there is definitely need for more of them. There's a plethora of town names and team names, but at least 60% of them are lacking any sort of matching mascot. The new jersey editor is a gigantic leap forward though, so maybe these other little issues are lining to be dealt with at some point.

Okay, so I've been rebranding a lot during this season. First I found the colors I want to have, then I found my old town name from Fishbowl, freed after a manager quit. Now I'm still wishing my old team name would become available, but maybe it was removed being "Wings". So now I'm Pixley Flame, which sounds pretty nice. Hopefully it's the final incarnation and lasts through seasons to come. Reposting jerseys. Like I declared earlier, Pixley is playing playoffs using away jerseys. They go in order of Home -> Away -> 3rd special.

I like both, the away and 3rd. Great job overall.

Fighting is less and less essential in hockey, so no thanks to this kind of feature. Got injury problems quite enough as it is. It has never been a "heart feature" anyway.

Wasn't really sure whether I should start a new thread or not, so here goes. Anyone played around with the editor to create an away jersey for your team as well. While we don't have the option to wear an away jersey "officially" in game— at least not yet, I'm thinking about following the idea of my home town team and play all playoff games wearing away jersey by simply changing the design for the said period just for shits and giggles.

How old are these players it's happening to? I've had players 29 years old and higher starting to decline, which, I believe, is how it's done now. Players reach their peak around 28, but majority of development happens from 17 to 21. After this improvement slows down significantly. The good side, you know fairly well at the moment of signing what you're getting. The bad side, not much excitement during the season for prime players (25 years +/- 3) With hard training, I've also had it happen where 30 years old player has declined one OA, then gained it back a month later.

I know currently the timer to edit your jersey is disabled, but I've also spotted some comments that suggest it coming back eventually. My suggestion is very small and simple. Could you leave it disabled? It's one of my favorite pastimes to tweak the shirt while waiting for the game simulation to complete. I've never quite understood the 30 days timer. If there's a valid reasoning behind having it, then just ignore this part of the post. While on topic, is it possible to re-introduce the affiliate team editing without allocating too much valuable resources to it?

Halfway mark of the season. Things are improving. I may have a chance for a playoff spot, which is scary. 8-1-0-1 at the moment. If I make it I will sweep you all fancies in GHL. Mark my words.

I've been wondering if this is working as intended as well. I thought the idea was to make growing your own players slightly easier and less cumbersome task. Only thing I've seen happening is earlier decline of veteran players that can hardly be even called veteran yet (had declines on 29 years old players).

I'd love coaches for sure. Better training anything would be cool as hell.

This has been suggested and it gained quite some favor. The idea was to display jerseys in game previews and reports. This also spawned discussion about away jersey, so the teams would actually show their appropriate jersey whether they're the home team or a visitor. I'm sure it was buried at this point because of time limit. 2.0 had to be pushed out rather fast. I hope, however, that in the not so distant future we'd see this.

Ohh.. didn't notice this thread here for a while. GHL: Deferiet Leopards (clean and distinctive jersey), Brass Castle Berzerkers and Missisauga Stealheads (both nice and easy to recognize) SHL: Crabtree Defenders, Rocky Mountain House Owls (I don't mind bright if it's just stylish enough) BHL: Summertown Sixpack (just because it's funny, yet kinda cool), Cape Girardeau Legends (Crisp and nice) CHL: Finnegan Serpents (One of the few ones where highlight works better than shadow), Dustin White Devils (Cool in its simplicity) IHL: Butte City Battlers (This league has more meh shirts than any other.. not sure if it's the high amount of computer managers maybe... didn't really check) LIHL: Fillmore Hillcats, Camden Nighthawks, Torrington Thunderbolts, Ripon Scorpions (nicely distinctive color scheme and easily recognizable), Gravenhurst Hounds (the cool is here), Natashquan Assassins (just like this one for some reason), Goldville Knights (really nice and neat jersey), Harrow Lynx (simply because I think I know where the idea of this shirt comes from), Some people like brighter, some darker and some in between.. I was looking at the jerseys and trying to think would I recognize one later. This is kind of moot as well since you tend to remember your worst/best rivalries in any case. A lot of very nice ones, but also a lot of jerseys that I think the manager just didn't care enough to put in the effort. EDIT: I'm not big on New York Rangers, but as Matt pointed out on chat, the color scheme is not really widely represented, so I decided to run with it while it's still early. If the away jersey ever sees daylight, and I'm going to bug Anders about it until it does, I think using white base color with red highlights spiced with blue numbers and collar will fit quite nicely. Edit 2: ET2018, your jersey looks good, but it doesn't really make me go ooooh wow! My hometown team used grey jerseys at one point and it's just really doesn't kick me as a main color. I'm just one opinion though. It's very clean and crisp, so if I learn to hate your team enough, I'm sure it's as great of a color choice as any. Edit 3: Pullman T-Birds, I got you marked as an all time enemy. You took my old logo before I got here! Can't wait to meet you on ice. Fairplay tactic = ridiculously and overly violent!

I get it, no worries. It's just irritating for the user to find things just suddenly changed and causes some confusion about what else might have changed, and so the spiral of panic is ready to begin. Thank you for the fast reaction.

Lately, I've noticed multiple "stealth patches". An update happens with clear improvements to the interface, yet it's not mentioned anywhere. I'd like to see the changelog brought back to life with information given what has been done. This should be a far higher priority now than ever since everybody is paying to play.

I was understanding that player development should be in better shape now, actually allowing you to grow your own stars. Anything else would be just a giant step backwards since that's what most teams will have to do in real world as well. I'm very curious to see how that works, but yes, it's very rare to see OA 70 guy in LIHL.
