Mostly they can't. I know from own experience. I had a half of the team on promotion contracts to have enough quality to be able win promotion. So they weren't on "lower league level contract" next season....

What about next season cap? Maybe You have some extensions for next year so You could be over then.

Your issue will brobably depend on PP or PK settings. I mean that guy You were mentioning is for sure at power play or penalty killing line. Try to check this out...

All depends on what do You expect or want from this season... If You want to get promoted, leave things how they are. If You're reconcile with lower league, make trades with higher league teams. Your guys with high contracts for youngsters...

I'm against changing already existing world into NA base, but I'm all in for the next new world to be like NHL. I'm in SHL and I don't want to become just someone's farm team...

If You have that much injuries in the same time, something wrong should be with training... Overtrained player -> tired player -> player proned to injuries. I'm not basically throwing this idea into the nothingness... But I'll suggest tool to just swich injured player for someone from farm team, if his full contract fits under the contract of injured player. I don't like the decreasing injured players' contract part...

Sure, but it's still on You to count with chance of injuries and to have options to work with that. I'm trying to always have space for signing one decent guy at my league standard. So I'm sure I can recall everyone in any time. This seems to me like it's more/less just GHL teams problem. No doubts, with contracts about 2M for decent guy. On the other hand You also have cap that high I can't imagine. I'm newbie in SHL in two worlds so I don't know how are things going in GHLs but I never had such an issue You're describing. For Gods sake, You're worldclass in Biscuit and You have problems managing a budget? No offense, I'm just trying to push discusion. I'm rather standing for roster limit and maybe some kind of waiver system, that will lead to space under cap. I see this injury list like tool to "facilitate" playing and to outsmart the game. Injuries were, are and will be. And again, we're at the point that space You have under cap depend on You.

I get promotion via play offs, so I believe in stying in SHL without any problems....

But it's totally your fault, that You have no space under cap...

Hi, I have a small "cosmetic" modification. It hurts my czech heart when I browse in Czech league and see some germanlike city names. Just 4 from 9 teams in first tier looks like czechs. In second tier It looks better but I volunte myself to think out some small towns and villages (within the gameplan set trend, which is reasonable and nice) where could be hockey teams. I think in other European leagues it's simillar too. And I'm sure someone will do it even for them. Also if there is a British, Italian, French and Austrian league, so there could be a Slovakian too. I know their importance was almost totaly decreased via affiliated teams but I said at start; it's just cosmetic change.

Hi another little suggestion about injuries. Why we get message just about recover of affiliated players? I don't know he's injured till I get report obout recovery. There could be message of injury just like for regular team player.

Hi, there could be option to write message while rejecting trade offer. Or there should be more options. The answers when you're rejecting offer are so banal, too general and you have just few choices. It'll give us little bit more chance to continue with negotiation. And It's easier than write personal message.

I'll try to win promotion to SHL this time. Last season I ended 3rd and SHLer (computer) was over my limits.

I'd suggest it could be more specific. I mean total limit for each position, I saw team with seven or eight equal goaltenders... So I think about max limit 3-4 goalies, 14-15 Dmen, 15-16 wings and 8-10 centers. Speaking of 40-45 limit Or count centers plus wingers totaly as one number. That will bring balance to all of ours squads. Cause someone is hoarding mostly wingers, for example me. And then we could decrese salary cap as well. Another idea that hit me in the head while writing this post is that you could send prospects to lower affiliate team without signing contract at first. So he will not be counted to roster limit until he have played game at higer affiliate or frirst team. Like testing if he has potential. In Dangles is the problem that there are not many players so you can't search and chose, but we must quickly take what is avaible now. And this lead us to hoarding. There will be huge salary cap decrease the best solution for few first seasons.

Disable trading with computers make harder to strengthen up our squads. So I'm definitely for it. But maybe there could be only one trade per season per computer team... If stays as It's now, I'm fine.

Fangowolf: I don't understand the main goal of your post. In my experience, mostly from Howitzer, teams in lower leagues have a lot to offer. I traded lots of players from IHL to myself and almost everyone became stable part of my roster or for others BHLers. And also in lower league You can nicely develop guys which at firs look doesn't seems good enough but have good traits and shining future. And not everyone develop drastically when young. There are nice players around thirty developing like eighteen years youngsters. This game is based on spending lot of time by analysing, trying and making mistakes and trying and falling and trying. No shortcuts.
