Because I mentioned names here once and got everything fired back. About Yu, I was waiting for someone to mention this trade. When Senet asked me his first round pick back we settled things straight. I even gave him more before I traded for the pick. The trade with Yu (his 1st round pick) was more than fair. I gave up a lot to get Yu and I think in the end with that first trade for the 1st round pick and the trade for Yu, it was an unbalanced trade for me.

Anders, any idea if there will be some changes for this issue or will it be for the rest of the season?

Some unbalanced trades are going on the last week or so. Not naming anybody, but if it was me I'm pretty sure the forum would explode again... Just making something clear...

Taking the CPU team at a good moment indeed. Knights are really strong this season.

Hi everyone, This topic is created to talk about season 9 in GW Biscuit. Post your experiences, predictions, and everything you want to share about this season. After 2 days in GHL there are 2 teams unbeaten: Scandinavia Skyhawks and Moapa Valley Gothic Knights. CPU team Collegeville Rhinos is currently in 3rd place with 1W and 1OTW. Will the Rhinos stay in the GHL? Today is the 3rd game of the season and there are some very interesting games coming up. I'm looking forward to these games: Minutemen - Trojans Grizzlies - Protons Volcano - Rhinos Minutemen, Trojans, Grizzlies and Protons are all top teams that have been in the playoffs almost every year now. Volcano is currently in a 2 game losing streak and needs those points at home against CPU team Rhinos. To be continued!

How about reverse the last players you signed and put them back in FA? For example Villasenor and Dubov, so you're team has a healthy cap space and its fair for the rest of the league.

I'm with Nicolas. I highly doubt that the system is taking this in consideration. Tired or unhappy players are still playing at the same level as well, don't know if this changed with the update but I haven't seen it.

New season and new changes. I am looking to move 2 top players from my squad as I need to think about my cap space in long term. Curtis Luck - Center - 87 OVR Curtis is a top center and can be used as a Playmaker, Two Way or Powerforward. He still has 2 seasons remaining on his contract but he feels unhappy with his current role in my team. Last season he had his best season so far (60GP - 18G + 34A = 52P) and he can still do better. At age 27 his prime years or still ahead of him. He is a true FO specialist (97) and is well reputated. Tom Montmarquette - Defender - 84 OVR Tom is a top right handed defender and is a true role model. He is a star in the league and can play as a Two Way or Stay At Home defender. Tom was my first captain and is a top player in the league. He has played 393 GHL games and has a dazzling 283 points. He already has the most points by a defensemen in the league twice and he just turned 30. I'm looking for a right handed defender, center or forward. That is the order of importancy for me (Right handed D, Center, Forward). Draft picks can interest me as well. Feel free to make an offer.

@Nicolas: I absolutely have no problems with our trade. Like I told you via PM, it's not about the draft pick but more about other managers not caring about (abusive) trades or not taking any actions. Anyway we got this sorted and I'm happy for you. Cheers!

You're right about the naming and shaming, I'll admit. However I still think other methods are not helping. This game needs some guidelines and further actions taken.

That's because I care about this game. And let's be honest the 'reporting a cheater -button' does not work as it should otherwise we would have seen more managers getting banned and Reggie would have been banned sooner. I report here because otherwise nothing gets done anyway, the community is far from active as we all know. But from now on I'll just avoid the reporting and let it go. I guess everyone can do what he wants because this clearly does not work.

The problem with our community is the lack of sharing and activity in general. It seems like everyone just wants to build in silence on their own team. Im guilty as well. I would love to have a more active community with some game topics, player topics,... Regarding to my trade I want to start by saying it was not my intention to abuse the CPU in the first place. I do think it's funny that some managers make abusive trades several times and almost no one notices. I have made a dodgy trade and this place is on fire... I want to be fair and plan to trade my rookie Candelario (18y, 80 OVR) + my 16th pick this draft + first round GHL pick next season for the 3rd round GHL pick from the Rhinos.

I'm not saying Anders needs to reverse but I know bouncer is not doing anything about it as well. And this is not only about bouncer, there are other managers as well. Like I said before, I dropped my pants several times with human managers and CPU to get players that I wanted. I'm an easy negotiator and I think others can confirm this. I traded one of my best defenders this season (91 OVR and 24 yrs old) + a 3rd round GHL pick for an 18 year old rookie (80 OVR). That's a big gamble and I made other trades like that. As long as there are no clear rules or limitations this will always be a dodgy topic. Maybe my last trade was unfair but it doesn't add up to all the rest (other managers abusing several times and all my trades ever done).

@rainsilent: I'm not planning to do what you suggested. If you believe this is a bad trade, this is my first then. Look at all my other trades with human managers and even CPU. In some of them I dropped my pants to get some quality in my team and I came a long way in the 7 seasons. I'm pretty sure no one in GPHM can say they have never done a bad trade. Heck, some of them build a team with bad trades and I don't see them doing anything about it. I don't see why I should in this case as I'm pretty sure I will have to drop my pants again in the next trade.

I respect you as a manager but not the choices you made. That's why I'm replying to your comments, not to some others (well actually one) that are here just to troll and love the attention. You know that OVR does not mean one player is better than the other. It all depends on their skillset. Erwann Hare, for example, is the best of the three for now and went 110th overall. It's like in the real NHL, there are some hidden gems in later rounds. I actually believe Hare can be a decent GHL player. The first was indeed the weakest draft class but that does not mean those players are garbage. It's too soon to tell at this point and 2 of the 3 players were defenders, one right handed. We all know how hard it is to find defenders, especially right handed. When I made the trade my board wouldn't allow it when I had Enander, Mainella + 2nd round draft pick and I even added Hare. Would I accept the trade? Maybe not, but even if Rhinos doesn't use the 3 players, they can still use them as trade bait and even have a 2nd round GHL pick as well. Every trade is different and you can't make it even in any way. As long as it's not massive abusive every time. If you look at my trades I have done with CPU and human managers, I gave up more than received. So if there is this 1 trade that is a maybe borderline for you...ask yourself is it really worth it to analyze about every trade everyone is going to make? As long as it's not repeatedly abusive like some other have done in the past.

I would like to explain it to you but it doesn't matter as you clearly don't get the point. You talk about the picks and lottery like you know how it goes. This argument is pointless. End of story.

@bouncer: You really have some balls to explain what is right and what is wrong about cpu abusive trades. Of all people playing this game you are one of the worst when it comes to abusing the CPU. You are the reason this argument even started in the first place. Check the GHL since you did your thing... Dominating everything and with ease and all because you abused the CPU over and over again. If I was you I would have started all over and play it like it should but no you just kept going. So by all means, you are the last person to judge anyone when it comes to this topic. And the trade itself, yes I got lucky with the 2nd overall pick. It could have been a 5th overall and my 2nd round could have been higher as well. It's been two seasons in a row I got unlucky with my picks and got lower when expected. This is how it goes. The players in the trade are not bad at all and I gave 3 overall decent young players. They are 2nd/3rd round players in the first year. Is the quality this year better then the first year? Absolutely! Is this my fault? I hardly think so.
