Thanks for the morale support! It's just frustrating when things don't go the way you would like. I missed my start and obviously have bad luck with injuries so far. Let's hope things will turn around.

Worst start of a season ever. Already lost my best D in a preseason game for 18 days(Bramble, 95 OVR). In game 6 I lost my 2nd best forward for 4 days (Javorsky, 91 OVR). Now, after 3 consecutive losses my best center is injured for 20 days (Olli, 90 OVR). This is really unbelievable, I guess RNG is screwing my team over again. Anyway, if I end up in SHL, I'm probably going to quit. Or maybe this is just the frustration talking.

Makes sense, that's unlucky. I'm not offering him a contract as I would expect the same if it happened to me. Don't do anything you could get back to you, I would say. Unfortunately there is already 1 manager that offered him a contract. I'm not surprised though...

You have a point. Although I think that playing dirty increases the odds of injuring players.

Since Bramble did not finish the preseason game, I'm pretty sure he was injured in the game. Wouldn't you think? And yes I meant restricted.

Well, ever since I started playing those games my season is starting better then when I didn't play preseason games. But if players get injured for a long time, it's not worth the risk. I agree.

The injury has nothing to do with the opponent playing in SHL. And I'm not only playing SHL teams. I switch between both leagues. That being said, a lot of teams try to get confidence boost by playing teams from lower leagues. I think this gameworld or GPHM in general has bigger issues to handle to be honest.

After reading the game analysis it makes sense: "They played a balanced game but tried to get under our skin with foul play and played a passing type of play but secures defence." How about dirty and foul play is unrestricted in silly season? That would be a good idea.

Waivers is a good idea. We should start doing that and see how it goes. I believe this will solve a lot of issues lower leagues have at the moment.

I agree rainsilent. I know you are making an example regarding Sharp, but any team that could use him is free to make an offer. Only my prospects matter for my affiliate teams.

I agree for the most part. We need a bigger community and new people that want to commit. But do you think rewarding lower leagues and new managers is the way to keep them? Maybe in the beginning. It might also be a bad signal to those managers that have been struggling for over a year to get where they are now. Just my two cents.

Like I said, this will settle over time and eventually every other league will reap the same benefits. This is just the beginning and people are already looking to nerf one of the best features this game has. I have never said something about keeping their GHL place. My point was that people in GHL have usually been in the game for a long time and some of them have been struggling as well. So it doesn't mean that you have to change something for the good of the lower leagues. This should not be a walk in the park for any league or manager. Give it some time before trying to change something.

I signed a few players that could go and play in the SHL/BHL. But almost my entire affiliate team is made of prospects and substitute players from previous season. Setting a limit on the amount of players sending to the affiliate teams is a bad idea. These affiliate teams are a gift to GPHM, for every league and every team. Now we can control our prospects we drafted and make the most out of it. So putting a cap on the amount is terrible. I admit the GHL has more benefits at the moment than any other league. The rest will follow eventually. But let's be honest, these are the managers that have been playing this game for a longer time. They have earned their spot in the highest league trough many seasons, most of them.

How about if you pick a team you have to manage it for at least one season to apply for another team?

Hi everyone, Just a minor suggestion. How about a cooldown period for managers that want to change teams? For instance manager X taking control over team A, 10 days later when team B is available he/she wants to take control over team B. Maybe because that team is in a higher league or has better players or whatsoever. I have seen this happen a couple of times with the same manager. Don't get me wrong, I like the addition of extra managers but I think it would be better if there is a cooldown period for changing teams. This way we give everyone else the chance to change teams and avoid teams getting badly managed or making it a mess. Cheers, K

Thanks guys, had a strange regular season and a lot of injuries but in the PO they stood up. Strong draft this year and looking forward to next season, good luck everyone.

Amazed by the draft order again. Every year it's the same. My team is always getting the bad RNG in the draft. Luckily I traded with Wolf Pack for a higher pick or I would be getting my annual 16th pick, even though I'm not in first place. Oh the irony, even the pick I got from Wolf pack is 2 places lower than expected... And here I am thinking the draft order is random. Although I see almost the same teams getting higher picks as expected every year. /Stop the salt.

I was waiting for someone to mention it because as soon as there's a trade with the CPU everyone seems to be on top of it or has an opinion. And don't get me started about "I'm fair here and there"... Everyone else is guilty as well and we don't need hypocrysm. And that's all I have to say and will say about it.
