Congrats to everyone making the playoffs/promoting in Biscuit. For all the other teams, there is always next season. Well done to Breakouts for giving me the biggest home loss of the season. My team had an off day but Breakouts played it perfectly.

@ncik: I'm not a believer of the nervous traits or traits in general. I think they have too less of an impact. I would want to see that changed because I believe traits are equally important than skills. Look at it in real life, if you have all the skill in the world but if the mentality is bad, it will have consequences. Where traits now in GPHM don't have that impact. In Biscuit for example, the last 2 winners of the cup was the same team. They won with 12-13 anxious/nervous players, with 7-8 nervous players. So much for the big game trait.

It's not only those kind of players. The offers are ridiculous every season and you see GHL teams packed with top players in affiliate teams. As long as nothing happens this will continue. And it's not only this issue that's ruining the game, but it's a start.

Please enlighten us all and explain which managers and which trades. Because you clearly can't give any examples and just keep talking trash. I have rarely seen you so active on the forum. Makes me wonder why you have the need to be the internet hero. Is it because you like to accuse people or just out of jealousy? Because all I see is bashing and trash talking about one CPU trade so far. If you like Betts so much, like I said offer me the same and I'm happy to accept. So far I didn't receive any offers, although I've received 3 mails of cheating. So your big news show got 2 other managers on your boat. Well done, I hope you're happy with ruining the game for other people. Maybe it's because I have a big mouth as well or have a good team? I don't know, but I'm too old for this. It's your opinion about the trade, no need for all the attention. As said, this is what's wrong with the community.

Every manager is free to make a trade with the CPU. I don't see anything wrong with that as it's still possible. Do I like it, no. But that's another debate. If human managers ask too much or are not willing to trade, then CPU trading is an option. As for Betts, I highly doubt him being the best goalie in Biscuit. There are younger and far better than him. Look around please. Also Betts is one of those young players I have that haven't gained a skill point this entire season. I'm not talking about OVR, but skillpoint. Not one in 19 days. So he's not really that good as you think. And it's not only the 1st round pick, also the 3rd and 2 prospects. One of the prospects will be active in GHL for sure. Maybe not this season but he will be. So the offer was really not that bad, as said this is subjective. But feel free to offer the same amount and I'm happy to accept. That being said this topic is the best example what is wrong with the community, unfortunately...

What a joke... Please show me season after season "abusive" trades I did... I don't need to do shady trades as I'm playing for 12 seasons in GHL and built something from the start. It's easy to accuse people nowadays. Very sad this...

Still didn't answer my question though... Anyway please explain where I "cheated" in these times when trading with CPU is way harder then it ever was. Which is a good thing. And I explain myself because I hate people talking bad to ruin the reputation. If you feel happy with yourself and this topic, good. I hope you sleep better.

Although I like all the attention when I make a trade, this topic is clearly another attack against me. If you look closely in every level, there are trades with the CPU. Unfair or fair is subjective as every manager will say otherwise. Regarding the Betts trade I explained it in the chat. Honestly I don't even know why I should explain myself. This is a solid trade and it was unbalanced on my part. I talked with several managers about it, some say I won but others said I gave too much. It's pathetic to see that this trade is again the center of attention as there have been many before and there will be many after as long as you can trade with CPU. And if you want to attack me as a player and saying I made other unfair trades and abused the system, please give examples and say which cheat I used. Very sad topic and should be removed in my opinion.

New season and a new trade topic. I'm going to start with a player that doesn't need to leave but when the right offer comes he can be traded. At the moment he will be used as a supersub. Gary Descotes - Forward - 86 OVR - 30 years Gary is a perfect fit for a two way-line and he's very versatile and well reputated. His traits and skills are very good and he never missed a game in the last 7 seasons. He still has 4 years on his contract for 1,85M. As said he doesn't need to leave as he can still serve as a supersub for me. I'm looking for a prospect and/or pick here.

@rainsilent: I was one of the first to congratulate Marauders with the cup and if he beats the best 3 teams, he deserves it. Hanrahan didn't do it by himself, but he was the best man for sure. Don't forget Hanrahan robbed a game against you as well. I think the previous patch had some flaws regarding scoring as well.

And nervous, which apparently has little to no effect. Even in the playoffs.

So the traits are fine and don't have a small role. Less then 2 hours later the traits have a bit too small of an impact. I can't follow your explanation on this one. How much I like your replies of 10 pages, which I honestly appreciate, you are talking against yourself on this one. I tend to disagree. Sports games in general have some RNG but it shouldn't dominate the game as this takes a lot of fun away. What's the point of skills, tactics and traits if its complete RNG? If I want to play some RNG game, I will play Hearthstone. I agree. That's why it would be nice to get some feedback about stats and numbers in general. Right now it's just guessing and trying things out without knowing the consequences. I don't want to know everything but some extra feedback woud be welcome. I like stats and numbers, what can I say? More like 90/10 if you ask me. I'm sure bouncer wil win it and he deserves it after this season. I'm not mad about the results, just dissapointed. I just wanted some feedback about the traits and work on my bad points. So to work on that I wanted some clarifications. Especially after this terrible season I had. I'm completely fine with that. As I said I just want to understand some aspects better and work on them. No need to be personal here if you can't handle the criticism. We are all here to learn the game better and help each other. I can't completely agree on this one. There are a lot of pro players that have enormous talent but due to their character (traits) they thrown away their career and can't handle the pressure or don't have the right mindset. So I believe it's a combination of both. You can have a player with an amazing mindset but lacks talent, still he could play on a top team/line. That's how it goes in real life as well. In general I still believe traits should play a bigger role as of now.

And yet I believe nervous is not that big of a deal if I see the stats so far. That's why I'm interested in numbers and percentages generated by the game engine. I would like to know the backbone of this and have some direct intel. In my opinion it's too much RNG due to the traits not being that important. I have seen and experienced this in different ways and I'm absolutely not a fan of RNG, for me it's a game-killer. You can have some and every game will have some but not a lot.

Thanks for the reactions so far. I tend to believe it's that way in theory as well. But I've been playing this game for over 2 years and Ive seen it otherwise. That's why I would like to see numbers and stats about this. As I believe RNG is really affecting this game too much and traits are not that important as we think.
