AlexanderRasputin reacted to EXXEO in CPU “smart” Trade Offers
It would be nice to have the Computer GMs actually offer something in a trade that matches your transfer needs. For instance: I only have prospects up as my trade needs but I keep getting offers for really old guys that have bad contracts and are declining faster than a plane in a nose dive. I’m asking for prospects to circumvent some cap issues but am getting offers that put me in the red further. This also makes those offers pointless.

Figured it would be comical tracking down how many injuries happen in the Seasons...only tracking Major Team happenings, not minors.

AlexanderRasputin reacted to EXXEO in Team Confidence
Back to the drawing boards on this subject. I have not changed my tactics at all since the beginning of the season (for both Buzzer and Cage) but Buzzer’s Team Confidence seems to be going down in flames now.
My 3rd place Cage Team is going Good in the Confidence department but my 2nd place Buzzer, IHL team has been strggling with confidence for the last few weeks. Ironically enough, my team has been utterly destroyed by injuries of late and I put at least one-two players on the IR a week. This week I once more have 2 on the IR along with my top defensemen going down for the rest of the season - would this impact my team’s confidence?
Last point - the 1st place Team in my conference, in Buzzer, has Great confidence - what separates 1st at Great confidence, 2nd at Uncertain, and 3rd at Crisis?
Do we have any insight on this @Anders & Tobias?

Welp, the biggest issue I suppose is my starter getting injured for 17 days. And my backup... at this point I can only assume he has misunderstood the term "goaltending" as guiding pucks into his own net.
Even still, I feel I'm having a streak of bad luck on top of that. After the injury, riding the backup, the team has gone 2-0-4-9. Wright is a big factor in the team, sure, but there should be enough quality in the team to pull off a (much) better record than that even when he's out.
But I still have my mind set on another cup run - will be all the more satisfying after climbing from the bottom of the standings.

Thanks for reporting!
This is an issue we are aware of. This is from the old game we’re we only had one conference. We will of course sort it but it’s alittle bigger bug to solve.
We will announce when it’s fixed.
AlexanderRasputin reacted to Erzac in Season 2 General Chat
Cats are having the worst cup hangover, playoff MVP Wright decided to extend his summer vacation by 17 days, and the offense is unable to put together more than two goals per game.
Oh well, maybe it's just a page out of St.Louis' playbook on how to handle the regular season.
AlexanderRasputin reacted to rainsilent in My thoughts on endurance
Endurance makes a slight difference with goalies. If the goalie has roughly 60 or lower endurance they can go 2-3 games before they get blue tired. A goalie with 99 endurance may be able to stretch to 5-6 games. That said the number of shots faced should make a difference. It makes sense that a goalie facing 40+ shots would be more tired after a game than one facing 20.
That said in regards to goalies playing x number of games before getting tired I would go to and think about using the playoffs as a basis. Most goalies should be able to do 3 games at least correct? However, 5 is quite a bit. That is comparable to 4 and 7 of the NHL. That said I know a number of you are thinking about the fact that you see starters play every single playoff game. 2 things I need to point out. First, real-life teams aren't playing all of their games back to back to back endlessly. There are days in between for rest. For playability and enjoyment reasons I don't think adding in those extra days of rest is a good idea. Second, a long playoff run is very taxing on the starting goalie if every series goes 6 or 7 by all accounts. I would argue that is pretty well represented in the game.
All of this said I would still make a relatively small tweak to goalie endurance. I think the lower end of the scale is fine for goalie endurance. I think a 99 endurance goalie should be able to stretch it out a game or two more.

I guess a nod to Jon Snow / The Starks - during this process I changed the Black Flag to the Blackbirds (crow) but there were no real good looking crow mascots so I opted to keep the Black Flag. The Wolf is also associated with that but I would have loved to have named the team the Ghosts or Dire Wolves but Arctic Wolves is close enough
As a side note: Articwolves is misspelled and should be two words: Arctic Wolves ...good thing we survive with brawn, not brains up in the north - ha!

As of right now, everyone!
My favorites this season would be Union, Cats & Tide out of the East - and Hawks, Prairie & Ricochet out of the West.
Don't let the power rankings deceive you, the Def Leppards have some internal struggles we are dealing with (both tactically and personnel-wise). We may or may not turn it around by end of season.
Dark horse: Enigma Rage.
