    I have not seen a performance hit between forward positions, at least from what I can tell it's not a noticeable one.

     

    Playing a D-man as a forward may be a different story, although if he is an offensive defenseman, he may be serviceable up front.  Likewise for a forward playing D, if he has a good defensive rating, he my be adequate.

    Found one issue already :)

     

    Initial Prospect Rankings just came out in Mitts3, so I went to the Prospect Rankings page.

     

    Whenever I click "Go to the player page" I get the "This can't be good" message.  This happens with every prospect I select, no matter where they are ranked, 1st-276th.

    I like the idea as it adds a symbol of realism to the game.

     

    It could come back to haunt you though. :)  For example, you sign a top-notch center, saying he will see 1st Line action, but he under-performs and you drop him down to the 3rd Line.  That, too, is realistic!

    Seriously though, I remember having a topic about this before, and a lot of people liked the idea, but it may take a while to implement functionality wise.  I'm all for the idea, but I have a feeling it's not on the top of Anders' list.  I'd say stick a pin in it for now. :)

    Bear in mind, GPHM is still in a beta phase.  I have not seen any marketing of the game (correct me if I'm wrong), and I imagine marketing won't happen until after the beta is ironed out to a full release.

     

    I got lucky and stumbled upon GPHM through a Google search for "online manager hockey game."

     

    Right now, people are finding out about GPHM through searches (like me) and word of mouth.  So, if you to fill up Howitzer with humans, tell your family, friends, colleagues, whoever! :)
