    I really thought this was the season to break apart.... after 20 games you were in 2nd I was barely fighting off relegation places with 3 reg wins.  Fate!  

     

    I guess one of us should stack our teams and just let the other team ride the coat tails :)

    I can’t believe I lost my first game of the playoff. If I lose this playofff when I am in the dominant position I swear to god I am going to rage quit! I constantly got screwed while the shl team but could except that because I was the slightly weaker team..... now I finally get up the roles are reversed and still manage to lose at home the first game. Ughhhhh

    Forgetting to mention too many Heroic or Harmony guys actually make it worse I think.  A team full of hero's will start stepping all over eachother when push comes to shove.  I think there needs to be a balance for a perfect winners instinct, something like teamwork.

    On another manager game I play adding custom logos is nice, but you get some very low quality uploads by some people that really takes away from the aesthetics of the game (consider a logo on a jersey with a white rectangular background on it).

     

    I'm curious where the logos were licensed from. I saw some from this game on Shutterstock and if you buy a license to the images on Shutterstock they are yours to use for life (as confirmed by email by Shutterstock staff). It'd be a pricey alternative, but it'd be a one-time expense.

     

    I can see the benefit to something like this, I could even pitch a little in for the greater good of the game if need be.

    Might have to have someone looking through every new image.... that is likely not something Anders would remotely have time for  either.  As nice as it might be I can see how it would be unpleasant.

     

    Anybody here a super talented artist and want to make like 300 logos :)

    I thought I would post this just to give a thought.

     

    How hard would it be to allow us to upload our own, or to just have a default.  I used to play a soccer game that just had a generic badge until the person uploaded a simple bmp, png, etc etc.

     

    Could be small as you like for space as storage might be an issue.  Could be a simple solution if this is going to be a continual issue.

    I don’t even really want an overall. I want a ranking and the stats they have for the league they are in and that is it.

     

    My idea is based on time scouted. You could have a quick scout which takes 1 day and get a general feel for him. Maybe they will say his skating, puck handling and shooting would be exceptional for your league but he will always be lacking in defense. Then when you look at him you would see random ranges for each ability that would be -/+ 15 or even just the words as well as a potential generalization like rising star, promising etc.

     

    Normal scout would take 2 days and give you attributes within a closer range like -/+ 10. If would give you a more accurate reading of his potential and maybe point some things out like he seemed to always find a open player or he excelled at the physical side of the game giving you better ideas of potential roles.

     

    Final one is a deep scout. I still like margin for error so plus or minus 5 for attributes and includes an interview that would indicate mental abilities. Or heck maybe the interview stage could be something on a certain day in the off season where you select so many players you want to interview.

     

    Of course if you deep scout everyone you won’t get as many reports and might miss someone but will have a good idea if he is a star. If you do smaller scouts you will have more data but less accurate. Adds more decisions in the game and makes the draft more lively. N

     

    Now I have no idea what it would take to happen... but think it is something I would like to see.

    There are actually a lot of people who put the time and aggravation into deep scouting.  I do think having a little bit of work is what makes you earn your keep a little, so am on the fence whether I am a fan of it or not.  Just like scouting in free agents, you have to go look at each player in detail and if you are willing to do the work you have an advantage.  

     

    Saying this the I can see where your idea has merit, not sure which side of the fence I am on with it though is all.

    On a different note.  This season has been fun in GHL!  

     

    Still think I will be lucky to survive even with current position but enjoy the thrill!  Now if I could just manage to beat Exxeo somehow!  Game yesterday was close in score but really wasn't in gameplay... my keeper saved me a bit.

    I've never personally hear of an inner sanctum of GPHM masons that have access to secret constructs outside of those building the game. Am I missing something?

     

    Of course there is no inner circle.... Haradrim you just stay right there we are going to bring you a surprise!

     

    I fully expect St. Louis Topcats to have a new manager by morning...... :)

    It is really scary Exxeo!  One win I could we could be in the playoffs one loss and we could be bordering relegation right now.  

     

    I can't say enough how awesome this season is shaping up!

    Alright, I feel I need to improve my GHL team and am willing to let my picks go to bring in some building blocks to help me grow my team for seasons to come.  Will want someone worth giving up a potential star in the future for.

     

    My first pick will likely be good.  I will be near the bottom all season but with the way this season is shaping up I think there is a good chance I could stay up anyway.  With some extra guys this will be a certainty.

    Oh goodness, what a pre-season.  3 wins wasn't what I was expecting!  It doesn't count but does give me a bit of confidence that 12th is within my reach!  Not setting my sights too high that is my goal for this season!

    I have a massive pile of affiliates I need to thin out.  Most would be great players for any BHL team and a few might be good for SHL depth.  To many to list but will link the team.
