  1. Hey guys,

This is for my team in Clapper,  Parkland Paladins in the Silver league.

I can go in and view my trade requests under managers>trade offers but cannot open the individual trade requests or the trades I have sent to others.  When I try to open it, it appears to try opening the window but just shows me it is thinking.  I left it like that for 20 minutes yesterday to test and see if I was just being impatient but it never opened up.

I can confirm my other team's requests work fine in Biscuit. I tried using different devices, browsers and even cache cleaned just to be certain.

    Thanks and let me know,

    Brent

  2. http://www.gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=38696 Jerry Moxey Forward 32 yrs 88 rated

Great mental attributes and a top player for any SHL team.  Would be decent cover or bottom lines in GHL as well.  88 rated and a late bloomer.

http://www.gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=49431 Amos Caufield Defender 25 yrs 86 rated

A good all around defender that I would rather keep I just need to bring down my salaries and have a large selection of younger D men on my team already.

Picks and young forwards or prospects are what I am looking for.  I have ample defenders already and am happy with my keepers overall.  These guys need to move before the end of the season so I will negotiate accordingly.

    Thanks

  3. Alright, I have taken this team over at the season start and am ready to tear it apart.  There are a number of top quality players, a few in their prime and a few very young still but their wages are killing what I am trying to accomplish and feel I want to give this team my own identity.

I will be looking for top quality picks, prospects that I will be able to use or even young players that can grow with my team even if they are a bit out of place in Silver.

Send me offers, or messages.  On my best players I do not want to rush in as I want the best possible deal for my club so please have patience as well.

    Thanks

    Brent

  4. Well obviously your team lacks that veteran presence to deal with such a big injury, time to hire a bunch of old guys.  Don't worry, if you need a spot for young talented players we can probably make room here for them  :)

  5. I still have a number of young players on good contracts in the affiliate that would excel in BHL or as cover in SHL.  This message is more about needs at this moment though.

I feel I am going to struggle this season and am looking for 2-3 top 6 forwards/centers and 1 maybe 2 top or 2nd pair defenders.  My picks I have remaining are available for the right offer.  I feel more priority for the defenders than the forwards honestly but will consider anything that will strengthen my squad a bit.  Shoot me offers if you think you have something for me to look at, however I will be looking at other squads and sending some feelers out as well to see what is available.

    Thanks everyone

  6. I have a number of players in my affiliate that would be great for a Bronze team.  All of them were crucial in my surprising promotion to Silver.  Let me know if you have interest in any and we can negotiate something.

  7. Time to start thinking about next season.  I should be going up to silver, there is a number of people on my team who aren't fitting into my plan up there.  I have set the players I want to keep on the main roster to untouchable and any prospect or player on the affiliate is available.  Shoot me an offer if you see someone you like.

  8. I just got in Dangles signing up for a 2nd team and this team was promoting to Iron.  Sure I could promote if I invest heavily but going to try a different style of team and play than I am used too to try some things.  So I guess learning some new tactics and ideas are the story of this season for me.

  9. You bettttcha! Was a good game Paul, my bottom 6 win the game for us... well and my keeper!  Not pleased about the season ending injury to Mathers though... energy line won't be the same without him.

On a side note, now that my captain is out for the season should I be removing him for the time being or does it matter really?

  10. The upset of Eagles today has made me feel a little more comfortable about our match tomorrow.... not planning on letting my win streak go too easily though :)

I have had a lot of trouble with Swords as well so could very well drop another game... Sonics got me once as well.  I will still just be happy to get to silver without ever winning a league :P

  11. That certainly is true, I have lost so many games this season to teams out of the playoff race.  Has been a nice challenge throughout the season in Bronze.

I had to look back at last season.... geesh you really did get shafted last year lol

  12. Ha, well if we throw history in then I notoriously get 2nd place all the time when being promoted so if I am going up chances are you're winning!  Especially now that you nipped Eagles by one goal.

  13. Sorry for the late reply... I was on vaca for a week.  The Leopards definitely took it to you last week - however we have just commenced our end of season slide out of the top 2 spots.  You have been on a tear since.  We have one more game against each other and I'm thinking it may decide 1st/2nd place in BHL.  Good luck the rest of the way... you have a pretty damn good team, especially for just promoting from IHL.

I appreciate that, still think you got 1st wrapped up and would be just happy beating Eagles tomorrow to slip into 2nd.  I am pretty happy with my team but I am going to have a hell of a time if I do go up.  Pretty much sold my future for the now so will need to start rebuilding some youth into my squads without letting myself slip back down.

  14. I have a few of my top 6 guys from last season in Iron I want to move on.  They would all be decent in Bronze as well on the lower lines I am just moving in a new direction for the style of game i want to play.

Harvey Groff - http://www.gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=34850 Sniper with great puckhandling and shooting and decent defence as well, could be a decent two way player as well.  Great cheap contract and still some term left.

Richard Kriz - http://www.gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=34611  Well rounded with no attributes under 70... Sniper that is fast and has some faceoff skill.

Jennifer Chouinard - http://www.gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=4415  A great playmaker with great passing, skating and with excellent traits.

Oleksandr Krylenko - http://www.gameplanhockey.com/goalie?gpid=3875  A Goalkeeper I actually was planning on keeping as a backup but lucked into a good veteran to rotate with my other young keeper so he is now excess and sitting in the minors.  Could easily be a good starter in Iron or a really solid backup.

I am mainly looking for defensive minded players with skating that can play the bottom lines.  I am also looking to replenish my youth system as I have bled my picks and prospect pool pretty dry for the now but a bit concerned about the future.  Let me know if you have any interest.

  15. Hey Guys,

fortunate enough to be on my way up to Bronze now!  Saying that though there are quite a few work horse players that I don't feel will make the grade in the next level.  Most are middle of the lineup players in Iron or top lines in Lower Iron.  Come check it out and we will see if we can work out a deal.  Team link below
