  1. Hey guys, a school friend and I have decided to start a new hockey account on Instagram. The account is called @puck.talk . We talk about everything NHL, and we do the occasional rankings, re-drafts, and we also take an in depth look at each teams top 3 prospects. We just started a few days ago, and I would love it if you guys could give it a follow and like and comment on the posts. I will guarantee you will enjoy some of our content. Please give it a try, if its for you Great; if not at least we tried to make it entertaining for you!
  2. To add to the question, if the Game Worlds are reset, can the managers that won the Championships get like a little notice on their manager page. I was thinking like right under the experience bar. It could say like: Manager First Name Manager Last Name Manager no. Nationality: Games played: Record: 0-0-0-0 Experience: 1 seasons Championships: 0 Cups (like right here) Reputation: Trading: Neutral And after every Cup win a cup gets added so the hard work a manager has put into the previous seasons doesn't get forgotten. It's just a suggestion. Also, thank you to all the moderators as well as Anders for working soo hard on creating a more competitive and friendly environment as well as upgrading this game so that it can reach its full potential. Very thankful guys, keep up the great work!

  4. Congrats canucks357(Goderich Goblins) on your first Howitzer GHL Championship!
  5. AYY Your team came up clutch and won the second game...and now you are one win away from the Finals!!! Good Luck!
  6. I hate my team. LOL. I thought the year would go great since I got some of my key veterans returning, but all it did was just sink me in 16th early on. It took me 10 games to actually get out of 16th only to be stuck in 15th for 5-8 games. I stayed mediocre for the rest of the season then my team finally woke up but it was too late. I made a playoff push and on the last day of games, I beat my opponent 5-2, which I thought would seal my playoff hopes, but no I lost out the #8 seed to another team that had a goal differential of +4 and I had +3. It was quite disappointing and quite upsetting since this was my second time of not making playoffs in franchise history. I just wanted to share my story...BE Prepared no matter how good you think your team is! Good Luck to all teams in playoffs and everyone BE PREPARED, I WILL BE BACK! lol
  7. I mean I offered a team my GHL first, SHL first, GHL 2nd, an 87 overall dman(21 years old), and a 23 year old 90 overall goalie, and a 28 year old 94 overall goalie for a prospect who is 20 and 96 overall. I believed this trade would go through since the other team is getting relegated so I believe this would give both teams a future since all the guys I offered are signed for 2+ years, and his goalie is on his last year of his ELC and doesn't want to re-sign im presuming.
  8. I agree with ET2018, i would assume you would utilize some common sense when doing the trade and stuff. I don't want to rip too much into you, but I would only forgive you once I see some kind of proof you have improved and will not revert back to cheating. Like you said some managers will take more time forgiving you,but I myself will need you to start by earning back our trust, which will take more time. And proving you won't cheat again is the only way I will be able to forgive you.
  9. So i have been trying to acquire a decent prospect from my team from a computer team. I tried filling all their needs that i saw they needed and what was on their "wants" list. I believe i over payed for one player, but the computer keeps rejecting.I keep upgrading my offer, but they would not accept. So the question of how and when do computer teams accept trade offers has made me curious. Can anyone tell me?
  10. Well Ricky, I also had to deal with similar problems when I first joined the game world back in Howitzer Beta days. It is difficult to learn to play the game fairly although most of it is common sense, without being on forums. I hope you learned your lesson. I suggest going through the forums reading on the rules and how to play fairly. Dont be afraid to ask seasoned veterans like me in Howitzer GHL for any advice or questions you may have. Hopefully many of us dont have to run into you for a bad reason(cheating).
  11. Well it looks like the age factor of the game has caught up to me. I am trading everyone away except Kadura who is untouchable. In return for these high overall players I have, I need atleast 1 prospect(88+ overall and less than 20 years old) and a draft pick. The asking price is steep because these players can make an impact on your team instantly. Any team that cannot afford that price please message me to find out what type of trade we can negotiate. ALL TEAMS MUST message me before offering, if teams don't I will most likely ignore your offer. Thanks and let those messages come in!
  12. I have a guy named "Seb Jett"(43 years old) and he is legit a god. He has dropped a lot from being 94-95 overall, he is now 56 overall but he has been a major factor on my team. I still have him signed to a contract so that he can retire on my team, and so that he can retire a legend(yes my team is the legends and the pun was intended). He's been here since the start of Game World Howitzer. http://gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=24992 8x Cup Champ Career Totals: Regular Season: Games Played: 1172 Goals:433 Assists:646 Points: 1079 +/- : 371 Playoff Stats: Games Played: 138 Goals: 39 Assists: 69 Points: 108 +/- : 38
  13. Well Marque, many people saw my post on Howitzer forums about the GHL trade block and now teams in the GHL and SHL have been contacting me since my posts on there. There are some managers who like using messages so they don't offer some stupid trade and get themselves ignored for a while. I want to keep an open relationship with all managers, but if they don't consult me before an offer for a high rated player, I will just ignore their trade. If they do message me, I'm more inclined to accept the trade because both managers would have a back and forth negotiations going on. Just recently I have had about 3-4 conversations that have gone back and forth more than 5 times about a trade(Gator Raid, John Smith, Alexander Rasputin). I try and have at least one message to every team per season, even if it is to just talk about their team and their success and not a trade offer. I have asked many managers about their opinion on a player and that has helped me with the learning process when I first joined the game and so I want to continue it to more managers if they need any advice or anything like that. And managers like Wick (New Castle-GHL) have really improved communication in the game. He has a poll every season about the league and its players. It's fun to see what other managers think and it opens up your eyes to the possibility of learning something from veteran managers.
  14. In my experience changing the training hasn't done much if the player is a consistent player that gets injured. Go to a player's individual stats and check how many games he has played in each season and based off of that determine if he gets injured or not. like 5-10 games injured is fine like once every 5 seasons or something, but if it's more frequent then I suggest either trading him while he still has value or having a backup to play his role since he will probably get hurt. One thing that has worked for me is changing the tactics. I used to play on hard and players would get injured left right and center, so I decided to to play around with those tactics for one season. For every 20 games, I switched up the tactics each time(one time "Hard", next "Dirty", and so on). From that correlation I determined player injuries had something to do with those tactics. From that experiment, I learned that more injuries occur in "Dirty" tactic, then "Hard", then "Normal", then "Fair", and then "Safe". My team had 0 injuries when playing in Fair and Safe. Hope this helped.
