  2. Royalty: I'm actually going to include this when introducing staff. This is going to be a feature enabled by hiring scouts to the team. Bob: Yes, I would love to include more detailed positions like LW, RW. Don't know when though. In which way the player is handed already makes a slight difference in the game. Specially in the Powerplay. If a player is playing on the left wing and is right handed this player will more likely get better shooting opportunities.
  3. Transfer needs Today I've played around with how to set your transfer needs. It's probably going to be a dialog through the new Action menu at the Transfer page. Needs will be specified by settings preferred position, type of player level and player role.
  4. Thanks Chris. It's sure going to be the biggest challenge yet! I don't expect it to be perfected on the first try but hopefully it will be somewhat realistic.
  5. Bouncer: Yes multiple players might be traded at once. I'm not sure on how to solve the free agent market just yet, but sure you have a good point. But it's not easy to trade three mediocre players for one great player. Hopefully the trade value will be smart enough to prevent bad trades and there is always the issue with salary cap space on the team to fit three new players. Draft is coming and yes draft picks will be tradable Not all players will drop in confidence when put on the trade block, only loyal players that don't handle pressure that well will get a slight decrease
  6. That's a great question Daen00. I've not got that far yet but it's reasonable to think that the players confidence will drop and therefore might affect his game play.
  7. Themattinthehat: Yes, there is going to be a section on the transfer page for the trade block. Managers will also be able to set their transfer needs so other may make appropriate trade requests. Players traded up or down league levels will receive a new salary depending on what clauses they have in their current contract. It will work exactly as if the player's team had been relegated. And players with a "release on relegation" won't be allowed in trades moving the downwards. That means that all other players will get their salary recalculated against the new league cap. Royalty: The one-way clause would still allow the player to be traded within the same league level or even upwards. It will just prevent the player from downgraded a league level as the old clause would if his team should have been relegated. But a no-trade clause should actually be a great addition.   8. Player trade value The player trade value will hint managers of the players value in a trade. The value displayed on the player page is not an exact value, this will be hidden. The trade value will look at both player ratings, traits, age, size, role fittings, contract situation and much more. It's designed to help managers composing trade offers and prevent unfair trades. Trade availabiltiy As default players trade availability will be Unknown. But managers will be able to set this to Untouchable or Trade block. Untouchable players will not be possible to include in trade offers by others while players put on the trade block is a clear signal that a manager is looking to move the players. Those players will also be listed at the transfer page along side with free agents (though filter). Comments, questions?   10. Hi Jussi Thanks so much for your feedback Compare players My colleague David have actually made a prototype of this already. I'm hoping we can implement this when we release the trades feature. Tactics It's in the backlog to extend tactics both for line as for individual players. I can't tell when this is coming but maybe later this year. I'll also have a look if we could include more tactics. Goalies Well you're right, goalies are maybe little to high valued in the three stars of the week. I've actually adjusted this once already but I'll probably have to tweak this once more. Thanks again for great feedback

Wouldn't say that the fights alone turned the game around for you but it sure is one important factor =) The skills used for fighting is Physical (most important), Spirit but also the profile trait "Dirty". A gentle player won't do as good in a fight as a Tough player. The player role assignment will also influence the chance of the player actually being in a fight. A enforcer or powerforward is more likely to be in a fight than a playmaker.

  15. Hi, thank you so much for this awesome set of feedback! I’ll try to answer/comment the best I can 1. Guide for new and experienced playersA couple of months ago I introduced an “in game hints system” to help new users understand the game better, but it is obvious that it don’t give all the answers, because I’ll get the same questions over and over again. So, you’re totally right, I really need to find the time to put it all down to a user guide. But as you mention, it’s also important to keep some secrets that users figure out on their own. Your approach with tactics seems just about right, even if the game doesn’t tell you straight to your face if you doing it right, your results will. But I have plans to include hiring of staff in the upcoming versions of the game where coaches and scouts will let you know how well your tactics fit the opponents, how well your players have adopted to your style of play etc. As of today you can’t tell what tactic the opponent has and therefor not make appropriate changes. My main vision with the game is that if you know your hockey, you will succeed in the game. But I’ll try add more pointers in the game if you’re doing things right or not. 2. TrainingYou’re right, players that train hard will learn faster but tire faster. If you choose offensive training the player will focus on those skills required to be successful at your current offensive tactic. The same goes for defensive training. General training combine the two. So if you’re playing a Dump and chase offensive game, players with offensive training will focus on Skating, Physical and Spirit besides Passing and Shooting. All players develops faster if they have a lot of ice time. But they also need to perform well to develop. Scratched players should always train hard. 3. InjuriesA tired player will risk more injuries, so it can be wise to let players with low endurance rating not to do hard training. 4. Agreed. This is something I would love to add. Some players tried to add a thread on this forum for their league but it isn’t the same thing as having the possibility to interact in game. I’m looking into this. 5. I have plans for both draft, trades and farm/affiliation teams. At first I thought I’ll add two different game worlds, one american and one european style. But I’m actually going to combine the two and keep promotions and relegations along side with both trades and drafts. This is a high priority and I’m hoping to add this over the summer. Really glad you like the game so far and again, thanks a lot for your feedback, it really helps me keep developing the game.

Hopefully I can include this in the next upcoming releases. Pull the goalie/Per game tactics I have plans for more detailed tactics. Both individual player orders as well as to be able to adopt your tactics against the next opponent. I can't say when this will be included but it's a priority. Outcome of fights Yes, some one actually wins the fight and it very much influence the team morale during the game. But you're right, you can't really tell when looking at the game report. I'll fix this asap. Thanks.

  18. I don't think that your goalie's poor puck handling skills was the only reason of his bad performance but it could have been one major factor. But I'll have a closer look on how much the puck handling skill may influence the game result when facing an opponent with Dump and chase tactic. Even though it's not meant to be a game changer on it's own it's there for a reason, a goalie with great puck handling skills should do better than a goalie with poor puck handling skills, especially when facing Dump and chase tactic. Fast defensemen could be one way to help goalies with poor puck handling. This I will look into. Great idea. Thanks.

  21. Thanks a lot for those kind words! Line chemistry is in the backlog, but right now I can't say when it will be included. Trades on the other hand is a high priority and I'm hoping to include this feature soon, hopefully in a he upcoming month.
  22. Here are some flaws in the game that I've found and want to fix pretty soon * A team can survive with very few players on the roster. That means that you can afford to many great players without suffering any consequences. This can be fixed by increasing injuries to a more realistic level and increasing endurance loss for players with a lots of ice time. * Great goalies have a unrealistic impact on the team. Some goalies have ridiculous stats. * There might be unbalanced regarding tactics. Any tactics using physical and spirit ratings have too great advantage today. * Natural talents develops to fast. Many players in the high speed worlds are already hitting 99 in multiple ratings.
  23. Yes I'm aware that Succasunna is pretty much unbeatable. I know the manager of the team and he is very experienced so I'm not surprised, but his success have sure revealed a couple of flaws in the game. Which in all means is great. The game is still a prototype so I'm counting on it to have both flaws and to be unbalanced in some ways. I have some ideas for updates that I'm planning to install soon. Can not promise that it will make it perfect but hopefully it will balance the game in the right direction. But if you look at the team's roster (Succasunna) it's obvious that it should be a great team that have a terrific chance of winning each season. So I can't change that =) Please have a little more patience. I sure don't want to lose you in the game.
  24. Yes I agree. It would be a nice feature to browse complete stats from past seasons. All stats are saved so it is no problem to add this feature in the future. I'll add this to my backlog No, you can't see other game worlds at the moment.
  25. Awards is a high priority. Hoping to introduce this soon. You can already check most shutouts in goalie stats on league view. But I'll look into adding one "best" view also
