Yeah, you can make trades before the draft on the PlayoffsEnd day. I guess you can talk it through with the other GM during playoffs and then accept em right away.

The Oshawa Cougars are back in the playoffs!!! Against the New Haven Whales............... Great run this season, especially down the final stretch! Hoping to cause an upset or two before getting knocked out of playoffs, but we'll see what happens...the experience of making it is still a great achievement considering where we were last season at this point in time!

Yeah, it'd be great to know. I was able to re-sign a 20yo FWD very early in the season, while I'm still waiting on a 20yo D to open up(Game 56 coming up). The FWD is currently 83OVR, D is 86OVR. I guess it depends on their skill level, other players on your team in general(or that specific position), etc? Or do those things only come into play when the player is deciding on the actual contract...not when he'll open up?

I'd agree on Lumber. It's really competitive here in the GHL for sure, I'm sure lower leagues as well. I was used to playing Mitts speed, but starting to like Lumber speed now.

And it's already been suggested I think as well(I know I've said multiple times). Should be in the works, Anders is apparently currently re-working the message system.

Having a way to select and delete multiple messages at a time would greatly help the situation as well.

Welcome junior! Considering my team's got 67P in 40GP as compared to the 64P in 60GP last season, I'd say Season 17 has been a success! Making playoffs would be sweet! Straight from relegation playoffs to legit playoffs

That's a great goal to have ;D Feeling pretty good about my team this season, its a great improvement from the 16th place we were stuck in for the majority of last season.

How's everyone feeling about their teams so far this season? Any improvements made from Season 16? Goals for this season? Any predictions at almost the 20-game mark of the season?

I suppose that we do have a way to keep track of those rejected offers via the PM that we get from our Assistant stating which team we were offering and who/what the offer included. However, I(along with most others I'm assuming) usually delete those PMs pretty quickly, since I don't want a buildup in my Inbox

@North, have you tried refreshing the page, waiting for it to load properly, and then continuing? The white bar sometimes shows up when the page is still loading, might just be your internet.

These are players that I traded for....so they were signed the past season....not sure at what point in that season... I guess I'll wait it out for a bit more...I seem to have a chance of not being relegated...hopefully that's the case and these guys open up to extension offers soon.

Hiya guys, I'm quite sure that certain players will refuse to re-sign with their team if they are bound for relegation. I wanted to know if anyone's had any experience with this...how do you know they won't sign with you? The players will be adamant that they want a 1W contract? Or they won't even let you into the offer page? I'm currently in a relegation spot, fighting to get out(13 games left in season). My players who're on their last season of their contracts just keep saying that they're happy with their contracts, the offer page won't open up. Would this be due to the fact that I'm in a relegation spot or just because there are still games left to be played and they'd rather get through the season before discussing an extension? Thnx.

Hey guys, Since I'm still in a relegation spot with about 15 games left, I might end up selling my 1W contract players. At this point in time, I'm still working to get out of this hole, and hopefully I do. If you've got an interest in any of my players(all 1W players would obviously be available...others might be available depending on offer), please PM me ASAP with details regarding who you've got an interest in and what you can offer. I'll probably be forced to make a decision a few games down the line. I'm looking for prospects/picks mainly. If you're offering me signed players, please ensure that they are either 2W contract guys or guys that you want to get rid of as salary dumps(all 1W guys will obviously be of no use to me at that point). I'll probably start combing through the GHL teams and might send out a few PMs myself, appreciate quick replies Not sure if I'm making this announcement too early....have I given up already? ;P
