Plenty of BHL/CHL caliber players on the trade block. Check my team: https://gameplanhockey.com/team?gpid=100-A
  4. Kegashka is really dominating last 2 rounds.
  5. Great summary, Wendel! Especially after our last game in the very last game of regular season, I started to worry. You were really strong opponent.
  6. Leopards out and both top teams (point-wise) are now 2-2. Big night tonight for me
  7. Interesting first round for me... as 2nd overall team with best PP and PK in the league, I was not really expecting 0-5 loss after 4 PP goals in just one 5 minutes major. I know how Las Vegas felt against SJS
  8. We can still steal the first ovr place from Kegashka Prairie Stars. Go Hawks!
  9. Oh, ok. It makes sense after all - there are examples in real NHL as well :-)
  10. That is first time I saw such a thing - my prospect refused to sign entry level contract. Is that normal?
  11. Yep, the players in juniors gain most of what they are - in entry level contract they can gain 2 OVR per season at best and reach full potential by 21 - i.e. what I see on draft is 6 or 7 OVR from maximum, if talented and less if less talented. I agree that 35+ is now rarer in NHL, but I have seen significant drop for players at 31 years (and some drops for 28-30 y). Look, P. Kane is 30, Toews is 30, Crosby is 31, Marchand 30, Wheeler 32, Ovi 33, Burns 33, Giordano 35, Bergeron 33, Krejci 32 etc. All having great year, some even career years. My 31yo top line D dropped 2 OVR in less than half a season.

I'm leaving CHL and many players won't fit my plan for BHL, so I'm willing to let them in CHL. I was 1st team, so there are pretty good players to choose from. There are also some with 2W contracts, so even IHL teams might have a chance to get something. Please have a look if you are in those leagues. They are all on tradeblock, but might want to deal also other players. I prefer picks and young players under entry level contracts as a return. My team is Hazard Blizzard https://gameplanhockey.com/team?gpid=100-A The list includes 77 OVR goalie, 72 OVR C, 70 and 71 OVR D and so on.
  13. It looks like that the training speed is now quite slow and together with the fact that the skills can have a different ceiling for different players, this might be frustrating for the future. I noticed that in both my team GHL and CHL, while both are quite young, I was looking forward to see how the training goes. The GHL is slow speed, but still I have seen to few skillups in OVR (about the same as skilldowns), which is for young team not very encouraging. But there is small sample - but seeing 31you top4 D with great performance down by 2 OVR in , while no skillup for his 20yo colleague from the pair is a bit depressing. But the normal speed CHL is now first season over and after 80 regular season games (+ 3 preseason), i think this is a good sample to judge. My focus is on 20-21yo players: 1) 20yo top line C, powerforward, shown great potential, playing 21:30 per game, no injury (80+3 games played), happy with performance - 77 average, producing at point per game rate, +53 etc. etc. He is training hard on general all season long. Here is his skill change list: +1 in OVR (70->71), +1 in Shooting, +1 in Skating, +0 in Passing, +1 in PuckHandling, +1 in Physical, +2 in Endurance, +4 in Defence, -2 in Spirit. This is ok-ish in some skill - apparently I should train him in defensive skills, but for 20yo this is slow if this is talented player - he can't follow my team if I promote every other season. And what it is with the -2 in Spirit?! 2) 21yo second line C/F, playmaker, shown great potential, playing 19:00 per game, some injuries (69+3 played), happy with performance - 76 average, producing more than point per game rate, +40 etc. etc. He is training hard on general all season long. Here is his skill change list: +0 in OVR (69), +0 in Shooting, +1 in Skating, +0 in Passing, +0 in PuckHandling, +0 in Physical, +0 in Endurance, +0 in Defence, +0 in Spirit. This is less positive and it goes on (no skill change) for most of my players in their 20ties, except for one 22yo talented D, who gain 1 in OVR. Otherwise only very small changes (+ or - in few, 1 to 3, skills) 3) 31yo second line C, sniper, playing 16:30 per game, no injuries (79+3 played), happy with performance - 75 average, producing more at point per game rate, +51 etc. etc. He is training hard on general all season long. Here is his skill change list: -1 in OVR (66->65), +0 in Shooting, +0 in Skating, +0 in Passing, +0 in PuckHandling, -2 in Physical, -6 in Endurance, -1 in Defence, -4 in Spirit. And if I look at older, it is only worse. So far my observations: you can train player until 20-22yo (depends on ceiling), then you have almost done player, which will start decrease once he is above 30yo. That is pretty harsh to me, especially if you want to keep some players while promoting to higher leagues. But let's see. My question is - is this supposed to be the design on the new release? I'm worried about the decrease of spirit of young players, no training gain for majority of my 21-29 yo players and also about quite fast decrease of already 31yo players.
  14. Ok, I have been in the past too long in GHL, so I don't know how the promotion works. I understand the fact about positions and playoffs, but I'm not sure what happens with players: - with no clause - with 1W clause - with PC clause - which players I can remove in higher league without penalty? In my world the regular season ended and if I offer contract now, the player is asking for higher league contract, so this will remain the same? Example: I'm in CHL, the player has 1 y, $140 000 1W, PC contract and he is asking for BHL level, 1 year one way promotion contract with a salary of $201 000 per year. So will be no more increase, just the 61k?
  15. Oh, I noticed he missed one game and that I don't have any C scratched or in minors, but I have several F with better faceoff skill and more suitable for the line tactic.
  16. The lineup automatic fill needs some improvements. My 3rd line center got hurt day-to-day and I was not able to set the lineup, although since he was healthy before next match, I thought I don't have to. I was quite surprised my scratched defender was picked to play center. That is really stupid. It would be great fix to have the original player in lineup automatically once he is healthy, especially if he missed no game. And also separate filling for center, winger, defense, goalie if available.

    S1 GHL Power Rankings

This is cool. Since I got beaten hard by best team in East, my team is rolling. Hope it can last... the top teams in West look dangerous.
  18. Yeah, it was fixed about 1 day after I made this topic. Although I liked the chat window inside the page like it was in the old version, not the pop-up window now. But that is probably just my feeling.
  19. Since having two teams is now based in everyone's subscription, it would be nice to have the switch button more accessible on main team page. Going this way: "Manager - Action - Your career ... now scrolling because everything is now soooo big - Select" is more clicks than I would have guessed and since I do it many times per day (it's a start and it will decrease, but anyway), this would be very user friendly to have it one, max. two clicks away.
  20. In Manager - Chat and Manager - Forum, I have nothing connected, although I'm logged in here and tried to pair my accounts again (not sure if I did it right). No forum connected to this game world... No chat connected to this game world...
  21. It's weird, because it says Season 1, GHL, Joined Portland Steam as a free agent and signed for a 3 year $1 010 000 per season contractwhile there is his S1 line for RUHL suggesting he was in Russian league and not FA. This is my player: https://gameplanhockey.com/player?gpid=6217-A
  22. Looks like you are right Matt - now the same happened to me in Cage. If this is right - the text needs to be changed. I can confirm you can offer contract only in "Silly season" (Day 1-3), so the text is partially right, but one does not understand from it that if the player does not decide within the 3 days, you will loose him for entire season (and if you plan to move to better/worse league, it will be pretty pointless acquisition). Btw. Are there any help files, newbie guidance? I haven't read it since early beta (or alpha) and this forced me to care more, like read the help info again. I'm sure it is much better now and many things also changed.
  23. Hi, in CHL, I have signed player from non-playable league. I know I have to offer contract before Day 3, which I did. He accepted my offer the next day: Season 1, day 4 Forward Donovan Chateuvert has accepted your contract offer But he remained in his team and looks like he will be joining me next season. This is expected? Because when I offer contract, it says only I have to do offer contract before end of Day 3, not he has to agree before Day 4.
  24. This forum needs new worlds forums.... quickly.
