Alrighty y'all! Since my team is being relegated, all of my GHL 1way deal players are for sale. Looking for picks and prospects. I am not looking for full value necessarily, just want to get something for the 1-way guys. I will also take on shitty contracts if you have one you want to dump with a prospect or pick as I will not have a buyout penalty. HMU with offers!!!! I WILL be back in the GHL after this setback lol but for now, I am willing to make moves!

I am confused AF... Unless I completely missed something, there is fighting in this game. First off, on the player stat page, it shows fighting majors (FM). Second, It shows who fought who in the game boxscore page. Fighting in hockey is becoming rarer (unfortunately lol), and so the amount of fighting simulated in this game is actually more than modern hockey. Might have missed what you were implying but I think it is currently fine the way it is

So I was wondering if, in the future, it would be possible for us to manage our affiliate teams too. It kind of sucks when a free agent or bad player is getting better playing minutes over a prospect that I want to grow. I also think it would make the developing system a little better as if you want to work on a player's defense, you can play them in a more defensive role as opposed the the computer tossing them wherever. I know training is partially available to do this, but being able to make a player more well-rounded in the aspects we want would be cool by setting up and managing affiliate team lines. Also, I saw in a different forum, the idea of adding national teams. To expand on that, having a world cup would be really cool and it would also add something else for us to follow when our team gets eliminated from the playoffs, as there is only so much you could do with scouting and contracts at the end of the season. Just a couple of suggestions. Hope to see these added, but otherwise, I've been liking 2.0 so far

I agree with the national team thing. Since offseason is longer now, it would be nice to have a world cup or something. Even if we can not manage it, the world cup would add something else we could follow when our team is eliminated from the playoffs

Thought someone would've reported this by now, but season 2 draft picks in attack have not disappeared yet, and we are well into pre-season now. They are also still allowed to be traded, which shouldn't work as the draft already happened.

Well, he only missed 4 games over 2 seasons so it wasn't injuries. However all the players I saw that retired young had the trait of being lazy. Could be that the lazy players may be riskier to sign and develop than other traits?

I just had a 23-year-old retire in Attack. He has played the entire season and was growing. How is that possible? Also, I had a 28 year old shortlisted who apparently retired too. Hopefully, this can be fixed as I've worked hard to get a young team, and to have them hang them up is a little disheartening lol Thanks!

I am not sure if this is a bug or not, but I have 2 players (one 77 overall, the other 80) that will not accept any GHL contracts when I take it off one way. For GHL, 77 and 80 overall is not great and I've tested offering a 4-year deal, 8 million for them on a two-way deal and they still won't accept (original asking price was 4 years at $600,000, one way). I am not sure if it is normal for low-end players to reject that much money on the term they requested, just for a 1-way deal. If this is a new feature that they are more stubborn, then it makes sense. But if it is a glitch, hopefully you can sort it out soon as they are players I would want to keep

so when I originally joined 2.0 i created a team in buzzer and attack but decided to resign from my buzzer team because I didn't know how much time i'd have to manage both. It will not let me start a new second career now though. It gives me the error as shown below. I wouldn't mind this bug getting fixed because i want my second team now haha

Ya I found in old gen getting a trade that even your assistant liked was rare, but I've had a solid amount so far. Only wish rn is that sorting through trades would be easier than it is now but otherwise I'm liking the computer trade offers currently

Hey so just to follow up the issue appears to still be there. Even though the player has agreed to a contract other teams can still offer a contract which is getting accepted. I attached 2 photos to give a visual explanation

So I was just scanning through the free agents in Attack to do some scouting... Noticed that there are a few players that have signed multiple contracts. Since it is past trade deadline, they won't report to the correct team but in the "current headlines" section under the specific players, it shows they have signed contracts with 2 or more teams but have not been released by anyone, making some of their contracts invalid. This doesn't currently affect me as I have not offered any contracts recently but I want to make sure this issue doesn't reoccur in future season

If i may offer a suggestion about fa spawning, why not make it only unsigned prospects. Not a lot, just a couple sprinkled through the season or only at around game 60. The reason for my thinking is that the NHL has undrafted college free agents that become available at that time of year so it would still allow some flavour for fa signings but limit overpowered teams from snagging high-end players for ridiculous contracts
