I understand that there are aspects of this game that you want to remain "mysterious" so that everyone has to come to their own conclusions, and there is no easy-button for newbies to push. But if there were clear directions, that still wouldn't guarantee things, because its hard to keep good talent assembled for a great amount of time. And even if you knew what piece you needed to fit into the hole in your team, it doesn't mean that that piece will be available! bleh

Weird. My team took a (hopefully) short-lived downturn recently, and was showing a "Weak" winning instinct. Looking into it, my captain (you know, the one with a True Leader profile) was listed as Concerned. Seems that he doesn't like his contract, even though it is a Promoted one, since I was relegated to BHL this season. I can't do anything about it too because he has 2 years on that contract. So I switched my captain to a Role Model with Perfect confidence, and now my Winning Instinct is back to Good. I am winning again. My Weak winning instinct was IMO the main reason why I was relegated. I slashed and burned the relegated roster in order to get rid of as many Nervous (and yellow type profile, can't remember the label) off of my roster to correct the winner's instinct problem. That measure seems quite sensitive, and powerful... maybe too much so?

Congrats to Baden for knocking me off of my winning streak today! Methinks I will be turning up the forecheck in our rematch... grr

Well for certain I am enjoying winning 19 of my first 23 games in the BHL vs. losing 44 of the 60 games in the SHL Is the disparity that bad? omg

OMFG. The day my young up-and-coming goalie comes back from his 6 day lowerbody injury, he gets a 4-day concussion injury?!? grrr

OMG one of my goalies is injured! I didnt think that was possible! Terrible time for the free agents section of the site to crap out on me!

...hmmm. I must be mistaken. I think it may be okay now. When I first looked, it said it was Day 77, and a number of my players showed 1 year left (last year of contract, no extension). Now it says, Day 1, same players, 1 year left. Disaster averted. Phew. Sorry!

Oh -- and if I try to offer a new extension, they refuse it out of hand. EVEN if I offer what they ask. Please fix, this is maddening. Thank you.

2-0-1-7 in the last 10. Last 2 games: no goals. Another injury on defense makes 3D out, and in order to call up assistance from the farm, I end up releasing my TOP PAID center (you're fired!), who was injured 37 games, to be able to clear the salary cap. I'm a bit disappointed in this season. bah
