Maybe toss in some mods to check on CPU trades and accept/reject them as per 'League's decision'.
 
Anyway it's not easy to trade with human managers as well. Not many managers are up for it or ask the impossible. What I did notice is managers not wanting to trade for players they need and if they got traded with the CPU, they suddenly start trading with the CPU to get those players... And that's usually arranged within the first days. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I agree with the contracts not being very clear in that perspective. He should be with the club for another year up until the same day that he signed the year before. That being said, Anders has recently announced he is working on a new salary system. So more news to come! :-)

A salary cap raise is planned for next release. The raise will be a one time thing though. Have to give a yearly increase some more thought.

Top goalies, and players in general, are quite a bit expensive and will become even more so supposedly when the next big update comes around as players with lower greed traits are asking for way too little for their skill currently and that will be changed thankfully.

If you want to send a PM ingame, you have to go to your own manager screen and from there you can find "send a message" in the options. From there you can select to whom you want to send the message out of all the gms in your world.

Send them a quick PM as well....if they don't answer that as well, then yeah...its pretty weird

Would be a good idea. Although you can just take the offer away if the other part isn't answering. One reason they might not answer is they are waiting for all offers to come in (especially if the player is on tradeblock) so they can take the best deal. And that sucks I know.

Yes you can assign a forward to a d-spot in powerplay without any negative effect. The tactics in PK actually sees the LW as any winger depending on which tactic you are using. It's only the lineup UI that displays the spot as a LW.
