It’s called Diamond. Why so? Clay Dreslough, the creator of Baseball Mogul has renamed his game this year because of what they believe to be a bigger feature set with 4 major changes that represent the bases on a diamond.
We will share the details here with you. Most of the content is from the Baseball Mogul website. Baseball Mogul has been a long time staple for baseball sim fans and this change will likely please the loyal Baseball Mogul followers. It remains to be seen how much attention this game can garner with other major baseball releases lately.

- Improved Trade AI (Artificial Intelligence)

First off, thanks for the amazing response to the survey - in less than two days we got over 430 replies. That's really outstanding. The survey also produced some very clear messages. In short:
- People generally like the Auto Draft
- If there were to be a different draft offered, a Live Rolling Draft is by far the top choice
- People are generally very happy with the website
- 48% play in custom leagues, far outpacing the second most popular selection, All-Time Great Auto Leagues (32%)
- 54% of people like the Auto Draft, 31% don't like it, and 15% play only in Custom Leagues.
- A whopping 60% would not play in more Auto Leagues even if a different draft style was offered
- As for different draft types, 52% liked Live Rolling Draft, 29% Live draft at set time, 19% Bid Draft
- 60% of people would prefer different drafts being offered, rather than standardizing all Auto Leagues on one type of draft
- If different drafts were offered, here's the percent of people who would participate in each: Auto: 57%, Live draft at set time: 36%, Live Rolling: 58%, Bid Style: 26%.
- People really love the website, 86% gave it four stars, with an average of 3.85. There were only six two-stars and ZERO one-stars.
- The mobile experience gets good feedback too, but not nearly the same: 55% gave it four stars, 30% gave it three stars, and the rest were two and one. Mobile experience averaged 3.35.

The Pennant Chase You Tube Channel will start being leveraged to cover new features, tips and demos, and possibly video blogs about certain leagues. (If you have any ideas or want to create any videos for the channel yourself, let me know!) All new videos will be listed on the Video Center as well.These videos have the additional benefit of providing some extra ad revenue, which we badly need.The latest addition to the Video Center covers the newest feature: getting Pennant Chase texts to your phone! This is a cool feature for those who want to be alerted without having to dig into their email. Important Auto League notices, such as when a league is starting and ending, will be included, as well as injury updates if you have opted into those via email. In addition, you can choose to get notified any time a custom league commissioner emails the whole league (often times these messages contain time-sensitive info such as when free agency is opening, etc.).For those in live drafts, you'll also get texted when you are on the clock (assuming your commish has turned on draft alerts).Simply go to Update Account and add your cell number and carrier. Phone numbers are kept completely private and will never be distributed in any way, shape or form.Enjoy!
