I'm at wit's end. All of a sudden I will lose 5 straight and then win again after no major changes. My best player is never too unhappy, but whenever he isn't fully happy, my entire defense sucks. Plus there are no FA defenders coming through. I dunno, never had such wild swings before the full release so it feels weird when I can't correct them with tinkering like in seasons past. Kinda grasping for straws here.

Seems like our league is short on solid D and top heady with forwards haha.

While I appreciate a lot of the ideas on here, many of the proposed scheduling issues as far as being awake or available for free agency or having a day to resign players before being promoted are simply for personal convenience and should be avoided. We are fortunate to have people playing from all around the world so a universal clock would make no sense. Further, it makes it more fun if you miss out one day or lose a star player and are forced to figure out how to rectify your team and build from there. This is the essence of the game. Most of us who have been playing a bit understand this and enjoy it. It makes it more realistic that a good player wants to bolt after he developed and play for a larger team. It does not make sense to say that the last day after a season's championship should be set aside for upcoming teams to "catch up" as this is not realistic. You can take as much time as you'd like to put into the game, but changing the rules to suit you in the case of inconveniences isn't a realistic or viable option. All that being said, it's awesome so many people are invested enough in the game to voice suggestions and create open discussion.

Hey @GMS I'm not picking on you. And just like I said, team building and value is subjective, which makes this fun. So to answer your question..no I would not do what you do. It sounds like you play a core few and eschew development. Which is fine. But I know myself and some others enjoy the development and team building aspects of the game so many of your suggestions would give a shortcut to that part of the game and I don't think everyone would enjoy that. That's all. Just trying to have a reasonable discussion here.

Many of your suggestions sound more like complaints. Managers value players in different ways based on different things and it is mostly subjective. You have more 90+ players on your roster than I believe there are in the entire Gino world and it still isn't enough for you. Embrace the challenge. I do agree with some of your points but it sounds like you need to be more patient or understanding about the work Anders is putting in...on his own.

Yeah, some filters may be nice, but it's nice to have to hunt and spend time choosing FAs and be rewarded when you find one. Much better than some manager who filters, scoops some talent and then stays inactive all season.
