The next 8 or so games for me will show if my early success is fleeting or if I've truly turned the team around from last season's mess.  All 8 games are against teams currently in the playoffs and most in the top half of the standings.

Looks like the east is set to become a bloodbath again!

[Breaching the cap when new season starts?]

I'm all for being able to breach the cap by a little bit, (maybe adding cap penalties?).

 

but as for being able to breach cap space with free agent signings; I'm not sold on it, i would prefer to not allow cap breaches on free agent signings to allow more free agent spread. Adding a little more of a challenge to it, rather than just being able to send out 20-30 offers

Pretty interesting GHL draft, a few last second deals, a few interesting selections.  The Nightmares ended up with Albert Massi at 18th overall, a slightly underrated sniper ranked 25th at the final draft rankings.
