  1. I made a mistake. Best info is in the help files.

no clauses or two way clause. moving down will gain 1way and promotion clauses with no salary changes. going up will remove any clauses and give "lower league contract" with no salary change.

1 way going up will remove the 1way clause, no salary change and give "lower league contract".

A *promotion contract* clause will increase the player’s salary if his team is promoted to a higher league. The new salary is calculated so that the player will keep the same percentage salary cap impact. E.g. if the player’s salary was 10% of the cap limit in the previous league his new salary will be 10% of the new league’s salary cap.

However, if the new salary exceeds the base salary of the new league level the raise will instead become a 25% raise."

Promotion clause will disappear on promotion/ traded up a league.

  2. 2-way contract players will stay 2-way if they move down one league. If they were to move another league down their contract switches to 1-way.

If they didn't have any contract clauses the contract switches to 1-way if moved one league down.

1-way contracts moving up will have no contracts clauses on them.

Promotion clauses I believe stays on through the entirety of the contract whether they move up or down.

  3. MATCH 45:

    Lanza / 89 (+4) / 45 / 3.07 / .917 / 2

    Vignaux / 84 (+1) / 38 / 1.90 / .932 / 8

At this rate my Clapper team may be vying for the top pick if we get promoted this season. Boy, there is a drastic rating difference just from the 1st rated prospect (Lanza) to the 2ndz I'd sure love to have that 1st though...

I'd go with lanza also. Put on a good team and those numbers will be better

  4. We're now heading into the home stretch of the season.

In the SHL the top 6 teams have split themselves from the rest of the league with a 18pt difference between the 6th & 7th. The Polar Bears are looking to catch up to league leaders Valkyries being down 7pts while fighting off the Captains, Robots & Greyhounds.

Are there any surprises in your league or fail expectations?

  5. SHL Greyhounds looking to trade some players.

    Muhammad Burge  - 87 overall - Forward - signed 2yrs/$3,125,000 1W/PC

    Malyk Di-Rienzo - 85 overall - Forward - signed 2yrs/$1,140,000 1W/PC

    Raphael Deniau - 85 overall - Forward - signed 2yrs/$971,000 1W/PC

    Trey Rorie - 85 overall - Forward - signed 1yr/$450,000 1W/PC

    Zbynek Acsai - 73 overall - Forward - signed 3yrs/$225,000

I'm looking for either draft picks, offensive center, offensive forward or a stay at home defenseman. Must have 85+ skating.

  6. Any BHL team want Desmond Kidd. A young center rated at 73 overall on a 276k/8yr SHL contract which will get reduced to 82k if moved down to BHL.

Looking to get a draft pick.

  7. S25

Another weak draft prospects this season.

Really hindering those of us that just entered SHL.

Signed a team of senior citizens for this season. Without any good prospects to sign that really put me right to the cap ceiling. Hoping to at least be in contention for a PO spot.

  8. +1 to this crazy season in BHL!!

My mouth has been agape over the last 20, 30, 40 games or so! I said it earlier in this thread even, this is a horse race... f'n crazy

I'm afraid of making any changes to the roster etc so that I don't upset anything lol

Good luck to all, I gotta say there are some solid teams in the league this year. Just stay outta my way! ;)

I want to put in my backup but afraid he'll lose a game and cost me a potential promotion

  9. What is the basic make up if the different types of lines? Also how do I choose dmen with 4 lines of forwards and 3 lines of def?

    Forward lines:

    ·Scoring= passing & shooting stats.

    ·Two way= passing, shooting & defense stats.

    ·Checking= defense & physical stats.

    ·Energy= physical & spirit stats

    Defense lines:

    ·Support offense= passing & shooting stats

·Stay at home= defense, physical & spirit stats

·Matchline= I would assume your defencemen would have good all around stats.

·dynamic= defense, passing and shooting stats.

That's basically how I choose. Not sure about "matchline" though.

And what do you mean by "how do I choose dmen with 4 lines of forwards and 3 lines of def?"
