Another way to combat this is making international leagues more willing to sig ln free agents thus giving potential managers an updated look at their skill set. I tend to find some good contributors that sat out for 3 years because no regulation league team wanted to take the chance

As I've had time to asses my *almost* entirely new team and watch them play a little, at this moment I only have a few players I'm looking to move. Any of my prospects, with the exception of Roberson are available because frankly I don't have interest in any of them. You can make offers on essentially everyone as I have no personal connections with any of them being my first year in this game world

Having switched over from Howitzer, I didn't have the time to manage that team anymore, I attempted to right a SHL team that was in terrible shape and ultimately got last in that league because of the lack of teamwork. I worked my way up from the lower iron and look to make this the world I can ultimately reach the GHL

Actually I believe we are in the early stages of an official release. I believe it happened 5 months ago or so. The homepage just needs to be updated

I think in a future update he has talked about adding an increase to teamwork for familiarity of signing back old players

Just an idea but what if when you go back and look at previous years' drafts it would show a stat line of games played in the US/Canada leagues (GHL,SHL,BHL,etc.). It would show a direct comparison of players

It would most likely be GHL all-stars vs RUHL all-stars if this was the case

I'm not sure if Anders had plans to implement this but I don't know how to pick the team(s)? Does anybody else agree that it'd be nice to see this later. No big rush

I like the idea but I feel like they are hurting the lower teams as their roster gets filled with prospects leading to more free agents in European Leauges. Also that team becomes reliant on the prospects so that when the higher level league wants them back the team they were on tanks because they do not have to resources to stay afloat. I like the idea but with affiliate league

In Howitzer I've noticed players being generated for foreign teams (not sure if it's a bug) but they are always rated in the 40s. Researching this topic I've ran across what might be two bugs

As I've heard the game does not generate more players as all players now enter the game through the draft. I just feel like maybe leaving it on would help make undrafted stars as the way the game is currently set up only players with terrible overalls go undrafted and will be stuck in the LIHL for a while if ever reaching it

How would you guys feel about the game adding random players into overseas leagues? Such as after silly season there are 20 or so random players added (between 18-22?) representing those players that get no publicity when younger that manage to have a HOF career such as Peter Stastny, Dino Ciccarelli, and Ed Balfour or if you want a more recent example Artemi Panarin. I feel like it might add depth in people who take the time to scour those leagues for players but by no means the difference between winning and being borderline. Maybe it would be better implemented around the time affiliate teams come around

What I'm trying to find out is that if you sign players that have played with someone already on your team does that get factored into the rating. I'll give an example I had a defender that has played in three stints with my team and I think I have 4 players who have been here for each stint. Does that mean he already comes in with some established teamwork or is it worthless?

I was wondering what exactly goes into this rating Anders. I wanna know because I think that I don't use it fully to my advantage.

When silly season comes around we can get a deal done

In the BHL about to promote and I have two players I'd like to trade (both of which have one way contracts, so promoting teams we can set up a deal for after the season change). 1. Aleksei Kavalchuck - 21 y/o defender that has developed nicely (4 ovr ratings in 4 years) but I don't exactly have room for him on a promoting team already being a 3rd liner. 1 year left on his contract after this season at $150,000 2. Rafael Viitala - 29 y/o goalie that I screwed up on contract wise but has seen growth the last two years but through this year has shown to be a reasonable backup (he could start but I do not recommend it). Unfortunately his contract is $185,000 for 3 more seasons Anyone interested can reply here or message me in game (Black Lick Quiet Storm BHL #1)

What I was trying to get at is that in RL many people in foreign leagues go undrafted and end up in the free agent pool, some of which go on to be HOF, just because of little attention. I only brought up the 15 y/o because in RL there is a window of three years (18-21) that a player can be drafted so I was just saying that it would be nice to have a similiar window of ages here and because only junior players are eligible the 15-17 came up

Just an idea why aren't all prospects on junior teams able to be drafted and only seventeen year olds? If shooting for realistic feel there are undrafted players in the real leagues. And I feel this adds a level of creating equal competition because a GHL team is more likely to take the proven prospect where an IHL team might take a chance on the 15 y/o that looks to have a high ceiling. Also will all prospects able to be drafted the free agent market will have few young players that you can bring in at 18, 19, 20 to build around. Just an idea because I've shortlisted more 15 and 16 y/o than 17 year olds

I disagree with the idea but maybe set it for draft pick trading. Only reason I say it would hurt the game is sometimes at the end of the year as you go to get promoted you have a player you do not want you couldn't trade him with a deadline and now you're either stuck with him or half his salary against the cap

How do you guys feel about being able to sort the free agent list by in foreign leagues, good for silly season, and sorting by player interest?

I know I personally took on a team at the LIHL level and now in my fourth year I made it to the BHL. This year is going better than I anticipated. How are you doing/how long have you been in the world?

Maybe another option would be if you got promoted you get an option to change it. This way within a league familiarity stays the same but in a new league you can be a new team
