    The player in question needs to play and perform well. Your team's three best players will get a star beside them in the Roster page. Their contract also helps determine this, if you sign them as a star player or not.

    I have this issue all the time as well. No rhyme or reason, but sometimes it works if you wait a season day to accept the game, sometimes not.

    Sorry this is the wrong forum, please remove/ignore. For the first three days of offseason I sent a friendly invite to my friend's team, he accepted and everything was okay. However, I was unable to invite an eligible computer team to a friendly game without an error, and now I cannot accept my friend's friendly game invites without an error either. I keep crashing to the "This can't be good" page. It doesn't matter which day I choose.
