  1. Post game for the Minnedosa Musketeers 6-3 road victory over the Tullahoma Tomcats. The arena is electric and loud as the boos ring down for the Musketeers and the cheers and shrieks for the Tomcats as they enter the ice. The fans are fully behind coach Wendel, some signs reading Double Promotion and some woman in the front row holding up “I want to have your love child coach Wendel!” He could be seen glancing at the woman and looking for exits if a quick escape was needed. This is it, the finalé of all. The prestigious Tarnished Silver Biscuit Plate was on display awaiting the winner of this game! Will it be Tullahoma, the upstart home side playing their game controlling the puck and aggressively trying to win it back or the Musketeers gritty hard hitting and borderline dirty forcheck with their pushy greasy attack in front of goal? It only took a minute and for the second time in these games Minnedosa struck first on the first shot, if you could call it a shot. Hudspeth won the faceoff in the neutral zone and Calce passed it back to Compos who threw it in the zone from neutral ice. The puck took a funny bounce and hopped over the stick of Naud in goal for a quick 1-0 lead. Tomcats looked flat footed after that and needed something to pick them up. Near the end of the period Luka Macri starts pushing Derick Hudspeth around in neutral territory and they drop the gloves. It didn’t end well for Hudspeth though as he didn’t even get a punch in while Macri dropped him after multiple hits. It was a merciful when they lost their balance and the refs could break it up. The fans were in it again and the team was pumped up! Paulhus gets in and has the puck handed to him behind the net. He throws it out for Dicare who slips it across to Roch who levels it with an easy tap in. Tie game going into the break! The second started harsh, Minnedosa picking up 2 majors and 2 minor penalties from the 1:30 to the 10:30 mark with over 3 minutes of 5 on 3 hockey. Coach Little could be seen screaming at the referees clearly feeling that they were a bit one sided. Luckily Brennan Slade and Maurice Overall took charge, blocking 2 shots early on and the whole PK unit only allowed 3 shots… and generated 4 of their own! Then as the penalty ended they used the even strength to take the lead again! Sonke Heyde, rumoured to be on the market this season for the right price comes up with a brace bringing it in from the sideboards and making a little move to beat Naud far post. 2-1 and the agony didn’t stop there because before the end of the period Aymeric Lopes, the big Powerforward known for defending makes a good tip on a Taushev shot from the point and makes it 3-1 before the break. Within seconds of the third Compos wins the puck with some fine checking from Thiago Roch and sends it into the zone. Camarillo sends it around the boards to Fiala who fakes a shot and sends it over to Compos pinching in from the point for a 1 time blast that hits iron but sneaks in somehow. 4-1 now and could that lead be too insurmountable? 5 minutes later the response from Perttu Lappi who goes on the attack carrying the puck into the zone and finding Hutka in the slot. He wrists one over the glove of Sprogis to bring them back to within 2. Minnedosa would go on to get 2 more goals to lead 6-2 before Dicare, a free agent signing in the off season made a good move receiving a pass from the neutral zone and throwing it on goal from the circle clipping off of Sprogis glove and dribbling in the net. It wasn’t much consolation though as that is how the game ended 6-3 for Minnedosa winning the Plate! Once again, Minnedosa dominated this game in the faceoff dot (68.4%) and had the lions share of possession which helped with the victory. They however had 7 giveaways to go with Tomcats 6 takeaways and were fortunate more of those didn’t turn into goals the other way! Tomcats allowed 39 shots this game again which is their lowest total of the tournament but this time it cost them. Who knows what would have happened if they didn’t rest Kivinen for the season… Could he have altered the game and stole another one? No one will know now! As it was presented to captain the supporters began chanting… “ this is so fixed…. OHHHH OHHHHHH this is so fixed!” and a chorus of boos to follow as Captain Alan Taushev shakes the hands and takes the plate. Suddenly there are screams from the players….. Where are the biscuits?!?!?!?! Was it all for not? As they look at the dirty looking plate they realize they can use it as a mirror to make sure the between period snacks are out of their teeth and begin to finally get excited.
  2. Post game for Pittsboro Plastic Attack’s 4-3 Shootout win over Deferiet Leopards. A game between two teams playing for pride having not won in either of their previous games. They will both be looking to turn it around and get momentum going for the start of the season. Tonight the 3 million dollar man will get a rest, making way for Andreas Zhutov who played well in relief of Stulreiter in the first game when he got the hook late in the 2nd period. In the other goal Tikhomirov will get his 2nd start looking to improve upon last match letting 4 past him. Kovar wins the opening facoff to Izidor Hocevar and immediately fires a long pass which is way off the mark and goes for an icing right away. The ensuing faceoff earns action right away as Leopard centerman Dmitry Sayansky wins the draw straight to Braden Forest who rockets on hard and low but Sakovich gets in position to lay down and block it. It goes straight to Nathanial Washam though and he forces Tikhomirov to make a good blocker save pushing the puck deep into the corner. It wasn’t until the 17th minute that we have our breakthrough! Mulvihill forces a pad save from Tikhomirov who nicely pushes it wide. Lehtonen digs it out of the scrum for Leopards but Lehoullier comes in and knocks him over clean and hard beginning the transition. He banks it off the boards to Denys who plays it into the far corner for a racing Chaim Hottin who reaches it first and gets set. He spots Lehtonen cheating in on the far wing and makes no mistake with the pass through the slot for him to knock home. 1-0 for the home team. Could another upset be in the cards? Leopards would need to get some momentum going and they do right away to start the 2nd. Cycling the puck in the offensive end Yan Yurevich spots Pell at the high circle who drives a one timer at the net finding the top corner and drawing level. It wouldn’t stop there though as less than 2 minutes later they strike again! A puck battle in the corner to the right of Tikhomirov ends with a big hit on Niko Goddard from Ardit Kohler who won the puck back to Redman and he plays it far point to Hocevar who carries the puck around one skater and throws it on net through a screen going in between the legs of Tikhomirov before he got in the butterfly. They will have another look before they announce it to see if Homes who was screening got the stick on it but it appeared to be in clean and the goal goes to Hocevar. The domination of that period did not stop there as they doubled their lead only 7 minutes in, Homes wins a big faceoff in the offensive zone and Redman cuts across the middle with it and drops it to the side of the net for Kohler who puts it up high short side from a tough angle. Tikhmirov bangs his stick on the post as the Leopards celebrate a big goal which could be a decisive goal… or would it? Near the end of the period, Hottin takes a weak shot which Zhutov sends to the corner. In the scrum Washam comes in for a hit but gets the elbow infront and the referee puts his arm up immediately! On the powerplay Kovar wins the faceoff sloppily but the Leopards can’t quite get it out as Giguere picks the puck off before it goes out and throws it to the net where Leopold Sahlberg gets his stick on it and it drops below the glove of Zhutov. 3-2 and back in the game! That wasn’t all though! In the final minute of the period Hottin wins the puck in the neutral zone and finds Jemal Giguerre through the middle. He makes no mistake on the clean break lifting it over his blocker and brings Pittsboro level again! Third period it appeared the referees had a conference and came out blowing the whistle lots… but it was all one way. For 10 minutes the Leopards tirelessly killed off 4 penalties including 1 major for a questionable call where Stewart nudged Kovar on the back without even knocking him down. They were even short 2 men for 1 minute but still managed to hold Pittsboro at bay. They even managed to outshoot them in the 3rd period and forced an overtime. In overtime it appeared both teams wanted a shootout. There wasn’t 1 stoppage in the whole of the 5 minutes of overtime and only one shot managed mind you Waller forced an excellent save of Tikhomirov which could have easily been the end of it. The leopards were up first and Waller missed the net on his first shot. Germain was up first for Pittsboro and moving in from the left deked once and quickly tucked it through the pads of Zhutov for the early lead. Thomas Mcglashan draws level on the next shot with a cute move on Tikhomirov hanging him out to dry and slipping it in backhand along the ice into an open net. Pittsboro’s 2nd shot, which would end up being the winner; came of the stick of Donald Hammons who feigned a move to the backhand then lifted the puck over the pads and under the blocker. Zhutov got a piece but it wasn’t enough. The game ends there and Pittsboro Plastic Attack wraps up 3rd position beating the highly favored Leopards in a Shootout. The fans threw what looks like Hysteria albums on the ice singing “Love Bites” as they left the arena disappointed wondering what was to become of their team who were in the SHL playoffs last season. Only time will tell! Leopards dominated in shots 42-31 and will be disappointed they couldn’t turn their 53% possession or 71.8% faceoffs into just one more goal! Plastic Attack will have to be pleased their ninja skills worked, it was the 2nd game they stayed out of the box completely just proving I was right about their art of concealment! There was very few turnovers all game, both playing conservative not wanting to have a turnover cause goals. On to the grand final between the Musketeers and the Tomcats!

  8. Post game report for Tullahoma Tomcats 2-0 home shutout of the Deferiet Leopards. The atmosphere is electric in Tullahoma today as they welcome the Leopards into town. It could be a tough game today as Deferiet will be looking to bounce back after a rough game from the 3 million dollar man Lennart Kivinen. For Tomcats they will want to build on their victory that some have dubbed as fortunate and keep pace with the lead. Early on in the 1st, Leopards continue with the physical play as Waller hits Alexandrov just as he touches the puck straight off the opening faceoff getting mixed up in it right away. Between the two teams there were 5 hits in the opening minute so likely could see a very physical game. Both teams earned a penalty first Defriet earning a 2 minute minor for tripping then immediately as that penalty ended Sparks picked up 2 for cross checking. Neither led to more than 1 shot and it appeared to be a keepers duel with no goals in the first with Kivinen facing 12 shots to Stulreiter’s 7. In the early parts of the 2nd Deferiet clearly looking to put the pressure on. Big saves by Kivinen and Stulreiter at opposite ends of the ice Deferiet counters and Mulvill heads on what was questionably a breakaway! Rehberg gets his stick in front of him and hooks him off the puck. He was looking for a penalty shot but in the end only gave 2 minutes for hooking. Deferiet held them in their end and managed 2 quality shots as Kivinen stoned Mulvihill first then Waller with the glove as he was going top shelf on the one timer. While on the powerplay late in the period the rough stuff continued with Alexandrov clearly hitting Stalder in the numbers on the powerplay and being handed a 5 minute major for it. Coach Paul was heard from the top of the bleachers questioning how that couldn’t be a game as well. It fell on deaf ears though and the 5 was all that was given. Deferiet dominated most of the period, outshooting Tomcats 17-6 in the period and more than doubling them 29-13 in the game. In the end that isn’t where it matters though and the score remains 0-0. You have to wonder what was said in the Deferiet locker room as early in the third Stalder found his opportunity to get back at him, and lifted an elbow to the helmet to earn 2 minutes. Less than a minute later Tornqvist while in on the forcheck drove the Tomcats player into the boards creating a scrum to the left of the goal. In the end Tornqvist got a 5 minute major and the Tomcats were on the power play again, this time 5 on 3 for over a minute then 4 minutes after! It wasn’t until 2 minutes after the minor penalty ended that Tomcats struck! Sami Loignon was looking to move the powerplay forward from the defensive zone and took a hit from Braden Forest. He may have been too aggressive despite the hit as Sparks picked up the puck and charged forward while he was caught back. Sparks faked a pass infront of the net and moved it back to the trailing Loignon who snapped one stick side on Stulreiter and it was suddenly 1-0 for Tomcats. Deferiet put the pressure on again shot after shot being turned aside by Kivinen and in the dying minutes Tomcats put it out of reach! Hutchinson wins a timely faceoff in the Offensive end and the puck gets cycled around to Iriekpen who shoots along the ice and Hutchinson in front of goal gets a tip to lift it over Stulreiters left pad. 2-0 and out of reach now. A stunning upset for Tomcats! They were outshot 40-20 in this game but Kivinen was flawless, earning him the first star nod on the night. Deferiet will be devastated to lose causing 10 turnovers and having a big amount of possession in the offensive zone tonight. Their Power play let them down though, after having a good night yesterday they went 0/5 including one major penalty. Tomcats will now face Muskateers at home in what will be the final for the Plate! Leopards will now face Pittsboro for pride in what will be no more than a 3rd place game. Disappointing for the highest seeded team in the competition!
  9. Post game for the 4-2 Road victory of Minnedosa Musketeers over Pittsboro Plastic Attack. People flooding in the stadium for a tie with the big boys from Minnedosa. Pittsboro are coming off a rather unfortunate OT loss in which there was unsubstantiated rumors of coach Wendel using a laser pointer in the keepers eyes for the final goal. We don’t like to speculate here butwe have heard that the referees in the game were given free eye tests at the local optometrist. What a nice gesture! To start the game former Musketeer Bohumir Kovar will take the opening faceoff against the man who took his job, Bryan Colombo! They drop the puck and Colombo wins it giving Kovar a little nudge on the way by!. This leads to Modest stepping up and hitting League on the puck after he passed it off to Calce and we can tell this one is going to be feisty! Calce gets a shot off quickly saved by Tikhomirov, the newest signing for Pittsboro and Fiala chases it into the corner only to be hit hard from behind by Lehtonen. Fiala regains his footing and looks straight to Lehtonen charging and giving him a cross check knocking him off the puck again. I am not sure what the ref is watching but if this continues someone is going to get stretchered off. 14 minutes into the second the home team draw first blood! Tikhomirov makes a casual save from a Gobern snap shot off the right circle and the rebound goes straight to Trnavsky who quickly turns and knocks it out to Olli who directs a pass across ice to a streaking Carron. He carries it in and beats Friis stick side with a quick wrister and put them up 1-0. Near the end of the period Minnedosa drew level though on a neutral ice pass from Camarillo hitting Fiala who splits the defense and goes to the backhand to slide it under a sprawling Tikhomirov. The defense was so beaten Pittsboro called their timeout with 30 seconds left… in the first frame but in the end the period closed out 1-1. Pittsboro wanted to make sure they got back in the lead right away to start the period and they did. Olli went in on the forcheck and knocked down Taushev in the defensive zone. Mikus picked the puck up the loose puck behind the goal and threw it into the slot where Germain made no mistake ringing the crossbar on the way into the goal to take the advantage back to 1. That was short lived however as Hudspeth wins a faceoff in the offensive zone and Camarillo feeds it quickly across ice for a Fiala one timer into the open goal. Second goal of the night for the Minnedosa sniper and brings them level again. It took until 12 minutes but the visitors got their first lead of the night. Marcheterre, holds the puck in at the blueline and sends it across to the other point where Compos lets it go padded away by Tikhomirov but the rebound is jumped on right away by Hudspeth and bats it in. Scrappy goal but takes the lead none the less. Less than 3 minutes until the end of the period and Minnedosa doubles their lead after Goddard makes a big hit on Mays in the offensive zone but the puck continues sliding out to Sonke Heyde at pace. He carries it into the zone and circles the net missing the wraparound but the puck slides out to Bryan Colombo charging the net where he picks it up in the slot and shoots it hard glove side. Six minutes into the third there was a good chance for Pittsboro. Yan Sakovich took a shot from the high slot which Hudspeth blocks but the puck goes to Giguere who gets tied up by Taushev but still manages to make Friis make an amazing glove save sliding across his net. They kept the pressure on for over a minute until finally the Minnedosa player touched the puck to start their man advantage. Minnedosa successfully killed off the penalty allowing no shots which is unusual for this team as their penalty killing was 4th worst in the league most of the season. As the period wore down Pittsboro were putting the pressure on but thanks to timely blocks and some good saves the lead was preserved and the game ended as the 2nd period ended, 4-2 the final! Once again, Minnedosa has been dominant in the faceoff circle with a 75% success rate and still hold a narrow lead in the tournament thus far with 6 points. Pittsboro played safe with the puck, not giving the puck away once and forcing 7 takeaways along with not taking one penalty. Their return of 1 point after 2 games lands them in 3rd place with one to play.
  10. Standings to date: pts - record - GF - GA 1. Minnedosa Musketeers - 3 - 1-0-0-0 - 5 - 3 2. Tullahoma Tomcats - 2 - 0-1-0-0 - 3 - 2 3. Pittsboro Plastic Attack - 1 - 0-0-1-0 - 2 - 3 4. Deferiet Leopards - 0 - 0-0-0-1 - 3 - 5 also updated bottom of first post
  11. Post game wrap up of Minnedosa Musketeers 5-3 win over the Deferiet Leopards! Cold night in the great white north but a great matchup between two bitter rivals. Minnedosa had dropped all of their last 4 meetings last season and are looking to prove themselves in this game! If they want to do so they will have to beat new signing Štulreiter in goal. The opening faceoff is won by Colombo and the game is underway. 30 seconds in, a faceoff to the right of Štulreiter and Hudspeth wins the draw back to Taushev. He quickly puts it across to the other circle where Camarillo wrists it on target and Hudspeth gets in front and tips it short side on Štulreiter. What a nightmare start for him! 1 shot and 1 goal and the home team is up by 1. The next 4 minutes was all Minnedosa with Štulreiter getting into the game making 3 top saves, finally Deferiet gets on the counter and forces Friis to make his first save, which he coughs up a rebound but Mays gets infront of Tornqvist’s shot to block it. It bounces out to the blueline where Fiala picks it up for Minnedosa without a defender in sight… he is off to the races and the Musketeers leading scorer makes no mistake with a little move to the right and lifting it top corner over Štulreiter. No chance for the keeper 2-0. This is where the game began getting a little rough, Hocevar getting an elbow high on Strba, then Camarillo taking a stupid slashing penalty to even it up half way through the penalty. Of the ensuing faceoff 4 on 4 Overall won the faceoff vs Mulvihill and Taushev picked it up behind the net knocking it around the boards and into the neutral zone picked up by Gobern. He brought the puck in and plays it towards the goal where Overall has set up shot and bangs it in for a solid 3-0 lead! You can hear coach Paul giving his guys an earful on the bench after that horrid defending. After 3 more Minnedosa penalties in the period finally the breakthrough for Leopards. With mere seconds left in the 4th PP attempt of the period Kizek lays a bit hit on Tornqvist in the defensive zone but then loses the puck on a poor cross ice pass to Bob Homes who lasers it past Friis to get the visitors on the board which is where the period ends. 2nd period starts uneventfull until Stalder lands a 2 handed slash on Hudspeth breaking his stick and the get another penalty making it 5 on 3 for Minnedosa for a whole minute. They managed to only generate 2 shots and at the end of the powerplay Hudspeth runs through the keeper out of frustration drawing a penalty of his own and a crowd of Leopards around him. Minnedosa would pay for that sloppiness as Overall pushes too far forward looking for a shorthanded goal and gets taken out hard by Tornqvist who turns it up ice quickly. Tornquvist and Sayansky plays a give and go fooling the defense and puts it cross ice to Mulvihill who fires it under the glove making it a 1 goal game. Two minutes later Minnedosa gives up the lead, Štulreiter making a big save off Gobern and choosing to play it out to Yurevich who carries it up the ice and into the offensive zone. He drops it to Washam who puts a solid shot low saved off the pads by Friis but it lands on De-Boer’s stick and puts it into the open side quick and clean. Of the ensuing faceoff though, Straba wins the draw back to Compos who puts it forward for Lopes. Lopes holds off a check and throws it to the net where Brennan Slade gets a stick on it, putting it off of the chest of Štulreiter on the deflection but burying his own rebound underneath and renewing the lead. That would be the end of Štulreiter’s night, the coach seeing enough and bringing Zhutov in. In the 3rd Deferiet wanted to get on the front foot and level early, unfortunately while Lehoullier was carrying the puck in the neutral zone he took big open ice hit from Camarillo and turned it over to Fiala. He passed it to Camarillo again heading over the line and circled behind the net. Kizek pinched in from the point and got the pass to lift it over Zhutov from the top of the circle. Off the restart Taushnev leaves his feet and labels Stewart in the neutral zone but there is no call. Stalder too offense to this and after a stoppage speared Taushev right in the gut. Minnedosa players charged in and there was a scrum, the ref mananged to pull Stalder off to the box but Pell and Mays got into it. The two big men laid a few big hits but in the end Mays landed a big blow and took Pell to the ice. Nothing eventful came from the powerplay and the game ended as it stood there 5-3 and a big win for Minnedosa. Minnedosa had a bit more possession 53-47 but the shots were fairly equal 31-26. The Leopards special teams were on tonight, going 2/7 on the PP and 5/5 on the PK. Minnedosa’s biggest advantage was their faceoffs, winning 63% of the draws which helped contribute to their possession numbers. All 3 stars were Musketeers, Fiala the first with one goal and assist and a solid +3. Camarillo picks up 2nd star with 2 assists +3 and 3 hits. Taushnev got the nod for 3rd star with 2 assists, 2 hits and 2 blocks.
  12. http://www.gameplanhockey.com/game?gpid=182358 For if you prefer to look yourself Post game wrap up of Tullahoma Tomcats 3-2 overtime win over the Plastic Attack from Pittsboro. The first period got under way with a flurry and the Plastic Attack come on fast and hard with a quick rip from the top of the circle by Sahlberg. If not for a quick glove by Kivinen the game could well have had its first goal right off the hop. The action turned end to end with chances at both ends until Hutchinson caught Lehtonen in the hand as he was driving to the net. After a bit of shoving Hutchinson gets dragged to the box for the first powerplay of the night. Not even 30 seconds in Kovar ties up Hutka in the faceoff circle to the right of Kivinen and Germain pinches in to one time it across the slot where Sahlberg makes no mistake this time and it is quickly 1-0 for Pittsboro as coach Wendel throws his hands in the air at the obvious blunder. The period continued with Pittsboro dominating, outshooting Tomcats 14-7 in the first frame but only having one goal to show for it! Sahlberg, who had 5 shots in the first frame; doubled the lead early in the second. Off the opening faceoff Kovar wins it back to Casey Modest who threads a cross ice pass to a sprinting Sahlberg making a slick move to the backhand and lifting it over Kivinen. 2-0 and cruising at home but all that was about to change not even 2 minutes later, while under pressure in the zone Mikus tries to carry the puck along the boards and gets levelled by Sparks. The Pittsboro fans were looking at the referee to put his arm up but play continued with Loignon grabbing the puck and banking it off the boards back to Sparks breaking away with Hutka 2 on 1. Sparks fakes then lifts the pass over the defender and Hutka slides it under Teixeira to quickly make it a 1 goal game again which seemed to even up the momentum. The game was back and forth again with very few stoppages. 17 minutes in the Tomcats levelled it! Faceoff to the left of Teixeira won cleanly by Alexandrov and picked up by Macri pushing it in the corner and chased down by Bastarache who played it back to the point where Rehberg lets a laser of a one timer go handcuffing Teixeira on the blocker side and sending the one Tomcat fan in the crowd into hysterics! Third period started the same as the rest, Plastic Attack taking to the offensive and keeping the pressure on. There were no goals in this period but there were some tense moments and the game was beginning to get a bit more physical. Goddard on the fore check knocking Hutchinson off the puck and creating a quick chance that Teixeira saves quickly and comfortably. The regulation ends 2-2 and we are headed to OT shots heavily favoring Pittsboro 41-27. We would have a winner in OT, but it might not be the team you think. Against the run of play Teixeira holds on to a shot from Iriekpen for a faceoff deep in the Plastic Attack’s zone. Plastic Attack sends out Kovar who has been excellent on the draw tonight but loses to Alexandrov on this one. Lappi pinches in from the point and wires one off the post and in. The visitors steal a game that some would argue could have gone the other way. You would wonder why Kivinen wouldn’t get a star with 42 of 44 stops on the night for a .955 save percentage! In the end Lappi gets first star for a solid defensive game and the game winning goal not to mention a +2 on the night. 2nd Star goes to Sahlberg who led plastic attack with 10 shots that game and 2 beautiful goals. Kovar rounds out the stars with his 2 assists and 67% from the faceoff dot. Will will head over to Minnedosa in a few moments to wrap up the 1st game between Minnedosa and Defeiret shortly....
  13. First games today! Pittsboro vs Tullahoma Minnedosa vs Deferiet Going to try and do a post game for each.... stay tuned

LOL you fleeced him That is all
  15. Have you ever thought that Preseason has been a bit dull? No pride or glory...... and certainly no fresh biscuits to eat! Our world is clearly lacking in its namesake, so a group of us are having a pre-season friendly tournament to entertain us and thought we might as well drag you guys along for the ride as well. The teams involved this season are: 1. Pittsboro Plastic Attack - Long time BHL team freshly promoted from the 2nd spot, clearly threw the final games to get to 2nd and cover his mad ninja skills... . very sneaky! We will have to keep an eye on him as it is rumored they use plastic swords to impale unsuspecting opponents during the game! Watch those injuries! 2. Tullahoma Tomcats - Promoted in 1st at season's end and are letting everyone know it! Coach Wendel thinks he is pretty awesome but he may have to keep that ego in check as he is up against some raw talent in this series. His lads are clearly still in party mode and will need to ensure they get off the sauce if they want any chance of winning this prestigious piece of cra..... erm I mean this incredible trophy! 3. Minnedosa Musketeers - SHL team for three seasons now and constantly riding Leopards coat tails. It has driven them to depression where all manager Little signs are fat bastards that run over people and play for the garbage goals. Some pundits give them a shot though, based solely on the fact there is biscuits involved and boy those boys love biscuits! If they win good luck even making the locker room with them! 4. Deferiet Leopards - SHL team for three season and well established hard rockers! When not on the ice you can catch them down at open mic night screeeeeeching on guitars and pretending they have vocal talent. Probably the class of the tournament unless the hookers and blow get them.... ah the life of a celebrity! The rules for us are simple.... each team will play each other once in the pre season (I will do my best to keep an updated table in here. Winner has the most points and if there happens to be teams level the tie breakers are results between teams level, goal difference and finally goals for. If it is still tied after that I am going to set a poll up and we will all have a vote to see who wins! We can't leave a tie at the top after all.... like any of us will play nice or share their biscuits!?!?!?!? The draw is as follow first team is home: Day 4 – 1 vs 2 (2-3 OT) and 3 vs 4 (5-3) Day 5 – 1 vs 3 (2-4) and 2 vs 4 (2-0) Day 6 – 4 vs 1 (3-4 SO) and 2 vs 3 (3-6) In the event the home team doesn't send their game off..... please proceed to door number 3 where Olga the Norwegian Dom will whip you for your incompetence. That is all for now, if this goes off well I may look at ways to expand it for future seasons. Standings to date: pts - record - GF - GA 1. Minnedosa Musketeers - 9 - 3-0-0-0 - 15 - 8 2. Tullahoma Tomcats - 5 - 1-1-0-1 - 8 - 8 3. Pittsboro Plastic Attack - 3 - 0-1-1-1 - 8 - 10 4. Deferiet Leopards - 1 - 0-0-1-2 - 6 - 11
  16. OK I was wrong... LIHL to IHL is just double in cap so is only times 2. However a base salary is 25k in LIHL and 50k in IHL. as 69k is already above the IHL base... it will be times 1.25 like you had said
  17. it has been so long that I don't remember what the base wages are per level anymore. It is somewhere in the forum though I will have a look. I do however have a good understanding of the salary jumps. It matches the increase of salary cap which is 3.3 times I believe for that level "IF" the salary will be "below" the base wage for the next level after that calculation. If it ends up more than the base level after the previous calculation it is the higher value of these 2 options... 1. current salary x 1.25 2. Promoted league's base salary

  20. On my way up to GHL next season so have a large number of players in my affiliate and maybe some of my current starters that will be available. Plenty of Top BHL calibre players and SHL average players included in the tradeblock. Inquire about anyone you like even if they are not listed though and will let you know their status. Mainly looking for picks, prospects or get some guys that will help in my quest to stay up next season. PM me or just send the offers over. Thanks
