  1. Dude do you think that you are only One who have had money issues? Your budget is 140 for moth, I know its not much but i have been there and much deeper. And so have been many others. Out of that 140 the 2e mothly is easily handled. The question is that do you like the game so much that you are willing to pay that 2e mothly. Its totally up to you how do you use your money but i know that every moth you will use that same money for a bag of chips or Something else what you dont nesesarily need.

How you come to 140?!?!? As I say, you have no idea... You remind me the ads at tv with their "easy payment of.." So yeah classic shit. A prob are always easily resolved when it not yours huh. The next step you will tell me that if I really want, I would walk....

Anyway, I not care of what you think that you know or not, it will not change the damn reality.

in short, I saw they will make a free league that I will join and see how it look like. From my side,. this end the discussion. Sorry to you and everyone for bring my problem as it not yours, and yeah it change nothing that game maker need money,

Let talk about the thread, the trade!

So, no I will not trade Marco IIan guys.....

  2. Jiihee, do you know social welfare? Right now I have 35$ for the two reamaining week in the month... This is what I call not too much.

Sorry, but you seem to not have idea what is poverty. You wanna come in my wheelchair for 1 month and see what is it?

  3. Sadly I will have to stop to play too...

Idk why they not make pro league where you pay and a free amateur league. This way is not a pay to win as everyone who pay play together as the free user...Anyway

I understand they need money, but when you are poor you are poor.

  4. For our team we are owner/general manager, scout, coach.... for me, we should be only a owner GM.

It a personal point of view, but making line, tactic, training and especially scouting it annoying, and the word are weak.

I would love to make a team of coach, trainer, scouting personnal as micromanagement... Cause.what I like, it make a team.

we could hire team as we hire player and then set some parameter they would fit more or less with.

For scout as exemple, we could have a "next draft team need" parameter.

The X number of scout make list base on "higher rank list"/team need/their own preference. and the day of draft your could use yours shortlist or one of your scout over higher rank.

We could use the personnal team or still not and do it all by your own as we do now.

Looking for pick/prospect or good 2way in return.

  7. Being waiver eligible still defeats the purpose of one way contracts in this game though. While you continuously say that you do understand it you still say things like this in bold.

I admit my way to say it are not the best. I just think it would be less confuse for ppl especially for new one if 24+yo not two way, so they can be sure if send down a two way he will no be claim and only have to care with 1way. Maybe for old player it can be called another name like "theird level" or something for the same purpose.

Anders could use a hybrid like what you suggest and I would have no problem with it but it would require a recoding of one way contracts.

Yes it exactly this but you right can be recoding problem so not so simple.

Maybe you do understand how one way contracts work in promotion/relegation leagues and would rather a hybrid system and you are speaking in terms of that system so me saying that you don't understand it was me misreading what you were saying. If that is the case I do apologize for the error on my part. The way you are saying it makes it look like you are viewing 1 way contracts in this game as the same as 1 way contracts in the NHL when they aren't at all.

You not have to apologize my friend,  you are rigth it the way im saying it and as I was telling it me who make thing confuse.

  8. If the reason is to prevent people from hoarding players on their farm teams, then perhaps the minor league contract should just simply count for more than the 10% it currently does to the primary team.

Yeah, true if player cost like 50% we would think twice.

  9. It wouldn't be ridiculous considering that the number of young players 24 and under capable of contributing as at least the equivalent in this game are rather plentiful.

    Ok,

For players to be eligible to be claimed they have to be a certain age. Say 24. When they become eligible is completely open for discussion however I do think the minimum age considered should be 23. If they signed at 21 they have only been on that team for 2 full seasons. Any less I think would be at least a bit unfair to the team.

Let say unfair insted of ridiculous so.

Why do I not agree when you think I was saying the same earlier?

I was talking about player under 24yo, and yes we saying pretty much the same on this, we just not use same world, as i say i will use the word unfair now.

You view 1 way contracts in this game the same (fundamentally at least) as 1 way contracts in the NHL.

I only have propose to let 1way can be eligible for be sent to waivers.... I never propose to let them can be trade in lower league. You know NHL can send 1way to waivers but cant trade with KHL....

Again you are talking about 1 way contracts here like they are NHL equivalent as you are completely missing the point of the 1 way contract in this game. The point of a 1 way contract in this game is that you cannot send the player down to a lower league at all. That includes farm teams.

Rainsilent lol, I not miss the point, it you who just focus on it. I repeat, what I propose it let us can send 1way in minor but keep the 1way rule for trading puspose.

Again this isn't how 1 way contracts work in this game. The point of a 1 way contract in this game is that your exampled 24yo 82 overall player with said 1 way contract can't play in the SHL due to the contractual clause of the aforementioned 1 way contract no matter if they can, much less if they deserve to play in the SHL.

And again you focus to much on it when i never show that i not understand. As I never say that this 1 way of 82 overal can be trade down in SHL...I just say that at this age he deserve more to be sign as 1way in SHL that in GHL. (for his skill and deamanding of waiting... I have say 82 because im not sure of what good or not in GHL for this age, but it only a exemple, let say 81 or 80 if it more realistic.)

I didn't find it confusing or hard to understand at all.

I dont think it hard to understant too, but I feel that im confusing as english it not my first language.

.....we fundamentally agree on what should be going on.

    I think this too.

The only problem with your vision as you put it is the one way contracts. Your completely making them void of their purpose in this game. 1 way contracts in this game are intended to prevent players too good to play in a lower league from playing in a lower league.

And again I have never show that i not understand it, this is you who make the short cut and assume this. Ofc the rules for one way in trade need to stand.

    So for ressuming my though..

18-23yo only want sign 2 way and they cannot be claim if send into minor.

Make impossible to sign a two way more that 3 years.

At the age of 24 a players ask 1 way contract, the same trading rule that now for 1way still be apply, but this player can be send into minor and be claim by same league level and lower.

at 34 yo (can be less) a player ask 2 way contract, can be trade down and can be claim in waiver if send to minor.

Voila, and it only my idea.

Adding conditions shouldn't be hard to code.

As my idea would be done by adding condition too, this where that it can be a real problem.

  10. Why would it be ridiculous?

Cause in my mind was telling it for 23yo player and less only and thinking everyone can read my mind.... Yeah i not help myself to be understood lol

edit: For whatever reason, I feel like I'm being an ass in this post -- don't take it like that, I'm just trying to bring arguments to help develop better ideas.

Of course not, I only see it as argument and it better to tell what can be bad or good in any idea. And I like your different level contract, can be Level entry, two way, 1 way. As I like rainsilent waivers Idea.

Anyway you both have way more experience and know thing better that me.

(sorry for double post i was not able change quote for telling nickname as headline...and just found how it really work)

  11. What happens when the player gets back from injury if you have signed a new player during that time and you would be over the cap?

Good question. Maybe Matt answer are good way to do, or maybe the IR salary still can be count for signature/trade.

  12.

They still do happen though. 2 recent examples. Greg McKegg, 24 at the time, and Seth Griffith, 23, were claimed via waivers just last season.

It cause they had played at least 3 years or 60 game in NHL=experience. But for us I think it would be ridiculous lost a 23 yo players whaterver his number of game played.

Anyway idk why you not agree on this as you have talk about players under 24yo in same way in your first post.

It also makes no sense to force 1 way contracts by a certain age.

It would force GM to make choice to sign them or not and send this 1way to waivers if needed (especialy for respect roster limit) when signed.

...should only be determined by player skill and demand of wanting...

In fact, it would but for the right league level. A 24yo player with 82 overall would can be sign as a 1way in GHL but deserve to play in SHL whit this level contract.

I really think it would force GM to let lots player go and not hold them, but it would only work with strict roster limitation.

As I say, it only my vision and maybe it not good at all, I respect you not see same and sorry for not explain well my though I make thing confuse lol.

  13.

If it's like the NHL, then a 1-way contract after waivers would mean that the player is still getting paid the same as though they were in the NHL. But yes, they can go on waivers.

Exactly, i know NHL rule and i was only talking in waivers purpose.

Why should it be age dependent? Older fringe players don't deserve one-ways.

I have say that a 34 years old would need to claim 2way contract.

Honestly, I'd prefer that this game not 100% copy everything the NHL does.

Same but we can take it as exemple as other league too.

Also as said above a lot of 2 way contracts in the NHL are waiver eligible.

I know this but, Rainsilent...I have talk about age and those two way are elegible only because they have reach this age or exp.

I have maybe bad explain too. I mean the two way must be claim ONLY as entry level contract or by old fringe player you want still in the game. In the case of old player yeah im ok for can be waivers eligible, but never ever as a young prospect under 24yo!!!... Because yes we can promote and demote, and this need to be keep, at certain age your player become 1 way even if you promote they stay 1 way for this new league. At least it just my vision of it.

  14.

It is an anti demotion clause.

Yes, like NHLers...When they got a 1way clause they are sure to not play in AHL... as long they not put on waivers....

...no justified logical reason to send a player that wants a one way clause to your farm team. They are going to be the best players on your team.

Where the system need to change...it is in contract negotiation. Whatever the overall, all player need to ask more for sign one way contract... Like, as soon a player reach 24  years old he asking for one way. Two way contract need to be set ALWAYS as 3years or less.

So only young player (under 24) or old player (over 34) would be willing to sign a two way. And it up to you to sign a 24 yo player 1way with a "lowest" overal in your team for any purpose. So this way, mostly you will let them sign in lower league if not be sure to can play them or at least keep in your roster (roster need to be limited too, between 22 to 25 players... depend the level of league.. 25 in low and Iron league, 23 BHL,SHL, and only 22 in GHL)

With this I think 1 way contract waivers can be done. If you let Lower league claim waivers(but the player still can't be a trade in lower) it can be interesting.

And i repeat, have to put in waivers a player that you have sign as two way it would be sooooo ridiculous...

  15. So nice to see such enthusiasm and competition coming from the lowest league ! Keep going guy, you are the next York Wolf Pack or Violet Volcano (as well all the team in the top 3 to 6 for in SHL) ;)

So yeah, I wish good luck to all team from every league for last few games of S10 and his the playoff.

  16. Thanks and congrats to you Exxon, well deserved.

Will keep a close look on playoff, the four team there are so solid! I would not be surprise see 2 more BHL team promote in SHL,

    Good luck guys.
