  1. My personal opinion, yes. I've never had glitch problems with either PF21 or PB21 but the little things (like not signing 96 ovr free agents to league minimum) don't appear to happen in PB21. My one biggest complaint is lack of control over league structure. There's no editing divisions. If you expand to 32 (the max you can go) one team goes in Northwest division, one goes in Southwest division. That means trying to create a Kentucky Colonels expansion kills the game, as you are stuck in a division with Utah, Denver and Phoenix. Not exactly realistic. Sure I can always relocate a team and setup the league from the getgo that way.
  2. Up first this week the Charlotte Hornets host the Dallas Mavericks. DALLAS MAVERICKS GET 13 POINT WIN OVER HORNETS Luka Doncic put on a seminar tonight, heā€™d play 35 minutes and put up a season high 54 points. Heā€™d also have 6 rebounds and 14 assists. He was 19-23 from the field, 9-13 from beyond the arc and 7 -10 from the charity stripe. Forward Kristaps Porzingis would add in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Devonteā€™ Graham led all Hornets with 22 points and 5 assists on 7-9 shooting. Heā€™d also go 5-7 from beyond the arc and 3-3 from the free throw line. Rookie Anthony Edwards led the scoring from the bench, going 6-13 from the field and 0-4 from beyond the arc while scoring 16 points. Charlotte outscored Dallas 48-32 in the paint, while Dallas had 17-10 in 2nd chance points and 12-10 difference in fast break points. Both teams move to 5-6 on the season. PACERS HOLD ON FOR 11 POINT WIN AT SPECTRUM CENTER The Charlotte Hornets jumped out to a 8 point lead at the end of the 1st quarter before the Pacers outscored the Hornets 31-19 in the 2nd quarter to take a 55-51 lead at the half. The Pacers would stretch the lead more in the 3rd quarter, outscoring the Hornets 28-16 in the 3rd quarter. They would able to hold on to get the win 104-93. Forward T.J. Warren would led the Pacers, scoring 22 points with 9 rebounds. Domantas Sabonis would add in 15 points on his 7-17 shooting from the field. Victor Oladipo, who has only started one game for the Pacers this season, scored 6 points coming off the bench. Forward Glenn Robinson III led the Hornets with 16 points and 2 rebounds in his 26 minutes of action. Heā€™d go 6-9 from the field, 3-4 from beyond the arc and 1-1 from the charity stripe. Terry Rozier would put up 29 points coming off the bench. He went 8-15 from the field, 6-11 from beyond the arc and 7-9 from free throw line. Unfortunately for Hornet fans, he injured his hip late in the game and as of press time is listed as probably. With a expected 100% return dater of 11/18. 76ā€™ERS GET 27 POINT WIN AT WELLS FARGO CENTER The 20,478 in attendance at the Wells Fargo Center went home happy as the Philadelphia 76ā€™ers get a 27 point in thanks in part to outscoring the Hornets 45-23 in the 2nd quarter. The rest of the game was very close but the Hornets never could make a comeback. Center Al Horford led the 76ā€™ers, scoring 25 points with 7 rebounds on 11-16 shooting in his 29 minutes of action. Center Joel Embiid would add 24 points with 14 rebounds and 3 blocks. Forward P.J. Washington led all Hornets with 14 points on his 4-10 shooting, while going 1-3 from beyond the arc. He also had 6 rebounds in his 24 minutes of game time. Guard Malid Monk would add 18 points off the bench, with 6 rebounds. The Hornets have now lost 3 straight. They travel to take on the Boston Celtics (9-3, 4-0 Home) on Friday. CELTICS HANG ON FOR 9 POINT WIN For those watching, it was a back and forth game that featured both teams making multiple comebacks. Boston would get out to a 36-19 lead at the end of the 1st quarter before the Hornets would outscore them by 10 in the 2nd quarter to go into the half trailing by 7. Boston would stretch that lead to 17 by the end of the 3rd quarter. The Hornets would outscore the Celtics 29-21 in the 4th but it wasnā€™t enough to make a come back. Jayson Tatum led the Boston Celtics with 22 points in his 40 minutes. Heā€™d also have 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Gordon Hayward would add 19 points and 6 assists in his 34 minutes. Rookie guard RJ Hampton added 10 points. Devonteā€™ Graham led the Hornets with 23 points with 6 rebounds and 14 assists in his 40 minutes of game time. He would go 9-18 from the field and 4-8 beyond the arc. Guard Malik Monk would lead the bench with 24 points and 3 rebounds. The Hornets have now lost 4 in a row and fall to last in the Southeast Division.
  3. The Nashville Stars start a 4 game series with the AL East leading New York Yankees (25-14). Stars Sneak Past Yankees, 5-4 The Nashville Stars faced a tough opponent in New York pitcher Gerrit Cole, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Music City Field by a final score of 5-4. Cole went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Andrew Kittredge picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Zack Britton was tagged with the loss. The 4th-place Stars have won 5 straight games. Willy Adames was the walk-off hero for Nashville. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stars shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home. The home run was his only hit of the game but he made it count.LF Austin Meadows went 2 for 5 with a double in the 9th inning. Adames expressed little emotion after the game. ā€œEvery game we win now,ā€ he said, ā€œis one less win weā€™ll need to get in the end.ā€ RP Andrew Kittredge picked up the win, pitching 1.2 innings. RP Zack Britton took the loss for the Yankees. Stars Top Yankees 1-0 Behind Glasnow, 6th straight win for stars The Nashville Stars did just enough to secure a victory over the New York Yankees, 1-0, at Music City Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Tyler Glasnow. Nick Anderson was called on to finish, recording his 7th save. Nashville has now reeled off 6 straight wins. Glasnow, who dominated for Nashville, earned the victory to move to 2-4. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 9. New York batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally. ā€œI had a good game plan,ā€ said Glasnow. ā€œI made my pitches.ā€ His manager concurred. ā€œIt was all there,ā€ Kevin Cash said, ā€œthe velocity, the sharpness of his pitches.ā€ The Stars scattered 9 hits throughout the game, being lead by catcher Mike Zunino who went 3 for 3 with a strikeout. LF Austin Meadows would pick up his 8th stolen base of the season, while both 3B Yandy Diaz and RF Hunter Renfroe were caught stealing. Stanton Goes on Rampage, Stars Get Blown Out 14-2 Giancarlo Stanton did more than his part as the New York Yankees topped the Nashville Stars today at Music City Field. The Yankees left fielder pounded out 5 hits to pace his team to a 14-2 thumping of the Stars. Giancarlo Stanton struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a three-run home run off Jose Alvarado in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. This year Stanton has hit at a .286 pace and produced 41 RBIs, 16 home runs and scored 32 runs. CF Kevin Kiermaier led the Stars on offense, going 1 for 4 but did have 2 RBIā€™s on that single hit. SP Ryan Yarbrough lasted 4.1 innings, throwing 76 pitches and giving up 6 runs on 7 hits. He took the loss and fell to 2-4. SP Masahiro Tanaka would pitch 8.1 innings for the Yankees and pick up the win. Giving up 6 hits and 2 runs on his 101 pitches thrown. Yankees Score 2-1 Win Over Nashville The New York Yankees got a good effort from starter James Paxton in defeating the Nashville Stars at Music City Field. The final score was 2-1. Paxton, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 9 and giving up no walks. Aroldis Chapman collected his 9th save. It could have been a different outcome for New York, had it not been for Gleyber Torres, the two-time All-Star . Torres contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put New York up, 2-0. ā€œWe take it day by day here,ā€ said Torres, ā€œand today was a good one for us.ā€ New York leads the American League East Division by 2Ā½ games. 1B Nate Lowe scored the lone run for the Stars, heā€™d go 1-4 on the day with 2 strikeouts. Starer Brendan McKay threw 99 pitches over his 6 innings while giving up 6 hits and 2 runs. 05/11/2020- Andrew Benintendi Boston Trades Benintendi for St. Louisā€™s Martinez: The Boston Red Sox have made a deal sending 25-year-old LF Andrew Benintendi and 23-year-old minor league RHP Thad Ward to the St. Louis Cardinals for 28-year-old RHP Carlos Martinez. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. For the year Benintendi has hit at a .247 clip with 17 RBIs, 5 home runs and 25 runs scored. Thus far this season, Martinez has tossed 38 innings in 8 starts, fanned 55 batters, walked 10 and put up a 5.21 ERA with 2 wins and 4 losses. Carlos Martinez 05/14/2020- Erik Kratz New Yorkā€™s Kratz to Retire: Erik Kratz said years of hard work have taken their toll on him physically, and heā€™s decided itā€™s now time to retire. ā€œI donā€™t know any way other than full throttle, Iā€™ve always been that way,ā€ he said. ā€œGoing so hard for so many years might have cost me some time on my career, but I donā€™t regret a thing.ā€ The New York Yankees catcher is leaving the game behind at age 39. Kratzā€™s all-time stats include: 182 hits, 36 doubles, no triples, 31 home runs and 101 RBIs in 326 games. He is batting .207 with 1 stolen base and has scored 78 runs. Kirby Yates Max Kepler San Diego Trades Nix for Minnesotaā€™s Kepler: You canā€™t always get what you want, but sometimes you find a deal anyway. The Baseball News Network is reporting that San Diego and Minnesota have made a swap with 33-year-old RHP Kirby Yates, 24-year-old minor league RHP Jacob Nix and $330,000 in cash being shipped to the Twins and in return the Padres would get 27-year-old RF Max Kepler. San Diego general manager A.J. Preller said the two sides were close to a blockbuster trade before agreeing upon a smaller scale transaction. ā€œThis is just a bit of housekeeping compared to what we wanted to do,ā€ he said. ā€œI wonā€™t name names, but the potential deal we were close to making would have certainly grabbed some headlines.ā€ A source inside the San Diego organization said the two sides might not be done dealing, and another transaction could be in the works. For the year Kepler is batting .250 with 11 home runs, 30 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
  4. I'm not a huge NBA fan but I myself like it. My biggest complaint is that it's pretty much useless to expand as you can't edit divisions after expanding, Which frankly is unacceptable if you are gonna allow expansion. It's gonna put your two expansion teams, one in northwest and one in southwest. So if you want to expand to any cities on the east coast, you will be playing in a division with Pheonix, Denver and Utah. Which is completely unrealistic. So no point in trying to make the Kentucky Colonels.
  5. VANDERBILT PICKS UP 15 POINT WIN VS INDIANA STATE Sophomore PG Bill Floyd had his best game of the season tonight, scoring points with 3 rebounds and 1 assist in his 27 minutes of game time. But it wasnā€™t enough for the Sycamores to upset the Commodores. Sophomore C Rashif Murray would add in 12 points with 11 rebounds in his 28 minutes. Junior SF Bobby Tate would lead off Commodores coming off the bench by scoring his season high of 21 points. 7. It's a massive new User Interface upgrade. Some like it, some don't. Great thing about Wolverine Studios is they always offer a demo that can be downloaded on their website. I like it better then 20 but I still don't like it as well as PB21 or even CB20.
  8. CB20 was released March of this year. So would expect 21 to be March of next year.
  9. I would expect it around Bowl Game/Championship time. CF20 was released January 28th 2020. First access will probably start 1st quarter of next month.

These sabermetrical speculators will be traipsing across the fruited plain, hunting for the ideal find, trying to decipher the will, drive and pure passion on the unknown youthful faces before them. Some will rely on tried-and-true baseball knowledge, others psychology. And others will live by luck alone. Though their final assessments will be made and hashed over many times before draft day, the repercussions of draft day, good or bad, will endure long after the dust has settled. At any rate, teams now have thirty days to scout the draft pool prior to the draft. The Transactions page also gets a new section dedicated to the pool. The early favorites to be high picks are the following: Austin Martin, 21 year-old SS out of college. Jordan Walker, 17 year-old 3B out of high-school. Nick Gonzales, 20 year-old 2B out of college. Pete Crow-Armstrong, 18 year-old CF out of high-school. Robert Hassell III, 18 year-old RF out of high-school. Ed Howard, 18 year-old SS out of high-school. Jurickson Profar Setback for San Diego and Jurickson Profar: San Diego Padres second baseman Jurickson Profar informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from a hamstring strain. ā€œItā€™s a bit frustrating, sure,ā€ Profar admitted. ā€œI want to be out on the field. At the same time, I donā€™t want to make things worse and miss even more time because Iā€™m pushing it too hard.ā€ Padres doctors told BNN Profar would not return for 3 weeks. So far this season Profar is batting .357 with no home runs. Miami Trades Cervelli for Houstonā€™s James: The Marlins have reached a deal with Houston, sending 34-year-old C Francisco Cervelli to the Astros in exchange for 27-year-old RHP Josh James. The 31-year-old starting pitcher has been in treatment for a mild hamstring strain and was responding well until he suffered sharp pains during a light workout. In 7 starts this season Strasburg has fashioned a 0-3 record and a 4.30 ERA.
  12. Today the Nashville Stars wrap up a 4 game series vs the AL West leading Oakland Athletics (18-14). This series starts a 6 game road trip, after the 4 game series with the Aā€™s the Stars head to Chicago to take on the White Sox. This series wraps up a stretch of 17 games straight. The Stars will have a off day before their series with the Sox. BASSITT NOW 3-3 AFTER SUBDUING STARS The 2020 season is going from bad to worse for Nashville. Oakland Athletics starter Chris Bassitt turned in an exceptional performance against the Nashville Stars at Pandora Park at Howard Terminal, resulting in a Oakland win, 9-2. Nashvilleā€™s current losing streak has reached 9 games. Bassitt delivered a quality start for Oakland. The 6ā€² 5ā€³ right-hander allowed no earned runs on 2 hits over 7 innings of work. ā€œThe key at this level is throwing strike one,ā€ said Bassitt. ā€œSuccessful pitchers do it.ā€ Michael Brosseau lead the bats for the Stars, going 2 for 3 with 1 BB. C Mike Zuninoā€™s horrendous season continues as heā€™d go 0-3 with a strikeout. Heā€™s batting .170 this season. The starting pitching woes for the Stars continue as starter Tyler Glasnow took the loss. Lasting only 3.2 innings while allowing 6 runs on 6 hits with 1 HR and a ERA of 6.25. FADING STARS LOSE 10TH STRAIGHT Oakland starter Frankie Montas pitched well against the Nashville Stars at Pandora Park at Howard Terminal. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1. The current losing streak for Nashville has reached 10 games. The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Oakland trailing 1-0, Stephen Piscotty hit a fastball from Nick Anderson for a 2-run home run, giving the Athletics the walk-off win. ā€œThis place was jumping at the end,ā€ Piscotty said. If there is a bright side for the Stars, itā€™s that SP Ryan Yarbrough pitched 7 shutout innings, allowing only 3 hits and 1 walk with 8 strikeouts. 18. Depends what you want to go with. I always like to use one of the 5 worst teams the season before. And I also prefer one that's never won a championship. So I ended up going Charlotte. All depends on if you want to win now or build a team up.

  22. I haven't tried 2k this year, I bought last years when it was on sale earlier this year for $5.99. That's a fair price for it. LOL
  23. For me personally I've always hated sports manager style games. I always wanted to "control the action". So I was a big franchise gamer on the console. But as console gaming shifted more and more away from single player and franchise mode into the pay to win and online crap. I've have no choice but to move on from those games to more realistic options. To me nothing compares to ESPN NFL 2k5 and their franchise mode. Should have known back then it was gonna be all downhill from there.

Robinson averaged 3.2 points game across 30 games last season, while averaging 10.9 minutes per game. Indiana State announced today that they have accepted the transfer of sophmore PG Shawn Olson. Olson is a 19 year old from Lynchburgh, TN. Last season for Vanderbuilt he played 33 games averaging 14.2PPG, 4.6APG in 27.7MPG. His scouting report says his mid range game is very advancedā€¦ Free throw shooting still just average but showing steady improvementā€¦ Vision and passing ability is averageā€¦ Ball handling ability is superb. His biggest area of focus is his offensive game, especially shooting the ballā€¦ Can be too aggressive defensively and get caught reaching, picking up unnecessary fouls His one downfall is, his personality is listed as ā€œdisruptive forceā€. Hopefully it works out for the Sycamores. However his skills way outweigh the rist, he steps on the court as the Sycamores best rated player. Currently rated 4 stars with a potential of 4.5.
