I'm having a similar issue - game opens and runs fine but after I downloaded the Modpack and followed the ReadMe instructions the game no longer loads? I'm looking back at this advice (delete the old DATA, unzip new DATA) but the most recent modpack just comes with the FBS/FCS files. I've added these and kept the 'Standard' file as instructed but now nothing happens when I try to play.

1.Chiefs 2. Broncos 3. Raiders 4. Chargers for me

Same, I play a lot of Football Manager so looking for an NFL/College Football equivalent
