Davis and Kiffin were not getting along; who can remember Kiffin's statement by making Janikowski try a 70 yard FG? Or Davis saying that Russel was a great QB? Al Davis hired for Pittsburgh Steelers LB coach James Aldridge to be their head coach, following the trend of hiring guys out of nowhere. Aldridge was peeved when he was passed over for the Pittsburgh head coaching job for Mike Tomlin, so he decided to take his talents elsewhere... However, he has a big job ahead of him. Although he didn't even play the whole year, JaMarcus Russel has been labeled as a bust by the Raiders faithful. They have lots of big contracts on under-performing players. They have many players with speed, but little talent otherwise. Also, they don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick in the upcoming draft, but they have an extra 7th. Finally, Nnamdi Asomugha has threatened to leave the Raiders, with an expiring contract, he can make life difficult for Aldridge.
