trust Puresim in Windows 10 just stopped loading

I feel like I've just lost my best friend. I've been playing Puresim pretty much every night so long I can't remember when I started. It's like brushing my teeth....

Game will no longer load. I don't know if it is related but the homerun fireworks explosion audio stopped a few days ago. 

Started playing before 2003 (I have some save game disc artifacts from then) and perhaps 1999-ish. Back before Shaun had a label deal and the bulletin boards were at lot smaller!  I have the last build but I don't have a dl for a game other than the 2007 disc.  I really hope I can get a new copy of the game to load.  Suggestions appreciated.
