The GCL is a best-of-the-best competition for OOTP's online leagues, kind of a World Cup minus the kicking and the vuvuzelas. The first season was played last year and long-running online league PEBA emerged as the champion. Season 2 of the GCL featured 26 of the top GMs from OOTP's online leagues, and PATP and USBL finished with the top two records. Both of them survived grueling seven-game battles in the first round (PEBA was eliminated by USBL) to move on to the GCL Finals.
