    The past few weeks I have made a numerous releases to the UAT, since there have been mostly bug fixes and behind the scenes improvements I haven't released any info regarding its contents. But in today's release there has been a small UI change of the world info worth mentioning. So here's the complete change log so far.
     
    World info and countdown is now clickable to reveal more detailed info regarding upcoming events When world is simulating (flashing SIMULATING) more info regarding estimated finish is available when clicked More detailed team finances/salary cap info Player development will slow down if assigned to too low affiliate level Player may be unhappy if assigned to affiliate even if on two way contract Improved and more individualistic player regression Fixed bug where team standings could be become unsync Fixed bug where manager name was displayed as Computer on team history Fixed bug where salary cap wasn't updated correctly when trading for affiliate assigned players Fixed bug where goalie stats wasn't correctly updated when assigned to affiliate Fixed bug where injured players still could be auto assigned to lineup in games Fixed bug where players could play games for more than one team at once Fixed bug where player stats could not be sorted on BKS (Blocked shots) Fixed bug where a player wasn't rewarded a league achievement if released before season end  Fixed small typo Note. This is not the complete list for the upcoming v1.3.2. There's still a few more things planned. I'm aiming for a release to the official game worlds in early October.

    Yes, the computer trading has been discussed for a long time now. And there have actually been quite many improvements made over the last year. A computer team will demand more quality players in return, they will reject most trades involving too many players and they will not make too many trades each season.
     
    Computer teams actually do put players on the untouchable list from time to time, however this logic can be improved further and is something I will look closer into for the upcoming release. Maybe that would solve future scenarios like the one you're describing.

    Computer teams actually do put players on the untouchable list from time to time, however this logic can be improved further and is something I will look closer into for the upcoming release. Maybe that would solve future scenarios like the one you're describing.

    The hotfix seemed to do just fine on the UAT. It has now been installed on the official game worlds too.

    Ok, an hotfix is now being tested on the UAT. Hopefully I can install the hotfix on the official game worlds tomorrow.

    A hotfix installed yesterday caused more harm than good. A couple of game worlds went down. The hotfix has now been removed and game worlds should be running as normal again.

    The hotfix have been temporarily removed since it caused a couple of new problems with the simulator. I will make a new hotfix soon.

    There is no must really. Just a matter of design. I thought it would bring some familiarity to the main team and its affiliates. That way when you browse a player's stats you could easily see that the player has been assigned to an affiliate.
     
    Let's start out this way. It's no big thing to change the city of affiliates further down the road.

    Thanks for the report. And yes, you're right. I would have waited longer to install the update if it wasn't for the important bug fixes to solve the delayed simulation issues.
     
    Question. Do you remember if that player had a multiyear contract or a one year? If he was contracted next season too, then his salary must fit both season salary caps before being recalled.

    Just made an early pre release of the upcoming v1.3.1. You won't see any big changes right now,  but please report back any oddities you may find (it's quite untested).
     
    New features
    New hidden trait: Current ability (not yet complete). This new trait allows players to go into longer slumps or into longer streaks. These slumps or streaks will not be visible in player ratings, only in stats and in game performance (analysis). What may cause or break a slump depends on player’s individual profile. Some examples: transactions (trade, free agent signings, releases), injuries, general happiness concerns, game performance. Improvements and bug fixes
    Endurance update.
    - Increase penalty for exhausted players.
    - Increase endurance penalty for hard training. Fixed bug where salary cap status didn’t include pending contracts when calculating promotion or relegation for next season. Fixed bug where salary cap status didn’t include pending contracts for affiliate assigned players. Fixed bug where salary cap status was glitched on day 77 after promotion or relegations took place.

    A simulator crash caused the bug in Howitzer. It has now been fixed. I have postponed the simulation 12 extra hours to get everyone a chance to get back in. Sorry for the delay.

    Now that there are "minor league" teams that we can send players down to I think it is a good time to start figuring out a waiver system to prevent teams from hoarding players by making players waiver eligible.
     
    This is one possible way for such a system to work.
     
    For players to be eligible to be claimed they have to be a certain age. Say 24. When they become eligible is completely open for discussion however I do think the minimum age considered should be 23. If they signed at 21 they have only been on that team for 2 full seasons. Any less I think would be at least a bit unfair to the team. Also they have to be sent to the farm team during the regular season. Anyone sent down before the regular season starts is not waiver eligible when they get sent down before the regular season but they are eligible for waivers if they get called up at any point.
     
    As for who can claim them well at least the same league teams. I would also throw in lower league teams as well if the player would have interest in playing for said team at the lower level. As for the order of who would get waiver claims same league should start off going in reverse standing order, meaning worst team in same league gets first dibs on any waiver claims, until you reach the playoff line and then lower league teams get dibs (going form worst to best again) finishing with teams in playoff position from the original teams league.
     
    Now that who is eligible and who can claim had been presented how would it work? Well when a waiver eligible player gets sent down a notification pops up in the league news section on the league home page. "x gets put on waivers." could be what it says. Also they would appear in a new tab in the transactions section called waivers. The player would be there for a number of days. For example sake lets say 4 in game days. During these 4 days any team interested puts in a waiver claim. After the required days pass the team that put in a claim with the highest position in the waiver claim system order gets the player.

    New bug encountered: Mitts GHL playoffs. 
    Am unable to recall players.  Get a pop-up that says that we don't have enough salary-cap space, but we have over $6 million place this season, but only about $460 000 for next year's  salary space??  
    Perhaps the system is only looking at next-season's budget?  
     
    Sorry to complain after the fact: but it probably would have been more prudent to let the season roll-over in UAT, before doing the update in the regular game-worlds.

    The restore is now finished and simulation will continue from late day 76. The last playoff game in GHL needs to be replayed, but as far as I can see the Fire Dogs has already won the cup title. Day 77 with youth draft will simulate later today.

    I've begun the restore but it will take some time to finish. Expect the game world to be paused at least for the next 8-10 hours.
