After starting 0-7 against the Thundering Herd (last season + this season) the Leopards have finally taken down the Herd to improve to 1-7 !!!

It 100% is.  It takes almost a complete different team when you go up to survive... and if you are prepared it is tough to be beat as a team going down.  
 
I think the worst of it is Bronze and up though.

Well for certain I am enjoying winning 19 of my first 23 games in the BHL vs. losing 44 of the 60 games in the SHL

One of my goalies, Vandergriff, is on the trade block. He's only 28 and at a 94 OVR. Looking for prospects or picks.

Updated the roster for Season 14! I just realized I had a Japanese-American player (Ramiro Ohara) on my own team, and he immediately makes the top-line much stronger and GHL-competitive. Some other significant changes to the forwards - what was an incredibly veteran-heavy roster the first time around has thinned out with five teenagers making the team this time around...the defensemen and goalies haven't changed at all, and this team would still rely heavily on Yu, one of the best goalies in Biscuit.
 

Could you maybe have a message sent out the day before the draft order releases stating the odds of each team to win? There are obviously percentages either way to determine the draft order, so why not release those numbers? It would help us see just how lucky (or unlucky) some teams get.

A quick scan of the world shows that every team has a human manager! First time ever in Biscuit!

Add recall / assign actions to player popup for 2w contracted players like there is shortlist/remove from shortlist actions

What a (first) season in the SHL! I started 1-0-0-9 and at one point i was about 12-0-1-23, and then, i flushed 2 veteran and it took off. With 4 games left, i'm at .500! The gap between BHL and SHL was huge, and the SHL was very competitive this year (i'm not sure the 1st team will have more than 120pts), but i did it, i didn't get relegated.

Big shout out to Jon Carignan (Deadwood Irishmen) who agreed to reverse a trade I accepted by mistake!

Another annoying result from the bloated overalls is that players are an indistinguishable mass.
 
As 99 marks the best of the best, currently in Biscuit GHL there are:
 
24 world fastest skaters,
11 world best passers,
14 world best shooters etc.
 
And if you'd think ~95 is "elite" in a category, then basically any player on any given team is "elite" in something. Which shouldn't be the case obviously.

Blow the dust off this.... got a keeper on a 1 year 83 rated if anyone wants to have a first crack at the re signing.

I never used the word cheating here, just questionable and exploitative. I don't think Lee Roy is a cheater, but he certainly knows how to play the system....which again, is unfair.

You are correct and I don't disagree with your feelings about it being a bit crappy, I am just disagreeing that it is cheating.  Using a weak computer trading system to his advantage... absolutely but this should motivate the devs to somehow make it harder for these type of trades to happen rather than kicking him out for cheating. 
 
When I think of cheating... the guys who go into a team drop the players then sign into another one to pick them up is what I think of.    

I seem to be either losing big or winning big this season, could be quite the roller coaster!
 
I saw your loss today Paul... he beat me pretty handily the game before that with stats being what I felt was in my favour.  Either we just got rotten luck or he has a "opponent keeper is going to be crap" button

TL;DR - Shoot people a message before reporting cheating. The explanation may make sense and the consequences of a suspension may be dire for bubble teams.

I wanted to take a moment to ask for better communication and use of the in-game mail service. 
 
A backstory:
 
I took over a GHL team that was clearly bound for the SHL. Once in the SHL I only made promotion back to the GHL on the last day of the season. There, I clawed and scraped by way into a promotion/relegation battle and was able to stick in the GHL for a second season - something that is not easy to do from what I'm told. The icing on the cake, a first overall pick. Coming into this season, I feel I have made my team stronger, younger, and more competitive. Patching holes with short-term contracts and injecting some promising youth into the roster. However, my team now finds itself (likely) in a massive hole to start the season since I've been suspended.
 
Commentary:
 
This isn't some rage-quit or boo-hoo message. I'm simply asking that instead of marking transfers as suspicious and banning me from my team for a week, why not write me a message and ask for an explanation first? When you are on the bubble of relegating you have to be active with your team to try to stay up. Every move I made I did so with this in mind and felt the offer had benefits for each party. When you make lots of moves, one is bound to look imbalanced be it in my or another team's favour.
 
I'm not sure what exactly caused people to be concerned with my transaction habits. I've given up a good player to get nothing in return in the interest of offloading salary. I've also absorbed salary on a good player who would've become a free agent after a team relegates. These trades often involve a dialogue between the two managers so each has an understanding of the wants/needs of each - something an outsider may not grasp. If anyone wants to point out where I "went wrong" I'd be happy to learn what is not considered socially acceptable transactions. But keep in mind, everyone has a different value system when it comes to trading and giving up ABC for XYZ may seem like the best course of action for one person but a gross miscalculation for another.
 
I'd hope in the future there'll be a bit more communication between managers. I've have a continued dialogue with several GHL/SHL managers and enjoy the negotiation and "wheeling and dealing". It doesn't take much to shoot someone a message if something looks fishy, and ask for an explanation. Problem is, it takes even less effort to just click a button and have someone suspended for a week. It is a struggle to stay in the GHL as a newly promoted team, I know it all too well as every point is huge. I hope for better communication and a little forethought before well-established teams click a button and, in all reality, make the difference between next season in the SHL/GHL for a club like mine.

I honestly think there needs to be a message option to send with the transfer.  Put it right in the trade so the person knows exactly what the other person is thinking.  I use it... but feel the message system is not simple enough to get to someone for the casual player... or a guy who plays part time on a device.  Put it in the transfer... you will get more interaction.

Have you tried private messaging other managers?  Personally, I respond to every PM I get.  Not everyone will respond, but you can form some good relationships with the managers that do respond.

I took over Tullahoma Tomcats in BHL and have been trying to strengthen and balance the team to climb up in the standings. Was in 14th place when I started and relegation is not an option. This game sure is the ultimate manager experience.

Biggest thing is wages on these star players need to go way up.... bigger wages solves the problem naturally.
 
90+ players should be the rarity which I understand it isn't but make it too expensive to have more than 2 or 3 and soon the problem will weed itself out.
