Excellent job Baden congrats! My series was an exercise in blowing leads lol. Probably too much tinkering down the stretch, not to take anything away from my opponent, the Thornbury Steelers. They owned me in the reg season and stuck it to me pretty hard in round 1. Oh well, on to next season. Best of luck to you guys still in it to win it!!

Somehow we pulled it off... next round of the Playoffs! Now We have to face Mountain City Dragons! They don't have 1 player under 70! This could be bad lol ! I'm proud of my team and no matter what happens this season was a success! I would be stressing a little If I was Peter T.3 If somehow we manage to beat them all but 3 of their Roster would be cut because of 1W contracts!

That was fun. What a good season. I'm looking forward to another one in the IHL. Also looking forward to these playoffs. Should be a fun ride. Best of luck to everyone!!

So last game...... need Dunkirk to lose....they don't ... ( damn you Cherokees!...lol ) ...they win Regulation....what does this mean..... we were 2 pts ahead of Dunkirk for last playoff spot....with the win they get 3 now are 1 ahead of us. we can't lose not even overtime Dunkirk has more wins! our Game goes to Overtime.... Then a shootout! Vincent Bougrette-Dufort scores! we make the playoffs! We go 11-2 in our last 13 games .....WOW!....Go Skyline!

Aww schucks, thanks lol. Looks like my season finale is... you guess it...Dunkirk Disaster. That means Badens playoff hopes may be in my hands? Better get out your lucky Tariq Lima bobblehead and hope the Cherokees can pull out a win for ya! Finish strong and see u n the playoffs!!

3 Games left 7th spot...technically tied for 6th but Disaster has more wins.No matter the out come we've had a great season. Spent a bit of time in 1st spot which was fun. We've got a strong core and will be very competitive next season....and should we sneak into the playoffs will be very dangerous. GL all ( yes even the Cherokees lol )

The team called up 1st round draft pick Victor Skvortsov for a cup of coffee, and he bangs home 2 goals from the 4th line, including the game winner! I guess he's earned himself a 2nd game. And with Baden's Skyline breathing down my neck, we're going to need some guys to step up and have a big game. Game 4's tonight with a lot on the line in these tight standings...Best of luck!

that was a pretty good whoopin you put on me in our 1st official meeting Baden. Even injured my top line center man. Payback for the preseason injury i suppose.... I guess a little bad blood is good for our budding rivalry lol.

Sorry about the bumps and bruises there, Baden. Guess my guys got carried away. If that pre season game is an indicator of how our season series will go, then it should be a hoot lol.  We'll have games 10,25,40 and 55 circled in red! Best of luck!!

My third season has just begun...won first to in OT ...Great start...lost 1 of my defense to Concussion for 5 days...( might have to rethink preseason games )  my goal this season is to not be relegated and build my team. GL All!

Promoted to IHL...... Golden Cup I'm coming for you!

Savage Storm upend Timberwolves 5-2
 
SLAUGHTERVILLE, OK. The Savage Storm handily beat the visiting team last night, and boy was it a rough one. Credited with 23 hits, the home team spanked the Coquitlam Timberwolves on the boards and in the corners, and skated away from most of the physical play initiated by the visitors. After the first period, the Storm took a one goal lead and ground out the last two periods to a 5-2 final score.
 
Storm defenseman Lucas Calello shared the team lead of 3 hits last night and pitched in with a helper. "It's nice to be able to contribute on the gamesheet, but I feel better about beating on those wimpy SHL wannabees." 
 
'Wolves backup goalie Joen Berg put on a brave face after the game, having let 5 out of 35 shots get by him. "Coach let me know with 10 minutes to go that I'd be playing, and I guess I just couldn't find my angles in time." Shortly after the buzzer sounded, Berg's twitter account listed a post that read, "Hey @BergerFries -- I found you this protractor goo.gl/ZzHVZs. Luv Mum."
 
While the Coquitlam coach was quick to get on the bus to their next game at Pinehurst -- a 1,200 mile trip -- their assistant manager, Notta H. Uman, was happy to comment on the game. "The team had some tactical difficulties offensively against our opponent's defence. The opponent's defense and goalie was superior to our team's goal scoring in today's game. The opponent's defense was superior to our team's offense in today's game. The body checking of our opponent's offense was superior to our team's defense in today's game." The guy did not shut up. "At least the team did very well tactically during powerplay against our opponent's penalty killing." Also, the Wolves did not score one powerplay goal.
 
The Storm's coach liked their compete level. "I think that we..." The rest of his statement was boring and had five spelling errors.
 
The Timberwolves play the Razorbacks at 12am tonight. Maybe we'll think about broadcasting it.

After a disappointing and humiliating relegation process, the Cherokees are adjusting to life in the IHL. The team struggled to ice a full squad by opening night, and proceeded to play as such, losing the 1st 3 contests of the new season spectacularly. Game 4 appeared to be a lost cause when, after 1 period, the team found themselves down 1-5 to the Disraeli Black Bears. The 5 goal comeback that ensued has sparked the team to a 5-0-2-2 record since dropping their 1st 3 games as the team continues to gel. The addition of some veteran role players to compliment the young core of the team seems to be paying off. Hopefully we can continue to win some games and resigning players won't be a huge issue in the offseason.

Hey everyone! I'm Luke Ciccone and I've been the manager of the Reliance Renegades for over a year now. I guess that means I'm not exactly new, but I figured I might as well introduce myself. Some of you may already know me as I'm rather active with trading and messaging other managers in Clapper. I'm also Mike's brother, who is the manager of the Colome Knights. He got me into the game and I'd like to think I'm already a better manager than him. Haha, maybe not but it's nice to have someone to bounce trade ideas off of.
 
When I joined, I was randomly placed on a BHL team when the regular season had already ended. My team had finished last place and was going to be relegated. I lost essentially everyone due to 1-way contracts and I had quite a bit of cap space locked from the previous manager releasing players with years still left on their contracts. I started completely fresh from the IHL where I finished first place in my very first season. I've worked my way up into the upper half of the SHL now where I was close to promotion into the GHL last season through the playoffs, but lost in the third game of the series. This season has been all about building up a strong young team for the next season. I'll likely be in the playoffs again this season but I'm not expecting promotion in the slightest.
 
I didn't really mean to give my whole 11 season summary, but I really love the game and am always excited to get to talk about it. I wish everyone success in their future seasons. Thanks!

I just took over the Lacombe Hornets in the LIHL and renamed them to the Chattanooga Rampage. I am currently trying to guide this team to the IHL.

Not 100% new to the game (been lurking for a few months now). Started in the IHL during the season before last, so last season was my 1st full campaign at the helm of the Tullahoma Tomcats. My team has regressed somewhat from when i took it over, with most of the better players leaving for free agency after refusing to resign. But, if there is one thing in particular i have learned as a day 1 Nashville Predators fan, it is that sometimes there is addition by subtraction (looking at you Ryan Suter and Shea Weber).

Thanks Vincent! yeah, i'm having a lot of fun trying to breathe some life into this franchise. I'm not 100% sure how relegation works, i just hope the hole hasn't been dug too deep for us. Lucky for me the team has a ton of cap space to play with.
 
And thanks for the trade Baden! i hope the pick and prospect turn up for you, and veteran goalie Kirby Agostini should fit in nicely here, having already recorded a win in his 1st start! Best of luck!!
