I understand the a player I waive is off the books for purposes of his contract but is he on my roster the duration of his contract? If so I assume I'd be hit with dead money if I release the player, correct?

I'm sorry that wasn't clearly stated. I have a player on IR for over 20 days. It would be nice to have a tracker so that once the player is within 5 days of being able to play is time is tracked. I know that there is a warning once the player comes back but I'm in Dangles. If something happens and I don't log in for a day and a half my player could because a free agent. I'm I wrong?

a decending tracker for players on IR. and possibly an injured player tracker for any play on IR for 7 days or more.

At this time I'm just trying to find the players that fit the tactics but if I did want to change tactics (from transitional to puck procession for example) how long would it take at the Bronze level

all I know is that if your team is in dangles bhl please don't change a thing. I beat you like a drum!!! in my experience dump and chase is for either extremely mobile smallish players or generally weak teams overall. balance that out with defensive support strong forechecking if possible.

Hi. I just promoted from LIHL to IHL in biscuit. My 1st year was great my 2nd season was a disaster. So rather than change the style of play you inherited, concentrate on next season's draft and free agents. Get a good a goalie! Check the players in the next draft. take time to find the players that fit your system and make sure to shortlist them and order your shortlist in the preference you want. That does not mean you'll get the players you want but you're more likely not to get a draft full of garbage. Good luck

After a 3-1 season start the Meteors for lost 4 in a row. Just realized most of my guys were still on hard training. I should be ok now that I've adjusted training a bought a new scoring forward. The Buccaneers are middle of the pack again.

I can't speak for players in world lumber but its not that unual that managers not talk back. What I do when I really want a quick response is to write a note to the trade partner. Most will be responsive and that's the best way I've found to interact with other managers.

Having solved most of my issues with the whole of the game am left with one last bitter pill. SIMULATION. I know it happens more frequently with dangles but problem for me is that I can go to the league look at results then when I'm ready to make moves the game goes into simulate. HELP PLEASE. THERE HAS TO BE A WAY... thanks love the game!

Great addition!!! I see that while on waivers the salary doesn't count toward the cap. My question is once the player clears waivers are we still stuck with "dead money" as if we tossed him off the team?

Paul the point about real life is telling. That is exactly the reason to cap the time a trade. It gives someone a chance to look and if they don't like they don't have to deal with it and more importantly to me I don't have to remember I sent it!

I guess I get it if someone doesn't want a deal and ignores it. (rude, but I get it) To get around this is it possible to put a 4 to 7 day limit to the time a trade would be viable and have that somehow impact the player trade reputation. there have been numerous suggestions about how to improve the trading functionality of the game I feel that if someone take time to offer a deal it should be responded to but failing that why not have a function to auto-kill a deal if a player doesn't find it worth there while to refuse it.
