You might be able to! I think I was last seed last season and ended up facing the GHL relegation-threatened team. I was swept handily and absolutely destroyed (I think one loss was 9-2... ouch) BUT I was surprised to make it that far.

If you do claw your way into facing the GHL teams, this might be a good season to have a solid chance at promotion. cheering for you, mate (just don't tell the Valkyries that).

Wow, between Renegades and canucks coming back, it's like the walking dead in here!  Not that I'm complaining, always good to have human managers.  Welcome back canucks!

    Another issue...

Mitts3 is on Day 17 now, but games from Days 15 and 16 were never simmed.

TucsonJay reacted to GamePlanHockey in New UAT world created: Mitts3
Finally there is a new UAT world available called Mitts3. The speed is currently set to Fast (every 6 hours) and it contains a couple of new features (see separate topic). I've also enabled both extended logging and versioning in order to get some valuable clues if we encounter similar problems in the future.

To join either resign from your teams in the old Mitts world or create a new account.

Thanks for your patience this far!

And should also filter out players that have no interest in your team.

I weirdly like the idea of not being able to filter by (foreign) league they play in and manually having to 'scout' yourself. I think it's much more rewarding that way because it gives you a chance to find a gem buried on some random team in the Swedish Hockey League or something. A lot of my top guys are ones I've found in the RUHL or different leagues on some of the less known teams and I love it because it makes the world feel 'bigger' rather than having a sheet of all available players in the world that you can just click through and filter one league at a time.

However, I very much agree that you should have the option to filter out players that are absolutely not interested or ones that are already signed to one-way contracts with a higher level team. Especially when browsing the trading block, this becomes a PITA.

As for marking what league a player currently is in, this is something else I've wanted for a while. I'd love to see, for example, a player have (SHL) next to the Portland Steam underneath their name in the drop down window. It's hard to keep track of what team is in what league, especially when names are being changed whenever a team comes under new ownership.

Here's a minor suggestion coming from a minor annoyance. When filtering players in transactions, if the filter unrealistic target box is checked, I think any player in a higher league whom has a one way contract should be hidden. It's a little bit annoying when I'm looking through a bunch of players I might potentially attempt to acquire only to change windows when I find a guy I like, and then discover that it is not actually possible for me to try and trade for the guy as he has a one way contract and I am in a lower division.

edit: It should also cover players in other leagues around the world whom are unable to come over this season. Another idea I had while writing this is that there should also be the option to filter players by the league that they are currently playing in.

    Hi all,

I'd like to suggest a player sorting option in the "roster" of the teampage.

I personally like having my players sorted in different manners for different actions.
I think it'd be handy if players automatically / by default are sorted on "overall Q".
When looking for whose the best shooter or defenceman it can be nice to be able to sort on specific skills too.

The same holds up for contracts. It'd be nice if I can sort them by "Number of years left on contract", so that in an instance I can see who's contract about to expire in what season.

I'd be alright if this can be done per position, but wouldn't mind an overall team option for that too.

Also I'd like to add that sorting on performance in the player stats doesn't work correctly.

TucsonJay got a reaction from jusatin in Setting Lineups - Overall Site Navigation
I realize that these suggestions might require an overhaul of the site but my main concern is being user friendly.  Below are a list of things I think can help:

Concern 1. I'd love to be able to adjust the roster/lineups while being able to look at the player's stats.
Suggestion: On the "Team" screen, to the left of the player are a set of check boxes labeled L1, L2, L3...etc.
Concern 2. Be able to see a player's role while looking at the stats.
Concern 3. Have all financials on one page and be able to make an offer while looking at the rest of your players.
Suggestion: List the players, list their current contract status, list their current demand, have a drop down for the offer length and a box for offer amount.
Suggestion: On this financial page, include any current offers pending.
Concern 4. There are too many screens to bounce back and forth.  For example: when searching free agents, once you filter and click a player's profile, once you back page to the filter you have to reset the filter.

Overall I think there can be a lot more streamlining to the site but regardless, thank you for the game, I thoroughly enjoy it.
