I trade with the CPU and have no problem with any trade I've ever made. I don't play my goalies 60 games per season or game draft pick deals. My deals usually are orange on my side and green on the other. Many times it's about trading several assets for one that will improve my team. That being said there sadly are others that are gaming the system. In one gold league I see that Anders or someone has made the best players on a team all untouchable. I think that's wrong. You normally wouldn't see more than three untouchables on any roster historically.

Simply put, in most sims that I've played in, human trading doesn't work. I played a season in a long standing Yahoo league. If it wasn't for waivers and free agents it'd be awfully boring. I wouldn't have signed up for Dangles if there wasn't going to be CPU trading. We don't have the right balance between free agents right now. I'm sure it's not a high priority, and there's also the factor that we're beta testing, but your human GM trading is not strong enough to build your franchise at this point. If that's Ander's goal, to not have CPU trading, which it doesn't appear to be, then it should be stated, but to put out a new league at fast speed, which I think most managers clearly wanted, and then after we spend time grooming our teams change gears seems a bit punitive, and an utter waste of times for us managers that clearly are against not having CPU trading.

Hi Anders, Please let us know quickly what you decide. I will resign my team if there is no CPU trading. Frankly I think that's the future to your game success. I think there's room for CPU improvement. I can actually see at some point some people having a CPU coach. But I don't want to invest any more time a league without CPU trading. If you go through with this I hope you'll either start a new fast or lightning league with it, or upgrade one of the slower leagues.

I just had 3 90+ endurance players get injured in a single game. That's really odd.... Anders?

Check your cap for the following season. Your trade may put you over the cap for the next year for one of the teams.

I like the idea of a simple waiver system. As a player can't be on a one way contract to be on an affiliate that makes it open season for them. Rank from IIHL to GHL and let the team that could afford the player grab em. I think that would stop any potential abuse and also help lower league teams potentially gain access to players they might not normally have a shot at.

I can't open CPU teams either. In one of my leagues almost half are computer owned which means I can't trade with any of them? Anders?

Anders I think everyone appreciates your work on this game. I think we all know there will be issues from time to time.

Another issue is where to set player's training? I normally work my players hard hoping that their talent will rise. If that has changed we should know how so as to best utilize it. With none of my players going up should we change down? Or will the loss of talent even be worse? We need some answers from Anders.

Matt it's a fair trade for Anders. When he's ready to roll this out commercially he'll make the cash from it. He's not paying us to play test. We're helping him develop his product and he's pretty awesome. It's a fair trade off. This thread isn't about complaining about Anders. I get that he's just done an update, but he might have to adjust some of the algorithms. I do think that he needs to communicate more with us as we're losing season and possibly whole teams that we've developed over seasons and that's not good. Also, if we don't have faith in his keeping the integrity of the system then it isn't worth developing a team knowing it can be wiped out as is happening now. We're giving him feedback. I just don't think any of us deserve abuse from other members by doing so.

rain silent maybe you shouldn't be speaking for Anders? Because I think many of us read those links, and now some of us are reporting the results. I'm sure Anders will adjust or tinker to improve the system as there are a lot of moving parts. You insulting owners probably won't help the process.

Rainsilent I totally resent your attitude and post. Unless you're speaking for Anders I think you've way over stepped the line. I'm giving feedback as someone that has supported, donated, and played this game for quite a while. Anders can do as he chooses, but if the product simply becomes unplayable then I'm sure myself and others will leave. If he's made the changes that you've suggested then perhaps he should be posting such or giving us a warning? I used to play What If hockey sim and left that too when it was clearly not a playable or accurate system. It's a free world. No acrimony here. I've enjoyed myself until this recent mess. I post what I do hoping to send feedback and hoping to see more improvement. Your attitude is not productive.

More injuries than normal and player ratings dropping without others going up and the team has now lost six. If this was isolated randomness it's part of the game, but I'm seeing this across the board in each league I'm in; more injuries than normal, player ratings dropping without going up. Add in not being able to trade with CPU teams to try and adjust and it's brutal. This is a team I've built and nurtured all the way up to Gold. This isn't fun.

We all spend time at this. If the system is going to change to this degree it makes building a team near impossible. Right now I've watching my players value erode. I'm seeing the young players I've invested in not grow. And I can't trade with CPU managers which in some of the leagues my teams are in are the vast majority. It's not personal. It's just not working. There are few strategy options in this situation. I have faith that Anders will find a solution and I could've sworn the purpose of this particular forum section was for suggestions and issues.

Please turn cpu trading back on. Please speed up the servers. Please let there be more fair balance between improving players and player degradation. These are all factors in building a team. As someone that likes to start at LIHL and work their team up these factors are making the game near impossible to join. I'm currently running four teams in four different leagues, but will start to dump them if this continues much longer. You've done a lot of great work, but we still have to enjoy this part of the development too if we are going to put time into it. Also, a thought. Maybe create a new premium lightning league where owners have to make a donation? I know I've already donated, but don't mind donating more if the game works. Cheers, fang
