What a frustrating way to end both Buzzer and Cage seasons. Both teams got to the finals and then wigged out and lost their minds. Even more irritating is that 90% of the Buzzer season we were ranked #2 until injuries and Goalie meltdowns occurred. C'est la vie - contracts are lookin even better this next season, for both teams, and we should be even more established going into next season.

Love this! I like the idea of a “Roid Rage Trophy” for the individual with the most combined hits + penalties. Wish we could track fighting and wins/losses there. Maybe the winner can get a re-fillable “Golden gallon” and a years supply of creatine!
 
The “Crentist, the Dentist” award would also go to the individual who got in the most fights and had the highest loss percentage. They would get free dental work once they retired.

I tend to look more at the Big Game section when it comes down to my blue line. Having Defensemen or Goalies that don’t get shaken is a staple of our teams. I will say that if their other skill attributes overcome their character, I may still put anxious or nervous player behind the blue line, but don’t prefer to.
 
I look at Ambition only when drafting or selecting younger players as I’d rather spend some capital on individuals that have a chance at actual growth.
 
I’m with Paul and Krabbat on leadership. Once I get my 3 captains, I tend not to care as much.
 
Lastly, while it is the least of my concerns, I do feel like my team gets better when they actually are friendly etc. In fact, I usually don’t like to pair two arrogant defensemen for communication reasons.

Since (most) of us can take a good joke on here, it'd be great to also see more creative awards.  For instance, rookie of the year would be a good legit one for a player that is in his first season in GHL (no matter the age) who leads in points or whatever stats you want to toss in.
 
Some other funny ones could be:
Best/Worst Goals Per $ spent
Worst Plus/Minus
Swiss Cheese Award for Goalie that meets minimum games played requirement (~10) and lowest Save %
Broken Stick Award for the player with the most Giveaways
 
Open to other suggestions, but whatever award people come up with, please explain your methodology just so we know.

Still pulling the splinters out...which reminds me, this is primarily a GHL conversation so I’ll let you guys get back to it, this GM is going to hop back in my 95’ Toyota Camry and have a Bologna sandwhich my grandma made me before heading to the rink to coach overweight bon-bon eating ice slugs!

I’m a designer and tend to lean towards simplicity and cleans, concise pallets but it’s interesting to see what everyone else gravitates toward.. I will say that PaulT did a good job replicating his Bruins’ jerseys

I need a goalie also - but it’s so darn expensive to sign a 63 OVR guy - sheesh! But for real, I’m paying one guy $5K a year to play...oh wait, I sent him to the Minors so he now makes $500 a year. I think he now flips burgers on the side to keep afloat. Good thing he lives with His Grandma...

I'm still here in full managerial mode. In fact, I just spent $2 Mill on a defender in the SHL as a last ditch effort to take the SHL by force. I'm there with you littleB: got beat down in round two of the last playoffs...so this may be the last go at it. Best luck everyone!

It was a good (potentially) last season for the Black Flag as we came up big at the end of the season and slid into a playoff spot. After going down one game we rallied to win the first round but I will not miss the brutal beat downs received from the GHL teams in the upcoming update, that is for certain!

My team is off to a challenging season. We can't seem to keep healthy.. the 10 weeks we had almost 100% health, we won 10 straight...and then the injury wage hit again. My top line sniper (and top scorer) goes down, the next day my goalie goes down from being hit by a puck in the coconuts, and then my 2nd line sniper gets knocked out as well. Hopefully we can get healthy and rebound soon...sheesh!

Next season should be a good (possible) last run in the current format. Our squad isn't changing at all and our young guys are developing quickly. Should be a better season than this one - hopefully....

I think I discovered the Banger's strategy for this round of Playoffs; take out the exact same positioned defensive forward early on in the match. Crafty!
 
It was quite Ironic that the same spot got injured but I'd have to say that the second match Injury didn't appear to be on the Banger's end. Royer won a faceoff but went too hard for it, slipped and broke his nose on his own skate! I know, it seems impossible but the video went viral after a Banger fan posted the carnage in YouTube.
 
Good luck with the GHL opponent Bodmin - take them out at the knees...or their face....doesn't matter who that way

More typical back-to-back matches for us this season: yesterday we beat the #1 team on the road, today we lose to the #14 team at home...

We are currently working with new logos. Except it to be done in a week or so.

All in good time.   Let the hardworking crew in this game take care of the important things. Logos are way down the list in my humble opinion.
 

The Colvilletown Legends are back in the GHL after 22 seasons! Went all in with some trades this season and it really paid out. 
 
Has been a hell of ride since I took over the teams in the LIHL in season 20.

I was just messing with you Haradrim - nice use of exacerbate by the way (no sarcasm). I can't remember the last time I used that in a sentence.
 
LittleB, I agree with Haradrim, I think you will be ok this season but it is a close one for sure. You can keep losing to us, that would really help

I've never personally heard of an inner sanctum of GPHM masons that have access to secret constructs outside of those building the game. Am I missing something?
