  1. Sorry that was a mistake from my side. Didn't mean trades. Just offering contracts to people on my roster, which has nothing to do with trading. I can offer them their new contracts (since the GM sees the finances for next season) but when they take their time to decide, the transfer is rejected by default - note: it's not rejected by the players, it's rejected by "the computer" GM because I'm exceeding the salary this season, however not the following season. That seems a bit weird, no? Especially since players with extensions of their contracts are shown like 1+4 or 1+1 when you look at the transfer row. I know that trades wouldn't work now and would be handled differently.
  2. Hi, I had mentioned that I was one of the people exceeding the cap for this season, Barclay Vikings, BHL, on Lumber. Seems there's another issue now: I want to resign players and even though it tells me that there is some 1,700,000 space under the cap, I can offer contracts but my GM rejects the trades since there is "no space under the current cap". I mean - of course there is no space now. But if I let some contracts expire and just keep a core roster that has contracts within the free cap of 1,700,000, shouldn't it be possible then to have them sign contracts? It's like signing for 17-18 so it doesn't change anything for 16-17. So: Will they all be free agents or will it be possible to change this and make signings possible? Thanks for answering.
  3. Hey guys, I'm really curious about the answer by the admin or a support member. I somehow exceed the cap by over a million (barclay vikings, lumber, bhl) and I wanted to tinker out a lot of different trade scenarios to get me inside the allowed cap limit. However, all the trades got declined. I felt that one or two of my stars would get fired as a punishment or something a long that lines (less budget the season that follows...) however, nothing happened so far. Why was I able to sign people for the next season when this would mean I would exceed the cap? I made 2 signings that I felt would get me 1 million over, but I tried to offer the contracts, since I thought there would be an automatic mechanism stopping me. Somehow it didnt. If admin reads this and sees a need for a fix, please send an in-game message too, which any suggestion you feel is right How is this possible? I really didn't want to abuse the system and feel that I want to get inside the normal limits again.
  4. Maybe it's just a way to make it harder to predict the gems and essentially it might be that a player that would be in your franchise and would get playing experience in a higher league then the youth league, as well as getting you a "medium" or "hard" training workload might then "rise" better. I don't know if this might be the case, but I would really love it to be a feature because then it's also about in depth "scouting" and not just "no-brainer" picking since we know that he grew 10 last season and will grew into a 85+ player anyway. You know what I mean?
