LIHL - Yonker Buccaneers Have some high 60s prospects that wont sign with me, would be great for any IHL team. Looking for a starting goalie, but if thats not available, will take anything reasonable.

I realize this is an older topic, but I think I have an easy work around while being able to continue the current system. Instead of having the wording saying "signed to 1 year contract", just change to specific season. If it is halfway through season 5, then when you offer a contract it should say "sign for season 5" or "sign for seasons 5-6". This way you know he is under contract for the remainder of season 5 and the entirety of season 6. This way will make it more clear about what you are getting, without having to re-haul the whole system. Personally I wouldnt be a fan if I got notices every 3-4 days telling me that i have a contract expiring; I like the fact they all end when the season ends, as it is more realistic. NHL teams can sign free agents in January, but they dont expire the following January, they expire at the end of the season.

I would love the option to wipe my lineup clear, and let me start from scratch.

New here, quick question. Do players improve in their roles as they train up? For example, just signed an 18 year old defenceman with decent profile, but he is bad in each role. If I train him hard in Offence, will he eventually get better as an offensive-defenceman?

Hey all. Brand new here, started roughly a week ago. Grabbed a team in the LIHL, named them Medicine Hat Black Knights, and here we are. My team is kind of crappy but I am doing well enough. I have a winning record since I took over, at least. I've played similar types of games before, but this one is shaping up to be a beauty. Hope to see you all when I promote in a few seasons!
