Hm... as I understand, top 2 teams don't have playoff at all?

Thanks I don't understand playoff system. I get 4th place in the regular sea.son In the first round I won the series with a team from LIHL. In the second round I palyed with a team from IHL and won it. But, first and second place didn't take part in playoff (or did?).

Suddenly, my team was promoted to IHL Well, ok, lets try!

I don't understand this playoff Can anybody explain me, what's happend and what's next?
