However if these contract changes happen there need to be a few extra additions as well:
- Increase cap space. Like you said if we want to make it more real, like NHL for example, the cap space needs a boost in every league. If the contract adjustments kick in then the current cap space is far too less. I'm not saying we would need to sign all the players because that would be the same problem, but if contracts are adjusted and you can only keep 7-8 players due to the cap space then all the building is for nothing.
- AI improvements in player accepting contracts. Right now every player accepts his new contract. At least in GHL. It's too easy to sign a player, even when you're a top team or a bottom team in GHL.

@ncik: I'm not a believer of the nervous traits or traits in general. I think they have too less of an impact. I would want to see that changed because I believe traits are equally important than skills. Look at it in real life, if you have all the skill in the world but if the mentality is bad, it will have consequences. Where traits now in GPHM don't have that impact.
In Biscuit for example, the last 2 winners of the cup was the same team. They won with 12-13 anxious/nervous players, with 7-8 nervous players. So much for the big game trait.
I'm playing this game for 2,5 years now and the last 2 seasons I had double the injuries then usual. I'm not the only one if you checked the topic. This happened since this or previous update. And as said this has been acknowledged by Anders...

Sure when you look at it the GHL is always better. Compare it with the NHL if you like and it should be like that as well. Otherwise create a league without relegation and more teams.
It changed too much in the latest patch(es) and thus you need a complete new approach. For instance all the work I've put together in the last 12 seasons seems like it's for nothing or almost for nothing. And I'm sure other managers will agree. I'm not against updates or patches, on the contrary, but in my opinion this is a bit of a killer.
