Years ago the LA Kings advertised their King Sized line.   That group never actually played together but it was it was a nice marketing tool.    That said this is my KING SIZED LINE:

Line 1 for my Joshua Tree Meteors      Marian Michalik ©  6.5    220,  Wyliam Stevens 6.2  207  (lw)  Koby Morais  6.4  201  (rw)      Stevens is injuried his replacement is  Amir Lebourdais  6.6  240.

Feel free to add your own King Sized line  (or you runt line if you prefer)

Interesting..I don't have one line with huge players, but I do have a massive height discrepancy between linemates on my first and fourth lines:

Arrieta (6'6") - Doerr(5'8") - Lunde (6'4")

Nissen (5'4") - Innes (6'8") - Poli (5'7")

The fourth line in particular with the 16-inch height difference between Nissen/Innes must be an odd spectacle to watch!

This was my first line up until I got another smaller forward for my first line about a week ago...

Lopes 6'6" 231lbs - Hudspeth 6'5" 223lbs - Fiala 6'7" 227lbs

Lopes has since been moved to a lower line and replaced with a 5'6" 163lb guy LOL

Steam Profile

So here comes my (not-really-playing-together) King Sized Line:

Aato Oivio 200cm (6'6") 101kg (223lbs) 24yo PLY  -  Karel Bartanus 198cm (6'5") 96kg (212lbs) 25yo PLY/SNI  -  Tadeás Majercík 200cm (6'6") 100kg (220lbs) 27yo PLY

They could actually all play together on my first line, maybe I should try that in my next game just to see if that can turn my team around.

Due to not making lineups I had this line for a game:

    Hatfield    --    Boller    --    Gates

6'7" 240lbs --  6'7" 231lbs -- 6'7" 231lbs

Kinda tempted to put it together again, but it didn't really work out so I guess I'll have to pass.. ofc it didn't have anything to do with gates playing in 3lines,pp&pk :D

New season in the BHL (Lumber) and my checking line is this -

Hugo Sandgren (6'7, 212) - Andre Furoy (6'8, 240) -  Loick Ducas (6'8, 223)

Yanick Goodfellow (6'3, 207) - Jonas Simonsen (6'7, 218)

Results TBD, but I had a similar line last year and the results were good.

Curious on their speed ratings.  Wonder if a line of under 6 footers would run circles around them?  haha.

The offensive line is all 80 or above in skating. Slowest guy on defense is Simonsen with 68 skating, and the other guy has 73. Pretty decent for the BHL at least.

How bout the MINI ME'S

center Yuri Keates 5'6" 159

Right Wing Kyle Overturf  5'5", 154 lbs

Left Wing Pierre -Antoine Owens  5'5", 150 lbs

I've had Overturf from the first day I took over the team he's 35 right now... he plays great ... might be over his head in the BHL he may see more bench time this season but he's there if i need him to fill a spot

I had a mini-sized defensive corps for a few games due to injuries - might have been the smallest group of defensemen ever with all but one guy under 5'8" (and all but one under 165 lbs):

Merrifield (5'6"-165 lbs) - Friedel (6'2" - 205 lbs)

Sundgren (5'5" - 150 lbs) - Donatelli (5'8" - 154 lbs)

Bomb (5'7" - 158 lbs) - Combrink (5'5" - 154 lbs)

Surprisingly, we actually managed to go 4-4 during this time although I can't imagine we did a good job clearing the crease!

Keeping my King Sized line for the SHL season coming up....

Vorisek (6'8) - Andrews (6'8) - Guin (6'7)

Raeburn (6'7) - Demnjanovic (6'7)

I'm drooling over all that size.

My King Sized line is:

Left Wing:                 Center:                   Right Wing:

Caleb Denby            Mavrick Moses       Matthew Rosato

6'3 205                     6'4 209                   6'3 207

Not exactly Giant but big enough to shake people up. My third line is Kinda short but good defensively.

Albert Montplasir         Antonio Bachmann        Frank Pine

5'6 146                     5'9   172                         6'0   174

As you can see, Pine is tall but a bean pole, they aren't big but they do a good job.

My newest line in Dangles :)

LW Kinlough 6'8"

C Bader 6'8"

RW Romanchuk 6'8"

My best D pair would only be 6'4" so it doesn't really compete here

This topic makes me wonder...

Have you seen any really tall goaltenders in GPHM a la Ben Bishop of the NHL?
