Something went wrong when updating contracts for the upcoming season. Players with multiple years left was released on several teams. I will pause the game world and take a closer look on what happened. Perhaps a restore of the last day is needed. 

I’ll keep you posted.

Unfortunately there is no quick fix for the problem. I need to use a backup to restore the game world one day back in time. I have begun the restore but it will take a few more hours to finish.

 

The problem was caused due to some services restarting unexpectedly on the web server which interrupted the simulator causing duplicate simulations.

I also noticed (i don't know if it is related) that one of my player went from 4 to 2 years left in his contract.

Gameworld Clapper, Boykin Goldmine and this my goalie, Muryavyov.

The restore has now been made and the clock has been reset to the very beginning of Day 77. The simulation has been postponed a couple of hours in order to let everyone get back in the game.

 

If you find anything that doesn't seem right, please let me know. You can reply on this topic.

Yes, that's related. Should be ok fixed now.

 

Will the draft stay the same?

 

No I can't guarantee it, the draft result was not included in the backup.

When I first looked into my draft preferences. They were all gone. Now it reset to an early draft of my preferences and everyone is double. I can't save any changes.

I tried to unpin a player - log out - and look but he stays there in double.

 

If I try to save I get the typical error 'something went wrong' screen

I now have my full draft preference list but some of the players are double in it. If i try to chance something in the draft and save it still gives the message 'this can not be good'.

All of the contracts extensions that I signed this year have disappeared. I have one hour to sign everyone. Thank you.

Oh -- and if I try to offer a new extension, they refuse it out of hand. EVEN if I offer what they ask.

...hmmm. I must be mistaken. I think it may be okay now.

 

When I first looked, it said it was Day 77, and a number of my players showed 1 year left (last year of contract, no extension).

 

Now it says, Day 1, same players, 1 year left. Disaster averted. Phew.

Seaon 23 is taking time to follow through on day 67. Is this related?
