I understand that, but if your not in the GHL its really not a big deal. If you reach the GHL then your way behind because most teams have really good young teams with 92+ overalls at 25 yrs or younger since we were all around when the development was really high. Now its relatively low conpared to what it was, which makes it hard for new teams to compete. They literally have to sign a bunch of old guys to really have a chance. I mean it doesnt matter, but that is what I think.

To me it's just that I don't want to miss what I built over the past five seasons.

I'm fine with starting from scratch though. Just don't want newer players who aren't ok with it to feel like their opinions aren't valid because they havent been around as long.h

Also, if there was a reset would you guys start in GHL, LIHL or where else?

Depends on your account rank, id probably go to GHL. However people being promoted wouldnt be left out because we would have very little prospects and stars.

I prefer not to have a reset. I like to see the league history as its been around for many seasons.

I like the history too. Would there be an option to keep a "league history"?

Also, I think maybe keeping lumber and making another new world might be best

There is just the thing that the servers probably can't handle that =/

Maybe reset, keep "history" as a blank text box (since players & teams might not exist or keep 'em as "links") and start counting seasons from 25 or wherever Lumber is atm.?

Why not use one of the slow server and turn it into a fast one? All I see on chat is people playing on Lumber.

Maybe because the slow servers are quite well populated, and managers that play there have chosen the slow option for a reason?

Activity on the forum's general chat is hardly relevant to whether a game world is alive and active.

Fine, then I'm just against the reset.

As  someone who just joined back (after being in lumber for multiple seasons),I took the last remaining GHL team in Lumber. Looking at other teams rosters, there is no way I will ever be able to build my team up to their level (especially considering my team was pillaged through trades). And anyone coming up from the SHL will also have a hard time. Teams are far too established in the GHL right now and the same teams win every year. It would definitely be nice to see a new world and have everyone start from scratch. (Also, if this happens, I'd hate to see someone join late, only to have their CPU team they got assigned to have traded away their best players. So maybe a trade lock for a few days to start?)

At first I didn't care what happened reset or not, but what's occuring now is everyone is getting super worked up about the decision and it isn't healthy for the game's community. I play this game mostly because it has an amazing community aspect to it and I would hate to lose it over some decision over a reset.

People are starting to fill the chat with arguments and I know a lot of players might quit or get extremely upset about a reset.

That's why I think it's best for everyone if we just leave it be.

Sorry if my discussion on chat was out of place. I felt like I had to defend the no-reset position since there was a lot of pro-reset talk. I don't want to turn the community into a toxic mess!

That being said, Anders will have the last word and that's fine. I would like the decision to be made soon-ish because I like planning ahead and don't want to lose time doing deal if it's all going away.

I'm going to send out a poll to all managers in Lumber to collect every opinion. Expect the poll by tomorrow.

I wish we'd wait. I don't know how I feel about a reset right now. It'd be nice to do it once we have affiliate teams and maybe do a much larger draft to populate them. I really like my squad, it may not be the best, but I'm pretty attached to my guys and the stories I have about them in my head.

I guess the polls will decide.

I do hope that if we do a reset, we're all able to keep our team names and logos if we so decide. I'd hate to see someone snatch Portland, Steam, or my cool little train engine from me.
