SSHL -- NHL EHM 2005 Dynasty League, seeks GMs

Recommended Posts

The SuperSweet Hockey League NHL EHM 2005 has openings in six franchises.

You MUST have NHL EHM 2005 to play (the patched 2.1.3 demo will work for online play)

This is dynasty GM gaming at its best. If you like EHM and think you're a pretty good GM, try your luck against 29 other GMs who like EHM and think they are pretty good.

We're looking for ACTIVE gms who are will check in on a regular basis. Once-a-weekers need not apply.

Apply here: http://thesweetness.org/?q=node/68

We are a non-live sim league. We sim each night about 10 p.m. eastern and have a brief chat over MSN while the sim is running. It's a great way to have an active league without giving up 90 minutes of your day each day.

We are about to start the 2005-06 playoffs and the upcoming draft is 50-60 players deep. More than 500 players have been tweaked, edited or created for this database to provide a bit more realism, making this version of EHM a bit more fun than the traditional game.

Here are the teams:

Atlanta — Hossa, Savard, Kovalchuk and a great assort of prospects like Enstrom, Lavalaee, Pavelec, etc. Playing in the SE, the Thrashers can compete for the division easily.

Colorado — Good vets like Sakic and Hejduk and Tanguay. Lots of good prospects, like Wolski and Stastny. Poised to compete now and in the future.

NYI — The Islanders are a surprisingly solid team that is made more GM-friendly by Yashin's reduced contract. This team can compete NOW. When we had a good GM in place, they were gaining on the Penguins for the top spot in the East.

St. Louis — Team in transition, going bye bye are guys like Weight. Guys like Backes and Oshie are the new breed. A high pick in the upcoming 2006 draft should yield a franchise player.

Tampa — Tons of good veteran talent. Giguere in goal. St. Louis, Vinny LC up front. Boyle on D. Lots to like. But the cap will make things difficult and the team lacks prospects. This draft will remedy that, however. The Bolts can be a cup competitor for several years with their core.

Edmonton — Team close to the cap with lots of veteran stars, like Lidstrom and Doan. May need a rebuild.
