Here's what you need to know about MAX MODERN BASEBALL.

- Initial Rosters from the 2013 Season.

- Entering our 2nd season, which is the 2014.

- Converting from OOTP14 to OOTP15 as soon as possible and good to go for sims. (Expect regular season to start in Mid-April/Early May)

- Complete minor league system

- About 200 players per organization + Full coaching staff.

- Financials, Rule 5 Draft, Amateur Draft, Coaches & Scouting

- 1-day sim every night.

- Moral system is "off" for easier management.

- Injuries are set to "Normal" so expect a lot of movement over the season.

- Players going into retirement are up to those who own them. (Career ending are usualy set to a long-term DL)

Here's my background as a GM/Commish:

- On this date, I'm 29 years old.

- I've been participating in a modern hockey league type of pool league since 2003 called LHSPJC that you can now find on my website @ Ligue Hockey Sim-PJC (Note: This league will switch to FHM as soon as possible.)

- I've decided to run a baseball league in summer 2011, we did a 25 round draft that lasted about 6 months over the internet. Most of my GMs are still around. (this is my Max Retro Baseball league using OOTP12>OOTP14)

- I've been around for over 2 years now with AllSimBaseball. I invested time & money on this website to make it look alive and interesting. People can post articles and chat on the Chatango chat on the left of any league's home page. (Inspired by the MLB-Pro from http://www.GMGames.org)

- I've been using incentives to keep people involved in my leagues. My incentives are really easy to follow: export once a week for baseball league (minimum) to receive in-game cash bonus at the end of the season to help you out with your team. I see this as "GM doing PR".

- I'm always available for any question, 24/7 since I have an iPhone that is always right next to me.

- I'm using a mailing list every weekend to let you know about any league's activities. It's just a summary of whats going on, relatively short emails, with all the most important links (Home page, League Reports & Incentives Chart) so if you have been away for a week or two, you can check on what's going on.

- I'm also allowing people to take some time off for pleasure or else (jail time, stuck with wife for a week no matter how much you love her, we all know that you will deeply miss OOTP during that time), see my incentives chart to know how many weeks you are allowed to take without being punished.

 

Overall, I care a lot about my website and sims. This is why we are looking for people that love the game and that want to have fun with other people and enjoy a slow-pace sim type.

If you are looking for an online league with a 1-game sim type, this is your chance.

 

Max Modern Baseball League is about...

This league is focused on managing your baseball organization in & out. We enjoy chatting about the latest sim, we write articles & blogs over the week, and we are very active.

 

We use incentives to "help you out through tougher times" because we know that certain teams are not as rich as the Yankees.

We need you to export your changes at least once a week, and if for more than 2 weeks you do not export, the commish will try to get a hold on you. You have 3-days (72hrs) to reply to his call, otherwise you are out and we will hire someone else.

 

What we need are users that care about baseball period. Imagine taking care or being at the head of an organization, there's a lot of things to look after. Our focus is on building talent so they can reach the Major League one day!

 

Our league used the OOTP14 quickstart rosters in May 2013. We have about 200 players per organization. We use coaching staff & scouting. It's fun if you are into it and particiapte. It gets really boring when you don't. And if you ask, it is now considered a FICTIONAL league despite the real-names and teams because we don't recalculate stats at all.
