The Chicago White Sox have made the following players available leading up to Opening Day 2019....

2B/SS Juan Cintron (AAA) -- elite defensive middle infielder.  25 year old switch hitter on a league minimum salary with 2 option years remaining.

LH Michael Blake (AAA) -- Left-handed specialist reliever.  28 years old on a league minimum salary.  We have a couple other left handed relievers in our bullpen this year so Blake is expendable.  Has a 91% ground ball rate this Spring.

SP Hudson Boyd (ML) -- We acquired Boyd from CIN this offseason.  He's a 26 year old SP on a league minimum salary who had a 2.48 ERA in 13 starts for CIN last season and a 1.8 WAR in less than half a season for a full starter.  But we've decided Jonathan Ware is ready to start this season and don't have room for Boyd.

RP Stetson Allie (AAA) -- A veteran AAA pitcher, high stuff, 97-99 velocity.  On a minor league contract so can stashed at AAA for depth as desired.

LH RP Blair Walters (AAA) -- Left-handed reliever with 4 pitches.  Has the stamina to start.  On a minor league contract so can be stashed at AAA for depth as desired.

CF Brett Jackson (AAA) -- Good 4th OFer type.  Can play all three defensive positions well.  Hit 15 home runs and stole 16 bases in the minors last year.  Minor league contract. Captain personality.

RP Austin Platt (AAA) -- High stuff & velocity relief pitcher.  27 years old, minor league contract.  Routinely allows less hits than innings pitched in the minors.
