Heroic and determined mixed in with some stable players and playing them will raise the winner instinct. From what i can tell, it doesn't rise right away. It has to be built up thru playing the games too.

2-way contract players will stay 2-way if they move down one league. If they were to move another league down their contract switches to 1-way.
 
If they didn't have any contract clauses the contract switches to 1-way if moved one league down.

Odd, major-underdog, upsets in Season 11.  SHL Tomahawks over GHL Trojans.  GHL finals and semi-finals with Marauders beating Vandals/Protons.
 
What do the Marauders and Tomahawks goalies have in common?  They are both TOUGH.  I think I'm onto something... (goes out and signs all tough players regardless of skills...)

I now have both my affiliates stocked with drafted prospects. I've created a system for myself to try and maximize how they get ice time, but I am worried that their development will be shorted because of how the affiliate teams utilise players. I have my top two center prospects on my AAHL team, but only one is being used as a center and the other is a forward. I imagine it is like this because they are the top two players on the team so the affiliate is loading up the top line. But when a player isn't taking faceoffs they won't develop their faceoff skill. This also throws my other assigned players out of whack because I now have a forward player filling in for the second line player. It just creates sloppy and unrealistic development.

If we could assign them to a position we would have more control over their development and it would be more like a real life affiliate system where to top team sends down a player and they want them to develop in a certain role or position. We still wouldn't be able to allocate where they are in the lineup, that would be on the affiliate but we would be able to make sure that they are training in their position nonetheless.  

I've stopped putting in the backup, because I've seen teams dominate leagues with only one goaltender.

I think the draft system needs a revamp.... for example why does the number 1 team in the GHL get the number 1 pick....to me they should have the 16th pick at least .... What should happen IMO is the SHL and GHL Being Pro leagues should be treated as such ...In other words if after relegation playoffs you are last in SHL your team should have first draft Pick in round 1 32nd pick round 2 and 1st pick in round 3 ... after reg season and before playoffs if your first in GHL you would get 32nd pick in first round , first pick in 2nd round and 32nd pick in 3rd round This would help with evening things up..... the other 3 (BHL IHL LIHL ) could be grouped the same way. example... My Team NSS after relagation playoffs now sit in 14th place in IHL my draft pick should be 19th in round 1 of the bottom 3 leagues. Bueno Park Fire shoul have 1st pick of round 1 of the draft for our 3 leagues.... So the 97th ranked player in the youth draft would be able to play for LIHL. this would go a long way to improve all teams in all leagues....The Oshawa Outlaws would have number 1 pick in first round...would go a long way to helping Oshawa compete........ just my opinion ...... Maybe I'm wrong about how it works please if someone can explain the draft process Would be Awesome.....  The Oshawa Outlaws would have number 1 pick in first round...would go a long way to helping Oshawa compete.

The affiliate team will decide its own lineup based on what players it has available. So there are no playing time guaranteed. However affiliate teams will sign less of its own players than other normal non playable teams.
 
 
No change in UAT memory and CPU. But the simulator has gotten an update that should reduce database load.
 
 
Can't say for sure, but at least a week or two. There are still things to develop further but I'm thinking of making the official release in two steps. Mainly because the update also fixes the delayed simulation problems we see on the official servers.
 
 
The affiliate teams may sign its own players. Those players are not available for your team.
 
 
Assigned players will only count a tenth of their salary against your team's salary cap when assigned. Since all players are contracted by your team I feel that it needs to be one and the same budget.
 
 
As of now (this pre release) the whole salary must fit under the cap when signing a player. But it's in the backlog to introduce an "injury/reserve list" where players may be added when not fitting under the cap. Players on that list don't add to the total salaries of the team but will suffer an 2-3 day activation penalty when added to the roster. This is something that's not completely decided yet.

I'd rather teams get punished by cutting their high salary players, and they'll have no choice but to be stuck with that cap hit for a couple seasons.

I logged into my gameplan account a couple hours ago with no problem, but then went to log in just an hour afterwards and I'm banned for supposed cheating for 5 days (10 game days). I'm mainly concerned since I'll miss the entirety of my playoffs and possibly the ability to re-sign all of my outgoing players and the draft (of which I use shortlist only but haven't prepared yet, and that I have really good picks for). In the end I'll probably just have to wait it out, but I wanted to sort of think out loud for some of the things that could have lead to my ban.
 
1) My brother (in the GHL in Clapper) traded me a decent prospect for essentially nothing from my team for me to trade down to a team in the BHL where I took that team's worst player to give them the prospect from my brother. This was all done to repair a trade that my brother had carried out with that BHL team the season beforehand. Because of a bug (that is now fixed) the player did not get transferred to that team. This was a series of obviously imbalanced trades that also involved a conflicting IP Address, potentially causing a ban for me.
 
2) Several imbalanced trades could have also been a cause. I've done a ton of trading these past couple of days to try to rebuild my team considerably, and quite a few of these trades were done favoring the other team to sort of sway them to carry through. This could have had an effect on my "cheater status", but none of it was done illegally or to maliciously benefit my team.
 
3) Ending up with great draft picks could've been suspicious enough for people to report me. Whether out of jealousy or suspicion, I'm not really one to assume, but it could have been a cause. I got rid of all of my own draft picks and acquired a 1st round GHL, 2nd round GHL, 1st round SHL, and 3rd round SHL pick (after 3 of the 4 picks got bumped up from teams being promoted). One of these picks was from Anders' himself, and I was involved actively in messaging other managers to get these trades to go through and figure out what would work.
 
In the end, I don't believe I've done anything ban-worthy and think it may just be an automatic system that locked me out. I'm not really upset so much as concerned that I'll miss the entire post-season of which I really need to be involved in. I hope something can be done, or that this at least helps others avoid "risky business" that may lead to a ban.

That'd be my team. Don't think the trades I made were unfair by any means? Gave up quality prospects for them. Given how bad the draft looks, I honestly think I lost out on those trades to a good extent :/

I was about to say. This draft sucks. He didnt gain anything in those trades. Canucks is a respectable player.

Hey everyone, just joined a few days ago. Took over LIHL team North Shore Dragons, renamed to Medicine Hat Warriors. So far 0-3, with my team 2pts out of a playoff spot. Not really caring for this season though. This team has potential to compete next season with some promising prospects that'll round out my top 6 & bottom 6, and build off of the 3rd ranked PK.
